Das Leben einer grandiosen Wissenschaftlerin und der grausame Untergang ihrer Geschichte

Alone Child

Chapter 1: Alone Child

A terrible car accident occurred one day on an icy and snow-covered country road in the middle of the forest, far outside of a city, where hardly anyone drove past in the absolute darkness of the night.
But that night a car drove by here, manned by a male driver, the passenger was a beautiful woman in her mid-30s and in the back seat sat a young girl with shoulder-length green hair, dressed in an orange dress, white pearl tights, black sneakers and so that she was not happy she was wearing a long black coat.
Apparently the family was coming from a party or a feast, but now their festive clothes were smeared with blood.
The car moved off the road, crashed into a tree at 80 km / h in storms and snow.
The long white dress of the beautiful passenger, smeared with blood with the red of life, just like the man's black tuxedo and the child's clothing.
The driver and front passenger hit the windshield with their head on the impact with the tree, which immediately cracked and shattered, leaving traces of the glassy splinter deep in their heads.
Serious injuries and the fight against the cold ultimately led to the agonizing death of the father and mother when the emergency services, fire brigade and police finally arrived at the scene.
Only one was spared blood-smeared with head injuries, a slight concussion, scratches and bruises, the couple's daughter, whom they called Alma when they were born.
Just a tender five years old and then having to experience something terrible, the young Alma would never forget this trauma and it would always burn in her soul.
A paramedic tried to ask Alma what had happened, but with a sad look on the floor, she did not give him a single answer and ignored the questions.

It was horrible to watch my parents die in that car accident, horrible.
We had just returned from a family reunion, or rather my aunt's birthday party, and were on our way home.
The night was dark and cold, the windows froze to death in the freezing freezing temperatures of deep winter and my parents were still wide awake, while I was fighting against fatigue.
At some point we drove on the lonely road that led through the forest.
Cars rarely drove by here in the middle of the night, the route was simply too dangerous and in the worst case I had to experience that.
In a curve my father accelerated slightly, lost control of the car's steering wheel because of the ice under the tires and came off the road.
Everything, this single moment just went like in slow motion, very slowly everything raced past my eyes until at the end we crashed under the wheels at more than 80 km / h against an old and large fir tree.I heard a clang and saw how my parents' heads hit the front window pane exactly as it hit, and it broke into a thousand individual pieces, like a mirror.
My eyes widened rapidly when I saw the gushing blood leak from their wounds and this blood dripped in abundance onto my parents' doormat, seats and clothing.
A lot of the red liquid splashed through the case of the car and I was no better off either.
On impact, I greeted my father's seat, my seatbelts tore like rubber and then I landed on the floor.
Injuries to my head causing a minor concussion and other miscellaneous injuries.
I could still hear my mother struggling against death and the cold in order to stay alive.
My father had long since died because a branch buried itself deep in his head.
Again and again my mother tried to keep her eyes open, because she knew that as soon as they fell, then her eyes would remain closed forever and they would wander forever in the land of dreams, and that was exactly what she wanted to avoid.
Just to protect me, her daughter, a mother who wanted to protect her child.
The bond between me and my mother had always been very thick, so that nothing could separate us, but this time it was death that cut the bond with huge scissors and took what was most important to me!

Now and again several paramedics tried to ask Alma about the accident, how it happened, what exactly happened and how her parents were killed, whether an animal was involved or not, all the people around Alma wanted to know, but she gave no answer and sat like in a trance, wrapped in a thick aluminum blanket on the edge of a paramedic's bed and just let the time go by.
The little girl with the green hair suffered a severe shock in addition to her concussion, she felt nothing at all at the moment, neither sadness nor happiness, did not shed a single tear, she sat there as if she were just an empty shell without a soul.
The doctors offered her food and a hot drink, but she did not respond.
Slowly the helpers worried about the girl.

