Chapter: Part 19 - Epilogue

Part 19 epilogue

The remains of a long-forgotten planet floated sparkling in the shine of its star. No spaceship had visited the system in a long time. The astronomers of other races had also banned this star from their minds. On the space maps, the bright star was only shown as a point without a name.
It was precisely this star that gave its light to a strange scenario. The ruins of the past still lay there; untouched for years, they slumbered to themselves.
A tiny point of light suddenly appeared between all the dust.
Far off, a small ball of pure energy approached, enough to destroy a planet. The projectile plunged noiselessly into the meteorite belt.
The rubble was quietly destroyed in the inferno that followed.
The explosion was vertical to the orbits in the solar system.
Slowly the molten remnants of the planet condensed again. First, a small, hot ball of magma formed. Slowly it gained more and more mass until it was finally a little bigger than the earth.Part of the ball came off and formed a moon. Its surface was marked by craters and cooled lava lakes.
The rest of the magma ball froze to stone on the surface. Wafer-thin plates were formed and pushed up at the edges to form grandiose mountains and mountain ranges. New springs, rivers and lakes emerged.
You could really see how new life was emerging from the ground. Within a very short time, lush vegetation covered the planet. Cities grew out of nowhere.
Then everything seemed complete. The planet was just as it was about 50 years ago before its annihilation.
Unobserved, the planet returned to its usual path. The hustle and bustle on the surface continued as usual, as if the annihilation had never happened.

The long beeping of the machine let Andra wake up from her coma. First she waved her arms around, disoriented, until she knew where she was again.
A look through the thick armored glass of the chasuble showed her the same planet on which her adventure had started. She looked wistfully at the red ball in space. 'Now you are finally homeless.' it came up in her. No, she couldn't let that happen at all. Andra quickly banished the rising feelings in the farthest corner of her heart. Vegeta-sei was her new home now. A return to earth was out of the question for the time being.

The space capsule touched down with a hard jerk. The ground crew immediately rushed to the landing site and helped the tired girl to her feet.
Yaka were standing a bit apart and didn't see any better, either. The whole action had cost her courage, strength and nerves. “Come on, let's go to the palace.” The girls were only too happy to answer her call. They took off together and flew the usual route to the palace.
Inwardly, Andra felt empty and exhausted. Homeless and deeply sad in her heart, she wept silent tears. ...

A few weeks after the tournament:

Vegeta thoughtfully turned the little piece of jewelry between his fingers. He knew the symbol engraved on it all too well. The anchor stood for his family and the stylized sun on the back for the planet.
But where did this warrior get it from? Vegeta-sei had long gone under. It could only have got to her through the black market. Surely one of Freezer's henchmen had his little sister on the conscience for it. The prince clenched his fist angrily.
The loss of his family has deeply affected him over the years. Not even Kakarott, who had at least a rudimentary father substitute, could understand him.
Tracking down the warrior in space was more like looking for the famous needle in a haystack, as people put it so beautifully.
Vegeta got up with a jerk and hid the medallion with his other, few memorabilia.
But in his heart he knew that he had met this strange woman somewhere. He just couldn't assign it yet. "I swear one thing to you. I'll find out." spook Vegeta in her mind at the woman.Bulma's call for lunch brought the Saiya-jin prince back to reality ....

Goku sat thoughtfully at the dining table and just poked around in his rice bowl. With an incredulous grin, he shook the thought off. 'No this can not be. Their auras and their stature alone were too different. '
His thoughts continued to revolve around the two ladies from the tournament days.
He had been very sympathetic to Lydia Hagen. But where do girls go after the award ceremony. As soon as her money was picked up, she disappeared without a trace.
The tall Saiya-jin didn't know what to do with the blonde warrior either. What was the aim of this woman? Her strange behavior still puzzled him.
It's good that Chichi wasn't there. Surely she would only have worried about the look on his face. A smile crossed Goku's mouth. His wife was just a sweetheart, even if her beastly demeanor annoyed him at times. ...-----

real world, several months later

Laughing, Jean let Enrico whirl him around. This was her happiest day in her whole life. The couple celebrated their marriage exuberantly to the cheers of the guests.
Only a small point clouded the joy. Enrico would have loved to have his "big sister" with him.
But thanks to her, they were able to celebrate that day in the first place. They owed Lydias Ofper not only their acquaintance, but also their lives.
Only the Yokima family would pass on the story of the cursed girl who gave her freedom to save two completely different worlds.
