Part 17

The opponents eyed each other with a steady gaze. Everyone assess their chances.
Andra's gaze shifted tensely between the Saiya-jin and the cyborg. Even she couldn't say who would ultimately win. Either Goku, through a brilliantly threaded trick, or C 18, which had a significantly longer endurance thanks to its energy source.
As soon as the referee released the ring, both opponents had disappeared. Only now and then did battle noises and flashes of light give an idea of where the two were.
The five remaining fighters tried hard to watch the fight in the hall. However, Aira and Galadriel soon gave up. Grumbling, you can hardly see anything, they withdrew to the back of the hall.Andra tried anxiously to follow the movements of the fighters. But she too soon had to realize that she was still a long way from chasing the fighters at the speed at which they were moving here. Andra only caught a glimpse here and there with difficulty. But otherwise she saw nothing either.
A small treacherous smile graced her mouth while she tried to catch a glimpse.

Vegeta showed little interest in this fight, to say the least. Only his 'intimate enemy' was his focus.

After a good quarter of an hour, Son-Goku managed to get 18C into the grass next to the ring. Breathing heavily, he stood on the edge and looked down at his opponent.
Her impact had left a small crater in the sward, so much power and momentum Goku had been able to give her.
He had won the victory on the one hand through a little carelessness from her, on the other hand thanks to his experience and a cleverly designed trick. With a skillful grip, Goku helped her back on her feet.

Astonishment and amazement left the audience silent.
After a few moments of silence, the moderator yelled "Uuand the winner is SON-GOKUUU!". Shrill whistles and cheers woke the audience out of their stupor. ...

After the last two quarter-final fights, which had been very successful for Vegeta and Andra, there was a break.
Most fighters used this for various things, such as (fr) eating in Goku's and Vegeta's trap.
Those present, who were not used to this spectacle, got the famous, notorious stalked eyes. As quickly as the two Saiya-jin emptied their bowls, the servants couldn't keep up with new dishes. In the end, there was a whole mountain of dishes and a few groaning waiters.

Andra retired to one of the many rooms. The servants who brought her the ordered food were no less astonished at how much the girl stuffed into herself. However, she only needed half as much as Goku and ate far more politely than the named person.
After a little nap, she read her letter to heart.
She had left the document in her room before the tournament.
"Oh *****!" she realized with horror that she had completely mixed up the data! She hurriedly pulled out an electronic atlas and this time typed in the coordinates correctly. It turned out that the battlefield was not the arena of the big tournament, but the area where Cell had played his games at that time. The time wasn't right either; instead of 5 p.m. it was 11 a.m.
She was about to sprint to find Piccolo when a flash of light filled the room.
Andra was thrown to the ground, blinded.
When she could see something again, a man in white robes stood in front of her. With a dexterous grip he helped the confused girl back on her feet. ...

The lunch break was over. The four finalists had gathered again in the hall and were waiting for the first final fight.
The only female participant left stood at the gate and scanned the stands. There was an inner tension in her gaze.
Her closest opponent gave her a disparaging look. Even if she had a lot on the box and almost as fast as he was in his first stage of transformation, the little one should hardly have any chance.
Lüze'um thought similarly about Son Goku. But it would show who was really the strongest.
Andra didn't care what her competition thought, nor did she care what chances she had against it. Concentrated, she searched the stands. If these bursa of demons had sat down next to their two protégés again, there would be very great trouble for Lüze'um. These guys had actually dared to falsify the data in their letter. It almost got her to 180.And this pack was really annoying her now.
But unfortunately she couldn't help it anymore. Only one thing was certain, the newly worked out plan had to work. Otherwise she saw black for her earth. Fortunately, the incorrect data had been corrected again and new instructions had been given by God.
The moderator's call drew their attention back to the arena.
Since she was standing at the entrance, the next two fighters had to pass her.
Lüze'um strode past her somewhat arrogantly to the arena. However, he only got a nasty grin from Andra.
Son-Goku was a bit clumsy on the way to the ring: he almost stumbled over the sign in the entrance.
His counterpart wore the nastiest grin it could offer. Lüze'um could easily deal with this mickerling.

