Vegeta must have fell asleep under 1000 times the force of gravity, especially now that Master Quince ran out of magic beans.

Vegeta had to go to a human hospital ("I'm a Saiyan prince. I won't go in there.")

Since Vegeta had broken everything he had no choice. "At least rest a bit" thought Vegeta as he lay in his hospital bed. "Hello Vegeta old buddy", Vegeta suddenly heard a familiar voice call out. "No, not you Kakarrot." Yes Son-Goku also had an accident (arguing with Chichi) and he (luckily) got the bed right next to Vegeta.
