Mina dreamed of a wheat field. She stood in the middle and looked around, but after a while she decided to lie down and watch the clouds. They passed slowly by, occasionally showing the sun, the rays of which tickled Mina's face. The young woman, just 16 years old, sighed, got up and looked around again. She didn't know why she kept looking around. It was probably a habit from when she was still being hunted. She took Warda in her hands and looked at her sword. It resembled a saber, but was larger and heavier, so you had to handle it like a two-handed sword. She owed so much to this sword. It had always protected her from the demons.
Sudden discomfort filled Mina and she looked around again. What she saw frightened her. Hundreds of demons surrounded the girl and attacked her. One with an unusual shape also started attacking them. "We Akumas should destroy you! You are our enemy!"
"A-akumas ..." she muttered rigidly. She knew beforehand that demons are also called Akumas, but she just didn't like the term, which was because she wasn't as familiar with the term as demons. Mina was just about to run when the strange creature suddenly appeared in front of her. The monster's cruelly twisted face formed a sneering, smiling grimace. The Akuma was about to attack her when Mina woke up from the dream.
Panicked, Mina grabbed her left shoulder and told herself that everything was okay. Your mark glowed so strangely in the dream, as always when these demons appear. In her mind, the brown-haired woman replayed the whole thing. It was also the demons that gave her the mark on her arm.
The little girl ran screaming along the deposit, the edge of which is adorned with stone tombstones. A demon was after her, about to kill her. She was there when the demon came into being. There her mother stood by her father's grave and wept in despair and sadness. The 7-year-old Mina had followed her secretly and was hiding behind a gigantic tombstone, watching what was happening with horror. Suddenly a plump man with a top hat and a disturbing grin on his face stood in front of her mother. He was talking to her, the little girl could see that. However, she did not hear the words because she was too far from the action. Suddenly Mina's mother screamed the name of her father and the iron skeleton, which the brown-haired woman only noticed now, began to move. Suddenly Mina's mother speared it and slipped into the corpse. The girl who had rushed up in the meantime had watched the event with horror. Mina ran away, but a horde of demons awaited her outside the cemetery. The largest of them resembled a bird, but was surrounded by fire. It attacked her and hit her on the left shoulder. Mina panicked and walked through the village until she left the monsters behind.
Mina put her right hand to her forehead and mumbled the words. “It was just a dream.” Slowly she got up and left, knowing that she wouldn't sleep any more that night. The young woman kept touching the scabbard on her belt to make sure that Warda was still there. She looked down at herself. Her clothes consisted of an old shirt, pants, and an old pair of boots. That didn't sound too bad, but she had been wearing it for a while and apart from river water, the clothes have no other type of cleaning. Sighing, she resumed her way.
A few days later she had already reached the next village, where she was received again by suspicious people. She hadn't loved since the thing with her mother, had almost completely forgotten the feeling. Fear, suspicion, hatred and anger accompanied her day. Annoyed, she left the village after an argument with a strange guy who bumped into her. But there was also something funny about him. The hatred in his eyes was not for her mark or her person, but rather for the general public, and that confused the girl even more. She also noticed that he was dressed similarly to the boy a few days ago.
Cursing to herself, Mina mentally compared the boy and the strange guy from before. The blue-haired man was a lot taller and looked a bit older, even if the age difference was barely noticeable. The boy was about her age. In addition, the older one was much more aggressive. Mina mentally touched her forehead with a sigh. What is there only for people.
Still in a bad mood, the brown-haired woman thought about it. 'What should I do now? Should I stay on the trail of strangely dressed people or continue looking for someone who accepts me for who I am? 'Confused, she sat down on a rock by the side of the road. She realized that there was no point in moving from village to village and avoiding every city. In the end, only people who hate them are the residents again. The strange guys, however, weren't like that. They neither looked at her with disdain nor disgusted her that the cursed had no place in her homeland.
Mina quickly hurried back to the village. Maybe there were more of these people. But then she stopped. Maybe these people didn't want her at all. If you don't hate them, that doesn't mean you like them. Sighing, she took her arm. Where were people like their mother?
“STRIKE!” Shocked, she turned around and saw a strange guy running through the village yelling 'Strike' after every halfway attractive woman. Her mouth formed into a small smile when she saw an old man with black circles around his eyes give him a punch. Then she recognized the coats. They were like the funny men wore. What do you mean by men? They were almost all their age, so almost still children.
The redhead now passed Mina too, but only saw her from behind.
"STRI-" He paused as the brunette turned around. "-ke ..."
"II is what?" Asked the girl
"You're beautiful…"
"Uhh ..." Mina really didn't know what to answer because she had never heard that before and she always found herself ugly.
The redhead was about to leave. "See you!"
"W-wait!"
"Yes?"
"Uh ... uh ... d-thank you ..."
