Chapter: Luces and Lulu
It is already evening. The first day of school after the holidays is now over. I'm sitting here on my blue four-poster bed and caressing Crumbles (my fat rat) and trying to somehow write what comes to my mind. It's not that easy to find something. But I could begin to tell how Lulu and Luces reacted when we met at the train station.
I stood in front of the train and was almost surprised that I was NOT almost too late this time. My mother always forgot when it was time to tell our muggle neighbors to please drive me to the train station. No, I was there on time today!
We live in the muggle world. My mum runs a little "witches" shop, with anti-wrinkle ointment and other stuff.
I looked around, maybe I saw Luces or Lulu somewhere. This was not the case. A little bored, I get on the express and sit in a free compartment. With violence and deceit, I got my heavy, overcrowded suitcase into the compartment. Crumbs whistled and stared at me with her dark eyes. I took pity on her and took her out of the much too small cage and put her on my shoulder.
Immediately she tugged at my hair and lay down on the back of my neck to sleep there, which she always did. Some time passed and it popped into my head whether maybe my friends hated me because I hadn't contacted me. But no sooner had I thought of this than I heard a wild battle of words rang out along the wagon.
"... He's definitely not a relative of Lil!" shouted a broken voice. “But he has the same surname as her I bet!” Squeaked a high girl's voice.
It was my friends who argued as always.
They stopped yelling when they looked into the compartment and saw me lying in the corner. "Hey." I just said and smiled.
I noticed that both of them smiled flatly at me and also said hey, sat down across from me.
As always, Luces had been completely messed up. With his quarreling sweater and tight black jeans, he was always quite conspicuous, but his eyes of different colors are special. Blue and green. He was in the Slytherin house.
He smiled at me. This time it was a real smile.
“How was the vacation?” I asked at both robes.
They looked at each other and Lulu replied, “I'm really mad at you.” She raised an eyebrow, “You haven't reported the whole time!” I felt the blush on my face. "I'm so sorry. I had to help Mum in the shop. You know ... the Muggles," I stammered a little. Suddenly Lulu laughed out loud. I felt a little ripped off. When she stopped laughing, she wiped a tear from her eyes and squeaked that she knew and just wanted to annoy me to say hello. I poked her with my arm and then laughed along with her. Lulu's real name is Juliet and is one year younger than Luces and me. She was in Gryffendor and therefore probably the bravest of us. She's had as many guesses as the Weasley twins put together. That's why I loved her so much. With her long red-blonde hair and brown eyes, she was almost a Weasley.
We talked a little about the coming school days and what to expect in the new school year. After a while we were silent and I leaned against the window and watched some trees slide past me. My eyes suddenly became heavy and I was about to nod off when Luces raised his voice. "Lil ... there ... there is a guy like that ... Sirius Black and ... since he has the same surname as you, we thought ... maybe he's related to you or something ...?" Hardly had he finished speaking I had the wish to miss him a line that made him grow old. I hated it so much when someone compared me to others or said I was related to someone just because I had the same name. He knew this and looked at Lulu, embarrassed.
"No I'm not." I said and gave him an angry look.
Luces straightened up and looked at me. "I knew that!" He said proudly, "Lulu just wanted to know"
Lulu glared at him. I thought if looks could kill.
I felt Luces drifted into an ecle. "I'll go to the bathroom then."
He said embarrassed and snaked through the suitcases.
He ran quickly towards the toilet and almost bumped into a first grader who was still looking for a compartment.
Lulu and I looked at each other. I didn't know at the moment if I should be angry with her because she had violated my rules, but I decided against it because I thought what good it would be to be angry and smiled at her.
She smiled back and I understood that she really couldn't have meant it.
It was now evening and Luces had come again. He said he only had a very bad stomachache, which is why he was gone for almost two hours. Crumbs now ran around in the compartment and climbed on Luces shot around because she smelled Lucifer, Luce's rat. She forced the hard way into his sweater and snuggled up to him.
Luces didn't even notice as he started to snore and drool.
Lulu and I exchanged ideas about how our friend's search will continue.
Lulu knew I was in love with Snape, which is why she always introduced me to her ideas of boys.
She told me that she knew a nice muggle boy that I would absolutely love. Because he dresses in black and would probably hear Muggle metal and that sort of thing. I don't know all the details anymore because I'm not interested in that.
Most of the time I spent thinking about Severus. I know how gross or weird that must sound like. Still, I'm in love with an old man. I am simply fascinated by the fact that he must have a long life story. He's also bullying Potter and I hate this guy. I digress again but at this point there is nothing more interesting to tell.
The food wasn't particularly great because the other ravenclaws don't like me that much because I hang out with Luces, the slytherin.
We'll get the timetable tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to it.Crumb is now asleep and I think I'll do that too. Good night!
