Part 12 The last chance

Belonga and Conny tried to gain the upper hand and released more and more strength. "This is for Jack." Conny's last thought gave her the strength she needed to finally defeat the demon. Belonga slowly dissolved into thin air so that he could not regenerate. The light disappeared and only Conny remained. Buffy and the others came running towards them. Soleil will no longer fulfill this wish. Goodbye," Conny managed with the last of his strength. A smile crossed her lips and her head fell to one side. Buffy bowed her head. "She sacrificed herself to save the world. And now? Not even a small thank you, from higher powers that make an exception! That's just not fair," thought Buffy as more and more tears ran down her face.Soleil emitted energy one last time. Angel, Jack, and everyone else Belonga killed were resurrected, albeit as vampires, by the power of Soleil. Except Conny. When Jack found out what had happened in the meantime, he could no longer control his anger. He tried to get away from this terrible place as fast as he could, near the cave he found a ledge on which he sat down. He sat down slowly and put his hands in front of his face.

"Don't be sad Buffy. There is still a possibility to help Conny. We use the Dragon Balls," said SonGoku encouragingly. "I just hope this is doing the right thing for me, too," Buffy added before finding herself in Dende's palace.

"What do we do with the second wish?" Piccolo wanted to know. "Can you turn vampires into people with the dragon balls?" Buffy asked. Nobody knew an answer, so they decided to call Shenlong first."Shenlong can you transform the vampires into people who died by Belonga?" "Your wish is granted," answered the divine dragon, "now tell me your second wish." "Bring Conny back to life." Shenlong fulfilled this one too, before he disappeared again.

Conny opened her eyes sleepily. "Why did you revive me?" was her first question, "I would have thought it was finally over." Buffy wanted to rub her one, Conny prevented the blow. "I should have guessed it right away. You don't want to go on living, that's why Soleil didn't bring you back to life." "Well recognized, Buffy." "Jack is human again." The next day Conny, Buffy, Angel and Jack said goodbye. "Maybe we'll see each other again someday," Conny called to the Z-Fighters before she disappeared into the portal.