These people kept asking me something, but I didn't answer their questions, they should just leave me alone at this moment.
What did they expect from me? Didn't they see that my parents died? And I survived this terrible car accident on my own in this freezing cold.
I didn't move and ignored everything around me, including my feelings.
I felt so empty, neither happiness nor sadness, or despair, I couldn't feel anything anymore.
My heart was torn apart tonight and my soul was robbed, my body was in absolute darkness, I became nothing.
I thought maybe I could just ignore everything, leave everything behind and just live in this emotionless state, live life without emotions. It felt so easy, but when I was thinking about how I could grow up without my parents, without the love and security of my parents who gave you security in life, I couldn't do it anymore.
In addition, the people around me kept offering me something to eat or a hot drink, but I ignored them, just let them do their job.
The constant questions and the feeling of strolling through life alone from now on became too much for me, I could no longer withstand this pressure.
My lungs literally crushed and I kept trying to take deep breaths to fill my lungs.
I knew that the cold air was getting into my lungs with every deep breath I took, but I felt differently, as if this wasn't happening and at some point I felt dizzy.
Everything went black before my eyes, at first blurred, as if I needed glasses because my eyesight suddenly deteriorated and I would go blind and then everything went black, as if I were blind.
How I touched something on my body in my blinded state, I could still hear until I felt nothing at all.
As if my body had died, my soul was torn from my body and I was only in the dark due to the dwindling eyesight, in this certain nothing.

Professionally, the paramedics noticed the five-year-old girl's eyes shut and she sank to the floor and acted quickly to take care of Alma.
The shock of the sudden death of her parents and the many people around them asking for answers from her was just a lot for her.
A young doctor, just eighteen years old, with dark brown short hair and in his doctor's coat, immediately looked after the young Alma and he knew that many of those present were only interested in their jobs and not in the health of the people, let alone that of the girl.
Even if these people thought that people meant something to them, it was just a lie, the young doctor with the name George knew that and he just felt sorry for little Alma.
He has often seen such cases in his job, with dead people, seriously injured and other such things, but it was the first time for him that a little girl was there and also lost her parents.
He couldn't understand how she felt, nobody could, but to see from her face how she suffered from it and that Alma was in shock, was not to be ignored and thanks to this knowledge he was able to react faster than she succumbed to the pressure and passed out.
George put her gently and carefully in a soft couch in the ambulance, covered her with a thick blanket to keep her from freezing, and decided to drive Alma to the hospital immediately because her condition seemed unstable.
He didn't care what the others said, that he should wait at the scene of the accident until the parents can be taken out of the car, the little girl went first. The girl's parents were no longer of any importance to him, they were dead, but Alma was still alive and so he had to take care of her and drive off immediately, before things might change.
At the hospital, Alma was immediately taken to the intensive care unit and the doctor George was no longer responsible for her from now on, as his job was outside the hospital.
He just watched as two nurses brought the young girl into the intensive care unit in the mobile couch in the endless corridor.
A few days passed in the hospital when suddenly the little girl with the green hair in the hospital room opened her eyes and wondered where she was.
A nurse was in the room just as Alma finally woke up.
But she still didn't answer any further questions the nurse asked in her lovely voice.
Instead, she looked sadly at the person in front of her.

When I opened my eyes heavily, it was light.
The rays of the sun were the first thing I noticed, followed by a white room that seemed cold to me with the bland walls.
I looked around slowly, first the room, then my body, I had plasters and bandages everywhere, my bones hurt and next to me was a drip that was shot through a vein on my arm.
I immediately realized that I was in a hospital and miserable.
Then there was this woman, in her heavyset, who held a tray with food and drink in her hand and also asked me questions like these people that night.
And still I didn't want an answer to that, the only thing I did was just stare at them with sad desperation, hoping that they would leave me alone.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door and a young doctor with short dark hair entered the room, Dr. George Gero, the doctor who brought me here against my will.
He didn't know anything about me, how I was feeling, what I was going through, and