"You are guaranteed not to be able to finish with the battle bolt!" Andra whispered softly and giggled maliciously. It bordered on glee when Andra imagined how Lü'zeum would lose. She did not care about her own struggle. If she lost, there was always an escape plan. A stalemate could actually be fine with her. It made her job a lot easier, even if it would require a lot more strength.
Vegeta looked at her in confusion from beneath his furrowed eyebrows. It wasn't clear to him who the little one was talking about, Kakarott or this colossal vampire blend? And that mean grin on her face didn't seem to bode well.

Meanwhile, the first two semi-finalists got ready to fight in the arena.
With a sneaky grin, Lüze'um slipped over to Son Goku. He would process this 'linnet' into goulash so thoroughly that not even a grain of dust remained.
Goku looked up with a slight discomfort. On the one hand he was uncomfortable with this guy, on the other hand he was happy to get a real fight again. Whatever this guy was, he was guaranteed not to be human, despite his looks. The ring has been released.

Like two hungry wolves, they began to circle around each other, only to suddenly pounce on each other. ...

Real world, Vegeta-sei, throne room

He paced restlessly up and down. The last few hours dragged on as tough as rubber. What if it failed? ... Would her companions be able to keep the danger away from her? Lost in thought, he sat down on the throne.
“Are you worried again?” The soft voice of his wife awakened him from his stupor.
A low murmur that means "yes." meant came in response.
“It will be fine.” The words sounded convinced, but there was still a bit of uncertainty. ...

The fight was in full swing. Nobody, not even the best fighters on earth, could follow the two properly.
The pace they set was far too fast.
Andra really struggled to follow the action. Lü'zeum was good; even very good! She would never have given the demon so much maneuverability. Son-Goku was having a lot of trouble. For the most part, however, it was due to the nasty tricks Lü'zeum used.
Suddenly both fighters disappeared again. The blows and fighting noises echoed eerily from the stands. Out of the blue something crashed into the fighting ring. The crater it left was soon half the diameter of the ring. The figure in the crater rose with difficulty. Visibly battered, he held his right shoulder.

Andra was trembling noticeably. That couldn't be true! That couldn't happen. Fear and hatred twisted her face in equal measure. It was getting harder and harder to keep herself under control.
Her aura seemed even darker to Vegeta than usual. Kakarott was also slowly worrying him. How could the strongest (lower-class) warrior in the world allow himself to be beaten up in this way. As the prince of the Saiya-jin, only he had the right to do this to Kakarott. He looked slightly contemptuous at Son Goku.

A malicious laugh drew everyone's attention up.There, in the air, was Lü'zeum. Triumphantly, he cast a mean look down at Goku. That was easier than expected. Now all he had to do was finish off this rat. 'Too bad I can't kill him! Surely would have given a morz fun. ' he thought and slowly lowered himself to Goku.

Goku fixed his opponent. He really had what it takes. But the victory was far from his! Now it would really start, because giving up was not an option for the strong Saiya-jin. Besides, this was just a test. Goku grinned at the demon belligerently. It was going to be interesting.
The girl's aura briefly distracted him. She seemed visibly concerned. As if his fall had just terrified her. Well, maybe he could go up against her too. However, the audience was noticeably calm, somehow too calm.
"Now watch what I'm going to do with you!"
Lü'zeum's call turned his gaze forward again.Son-Goku stared at his counterpart in horror. Lü'zeum held a ball of energy in his hand that had enough power to destroy the whole stadium, including all people present. But the bastard didn't seem to care. "Hiiiiyyyyaaa" with this cry, Lü'zeum smash the ball on Goku ....

Yaka and Rey cried out in horror. That couldn't be true. The princess had to do something!

Vegeta growled angrily. Why was this lower-class warrior son doing nothing? He just stared contemptuously at the scenario.

Lüze'um was already laughing maliciously in anticipation. Soon this stadium would no longer exist with its enemy. How brilliant he was. You could break a contract, even a pack. For humans, the pack was indispensably binding, but for demons it was only a means to an end, they only had to adhere to it in the early days to keep humans safe.

Everyone already
