Robin watched her best friend Nami thoughtfully as she poked at her now cold scrambled eggs, lost in thought. A sigh escaped the archaeologist, but this was skilfully ignored, although it was more because it went down because of the quarrels about the food. Luffy, mind you, with his mouth full, had set about eating the portions of Zorro and Chopper who were sitting next to him. Usopp had been able to prevent this by pouring a whole bottle of Tabasco on his egg. Only now he had the problem that he no longer liked it. Franky could enjoy his cool cola in peace, because he had stowed his bottles in his stomach area as a precaution. Brook, on the other hand, had finished his glass of milk and was defending his breakfast with the cutlery, while Robin didn't have to worry about it because Sanji was protecting hers. Although his attention was more focused on the black-haired woman, Robin could still see the sadness with which he looked at Nami. The archaeologist thought it was time to help Sanji, as the otherwise spirited navigator probably didn't want to intervene.
"Captain, it would be inappropriate to let your comrades starve to death before we have reached the next adventure," said Robin.
With the help of dozens of hands, she had succeeded in preventing Luffy from eating the rest of the breakfast.
"Do you think so?" Luffy asked innocently. "I didn't mean to. I'm so hungry!"
"We'll have a second for you in a moment," Sanji intervened, putting the wolverine a new portion of scrambled eggs on the plate.
"Thank you, Sanji!", The straw hat beamed and relaxed the mood a little.
"Nami, can I ask you now that the hustle and bustle has subsided, on which island we will be mooring soon?" Asked Robin and examined Nami carefully.
"According to my information we are heading for Sunset Island. This island has neither strong weather changes nor an unusual climate. The only strange thing should be the characters that are scattered all over the island," Nami replied mechanically, as if she had learned it by heart.
"Are the figures made of bronze? I've always wanted a bronze statue!" Luffy exclaimed enthusiastically.
"I think rather that these are made of gold."
A well-known twinkle penetrated Nami's eyes and Robin was sure that this wasn't a mask, but her friend as she is and is alive.
"As long as there are no beasts living there and we have to fight them, that's fine with me!" Usop admitted openly.
"Beasts or monsters, the main thing is that we have a new adventure!", Luffy said happily and put his fists in the air, ready to fight.
"Strong opponents are always a welcome change!" Agreed Zorro.
"When will you understand that there are other things besides fighting, eating and drinking that make life worth living?" Asked Sanji and drew on his cigarette, which he had just lit.
"You forgot the gold and the comforts that it brings with it," Nami said stiffly, without looking at the blonde chef.
"If that is your opinion, Nami, then you should reconsider that too," Sanji replied coolly. Robin raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"You have no idea! Think what you want!" Scolded the navigator and before slamming the door to the galley, she shouted: "I'm no longer hungry!"
"Does Nami have her days or why is she so angry? I want her pants," Brook began, but was pacified with a kick from Sanji.
"I'll check on her sometime."
Robin got up and left Sanji alone with the other boys.
Finding Nami by her orange trees wasn't particularly difficult.Robin didn't even have to use her devil powers, she knew that Nami always went to her beloved oranges first in such situations. Now she was sitting there with her arms crossed over her legs and her head resting on her knees. Almost like a porcelain doll that threatened to break at the slightest touch.
"Nami, how about you finally say what's going on!" Demanded Robin.
Only now did she notice the younger sobbing.
"You just don't understand!"
"Then explain it to me," said Robin, sat down next to Nami and waited.
"I don't want that, because it's none of your business!" She snapped.
"It's my business when I notice that my friends are doing badly. This is not just about you, Nami. Sanji has not fallen into his usual crush and that means a lot," Robin explained and waited Response from Nami.
The navigator winced briefly and sighed: "That should never have happened!"
"What do you mean?" Asked Robin curiously.
"Do you remember Paradise Island?" Nami stuttered uncertainly. "I had won a drinking competition against these muscle men and after that I ran into Sanji."
"Rob, Bob and Karl were really not thrilled that you ripped them off like that," smirked the archaeologist.
"I slept with Sanji!" Nami blurted out.
"You got what?" Robin was startled and stared at her.
"I slept with Sanji. I don't know how that happened either."
"There are the bees and the flowers ...", Robin started smiling.
