**** Natsu ****

I always wanted to tell her. But every time something came up. I don't even know if she will reciprocate my feelings, but I would wish so! Once in my life I want to be able to tell her what she means to me. I want to be able to tell her that her laughter keeps me alive. That I think of her when I fall asleep at night and that I think of her when I wake up. I always see her face in front of my inner eye. I try to keep my heart pounding, but I can't. Her hair that she lets fall so elegantly, her eyes that shine brighter than the sun and her sleek body that moves like a snake. Am I even the right one for her? Maybe she deserves someone better ... but I won't give up even if I sacrifice my life for her. When I first saw her, my body and soul were hit. There's no way I'm going to just watch someone else fall in love with her. I fight for this love! I don't care how much pain I have to go through, I don't care how many hells I have to go through, the main thing is that she keeps her smile and can keep shining.
But now I take my heart in my hand and walk towards her. I breathe in the sweet scent of her hair. Then I hug her. With all my courage, I tell her these words and hope that she will not be indifferent.
“I love you, Lucy!” She is silent. Now I'm scared, scared of being rejected and in pain. But she turns around in my arms and smiles at me. As if in a trance, I bend over her and want to put my lips on hers. She doesn't back down. My heart is racing and my lips are tingling. And I dare to take the step. The step that may change everything. I accept everything, really everything, just to be able to taste the delicate taste of your mouth once. Just to forget everything and be who I really am. I pull her lips gently and enjoy the feeling of her closeness. When I want to break away from her, she pulls me back and kisses me intensely. My eyes are wide open, I wouldn't have expected that. "I love you too, Natsu."

**** Gray ****

I can not breath. It gives me a pang when I see the fire dragon kiss the woman of my dreams. But what can I do? It's okay as long as they're both happy, isn't it? Even if it hurts a hell of a lot, it's okay. But I can't hold back the tears of pain. And so I stand behind a pillar with wet eyes and wish them both luck. There are situations in which I can't beat him. Once upon a time, yes once upon a time, I was the stronger one, but that was before.Times had changed, Natsu had gotten stronger. And Lucy had decided for him. I knew when it was time to give up, so why was I so angry? And above all ... to whom? On my buddy? Or the girl I've loved for so long?
I am shocked when someone puts a hand on my shoulder. I whirl around expecting an angry Natsu or an angry Lucy, but see a Juvia who has blushed. “It's good.” The blue-haired woman says it with such calm that I stop crying. She approaches my face and hugs me deeply. “I'll always be there for you, Gray!” My eyes widen. She left out the "Sama". Even if it hurts inside, I feel good about me. So I hug her back. And the next words she says burn deep into my mind.

"If your heart bursts, I'll pick up the pieces and mend them up. Because I love no one as much as you. And no one loves you as much as I do. That's why I cannot and will not let you get hurt!"

I close my eyes and hug them tighter. "Thanks!"
