enough for me! I turned to them angrily. When they noticed my look it was suddenly quiet. They looked at me nervously and took a few steps back. Within a few milliseconds, I was in the middle of the group, right behind the leader.I leaned forward slightly and whispered in his ear, just loud enough for everyone to understand:
"If you still want to experience tomorrow, I would run away very quickly if I were you"
Wide-eyed, he looked at me over his shoulder as he slowly turned and took a few steps back.
There was something strange about his look. He looked at me like I was the devil myself. Slightly irritated, I looked for something that could have triggered his behavior towards me. Now my gaze fell on his frightened eyes and what I saw in them gave me goose bumps as well. I saw my reflection looking at me with blood-red eyes.
This face looked like me, but it had nothing in common with me anymore. That look didn't belong to an innocent 12 year old girl, it belonged to a bloodthirsty demon. It must have been just a few seconds while all of this seeped into my consciousness because the group was still there. When I took my eyes off the boy, it was as if he were breaking out of a rigidity. He stumbled back a few steps in panic and then ran away screaming. After a few more seconds, the other children followed.
I stood there frozen and was no longer able to move. Gradually I realized what I had just done. Without thinking about it, without my brain giving the order, I had run to the group and at one speed! I had covered a good five meters in a millisecond. But that wasn't even the terrifying thing. I had just whispered a death threat to these kids and at that moment I was really ready to make it happen.
Again my back gave goose bumps. I was slowly regaining control of my limbs. I quickly picked up my things from the street and started walking. I just wanted to go home, wanted to hide in some dark corner and not get out. I got faster and faster as I fought back tears.
