Zwei Länder, eine Liebe
Tournament 1
I've put together my own little world. Have successfully completed my training and have also been taken on and now earn my own money fully and can now afford one of many dreams: martial arts. I have now registered and have already had a few days of training behind me. With the right coordination between work and training, I manage to become so good after a few months that my Sensai wants to use me for a German tournament. I'm happy, of course, but unfortunately I have to tell him:
"I can't promise you anything, because I still have to discuss this with my work!"
and he just said:
"Yeah, well, the tournament is on ... (any date). Please see if he agrees!"
"Yes, of course I will do my best!"
My vacation was entered there within a month and now there is no longer a problem that I could not be there. The time up to the tournament flew by because of the variety - work - training - ... and now the time had come.
We drove a bit and finally arrived. We stayed in our hotel and two "men" moved into our rooms. Since we were two women and two guys the decision was easy and our Sensai had his own room. We first unpacked in peace and then met at an agreed time in the hotel restaurant to discuss tomorrow.
After this meeting everyone went back to their room to prepare themselves again and to pack their stuff.
The next day we all got up early and got ready. Together we go to the town hall where the tournament takes place. We changed the while and our Sensai just signed us in again. We went into the great hall together and were amazed at the size. We were one of the teams that got there very early. While we were preparing we observed some teams. My teammates said to me:
"This team is very brutal and that over there fast and of the team the big guy is the best and 3-time winner in the individual duel and be prepared that he won't show any pity just because you're a woman!"
"I think we will come very far this time because we have you Mia and you have great skills!",
said our Sensai to us. I just thought:
"What does he mean by >> great skills < And answered, slightly irritated:
"Ok, Sensai!"
After a while, all the teams were present and the welcome ceremony began as scheduled. Then the selection process began and our team could only boast with victories. In the 2nd round it gets a lot tougher. In this round, the fight was first individual and then in teams of two. We put up with these fights because we only lose once out of five. The team of the 3-time winner can record every fight with a victory. Now it went into the 3rd round and there were only the best present, so three teams. The two teams that lost at least once competed first and the winners then compete against the team with the 3-time winner.
In this fight only individual competitions were made. We have to win at least twice and can only summon a teammate once. We have already won twice, but I am called because this one opponent is still quite fit and our team member was also slightly injured from the last fight.
The anger gradually rose in me as the entire opposing team laughed at him and us. When I got into the ring, the laughter got louder! He wanted to really finish off my teammate but he didn't expect me because I won't let him down and since he is now making me more and more angry and I have no more patience with the guy, my anger suddenly awoke and also my sharingan.
My Sensai notices it and has to smile because he somehow already knew. When he attacked me I avoided him so quickly that he no longer knew what was happening around him. All my comrades were speechless! He kept attacking both of us and I watched him very closely through my Sharingan, always avoiding him. When he took a short breath I asked him:
"Was that all you can already?", And after these words he attacked me again but now it was all floury too stupid and now defended me against him and he was amazed when I did him with his own techniques had beaten. However, he was smart enough to say:
"I give up!"
The referees immediately ended this fight and also declared our entire team to be the winners. Now it was time for the final sprint against the best team in the competition. When I said to my opponent and team:
"I'll still take care of you if I do anything to myself or my team! Is that clear?" I looked at her very seriously with my Sharingan eyes and while I turned around I closed the Sharingan again.
And then the answer came from the opposing team only:
"Yes, we will leave you alone forever!"
Our two groups left the mat and joined the rest of the team. All my team members ran up to me and my injured comrade beaming with joy and first of all fell around my neck. We all cheered and after a few minutes he was also taken care of but can no longer participate due to his injuries. The day came to an end and we now had a team with mixed techniques before what took place the next day. We went back to our hotel, had something to eat and afterwards discussed the day ahead. After this meeting, everyone has time to themselves.
Because there was a meditation room in this hotel, I was alone and shortly afterwards I disappeared there.I meditated very extensively and completely forgot the time, but this long meditation was very important for me as I was to experience. When I was finished with the meditation I looked at the clock and found that it was already half past twelve and on the day of the final we had to get up early again. I went back to my room and when I lay down I fell asleep right away.
That morning I didn't want to get up and my friend and fellow campaigner (Gina) had difficulties getting me out of bed and almost wanted to call our Sensai, but I said to her:
"You don't need to fetch him, I'll get up already!", Because I knew exactly that our Sensai would have given me a severe punishment. We got ready and went to have breakfast all together. Then we went straight to the competition. When we got there, our opponent in the final was already there and laughed at us really getting ready.
This made my comrades a little scared, but not me, I was more pleased to be able to show them that not only this team is the best. The other three of us warmed up and in this last fight it was knocked out and you have to win 2 out of three. I said to the other two comrades-in-arms:
"You're more into the guns area and you're more into the no guns area but the last one where you have to use both let me do it, OK? Is that clear?"
"Yes OK! " ,
answered the two. The first unarmed fight went to us and the second went to our opponents, so it was a tie and now it was my turn with the mixed one. It was hard work and our fight hardly wanted to end but we both answered the referee at the same time:
"No, we continue!"
Just before things got really tough again, I was able to wake up my Sharingan. Since it was awakened again, I was able to copy some of his movements and hit him hard in the process. Our fight (between me and the best, where mentioned above) had been going on for a little longer, but we both were getting closer and closer to our last strength.
In the end we both collapsed at the same time and the referees gave us an ultimatum on what victory should mean for us and our team. They meant:
"If you can stand still for 20 seconds in the next few seconds, you will win this tournament!"
We both got up, but after only a few seconds he needed to get together again and right now the long, yesterday's meditation benefited me, because I could stand for the entire 20 seconds and beyond and so I got the for myself and my team Tournament victory. A big award ceremony took place as well as an after-show party with the respective teams of the top 3.
The next day at noon we all drove home again. Our dojo had a welcome and winner party (all in one).I only had two days left from my vacation and I enjoyed it to the full! After this competition all of our lives went back to normal. Everyone at my job who knew about it wanted to know how the tournament went and were happy that we had won. Life went on as normal as usual. What we did not notice at the tournament, however, was that some were selected by a jury to represent the state at the Germany tournament.