"I already know how it works, Robin. I would never have told you!", Nami scolded and stood up indignantly.
"I didn't mean it like that." Robin also rose. "Do you love Sanji?"
Only now did Robin notice the tears of her friend, whose desperation was written on her face.
"I don't want that, I can't use something like that!" She scolded.
"The most wonderful thing you will ever learn is to love and be loved again."
Moulin Rouge
Nami shook his head negatively and whispered, "You know Sanji. I don't think he could manage to have just one relationship."
"Didn't you guys talk about it?"
"How then? I avoid him. I was probably just a conquest for him anyway. Why should I still have hopes? Has he seriously confessed his love to me all the time?"
"Maybe he didn't want to tell you because he knows how negatively you think of him," Robin countered.
"What other choice do I have?"
"Why don't you try to talk to him?"
"That doesn't help!", Nami huffed and crossed his arms.
"If you approach the situation like that, it will probably never be resolved with you two," sighed Robin. "But you should keep in mind that you are not only jeopardizing your friendship, but also the safety of the entire team."
Zorro yawned and looked out of the lookout. He had long since finished his training and was tasked with keeping an eye out for Sunset Island. According to Nami's calculations, they should reach the island soon. After a while the swordsman could see something on the far horizon, despite the increasing darkness. Zorro grinned satisfied, but he was looking forward to the next opponent, in which he had to prove his strength again. He just hoped that not everyone had to go on a treasure hunt if these golden statues were really going to exist. The best thing to do is to let the others know immediately. Without further ado, Zorro jumped down from the crow's nest. He didn't feel like using the ladder and asked Nami, who just came out on deck: "Hey, Nami, I saw the mainland on the horizon.Looks like we can still reach Sunset Island today. "
"That's great, one day earlier than planned!" Says Nami happily. "However, I don't want to go any further in the dark. Some reefs are shown on the map. I don't want to risk that."
"Fine, then I'll take on the night shift", Zorro nodded.
"Indeed?", Nami questioned and raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, out of gratitude you could cancel my debts!" The swordsman grinned menacingly at her.
"I'll think about it," Nami snapped back and went into the woman's room.
When Nami opened the door, she was surprised that Robin wasn't there yet. Apparently she wanted to spend the night in the library again, but that should be her right. After all, she didn't feel like talking again. Nami put on her nightgown, she didn't need to take a shower anymore, she had already done that. Actually, she had just gone on deck earlier to assign Zorro to the night watch. But that was now done. Maybe she should really deduct some of his debt from him. Hundred berries, maybe. The navigator snuggled into the blanket and hoped for a restful sleep full of gold and jewels.
[i]Frustrated, Nami scrubbed the floorboards, but they still remained musty and gray. The dirt never seemed to want to come off again. But what did she ask of this shabby piss putt? Why did she choose Sanji the fisherman as her husband in the first place? Could it not have been a prince? She would have looked like a queen! Instead, she lived here, on an empty stomach and secluded from the world and its treasures.
Annoyed, Nami threw down the rancid rag. Fortunately, Sanji had gone fishing so that they would have anything in their stomachs at all. All of a sudden the door slammed open and her husband stormed in.
"You can't imagine what I caught today!" He said excitedly and put his fishing gear in the corner.
Nami looked at him questioningly and realized that it was late afternoon because Sanji hadn't closed the door tightly enough.
"What did you catch?" She asked, hoping it would fill their stomachs.
"A flounder, but not an ordinary one! He spoke to me and said that he was an enchanted prince and that I should release him again!"
"Hopefully you didn't? Because just because you hear strange voices doesn't mean the fish spoke."
"I gave him his freedom", Sanji finished his story and earned a bad look from Nami.
"You gave him freedom and didn't ask anything in return? How stupid can you be! Go back again and call the fish so that he'll give us at least a little hut as a reward for his freedom. Because if he's an enchanted prince, should this be a minor matter for him! "
Irritated, Sanji left home and did what Nami told him to do. That was what she liked about him.
Suddenly the young woman felt a tingling sensation on her skin and her shabby dress, which was more like a scrap of cloth, turned into a yellow peasant dress with a brown corset. These new clothes showed off her curves well. Suddenly the little shabby piss putt began to shake and wobble, so
