Chapter: Bra's life (part 7)

Bra: "Um, yes, but ..."

Vegeta: "Should I call you that too?"

Bra: "Huh?"
<br />
Vegeta grinned.
<br />
Vegeta: "You wouldn't have expected that from me now would you?"
<br />
Bra: "No, I wouldn't have."
<br />
Vegeta: "I won't call you that either, and neither will Goten."
<br />
Bra: "I want to say that all the time."
<br />
Vegeta: "So, I thought he was your friend."
<br />
Bra: "Please? No, no. I'll play with him a little."
<br />
Vegeta: "Oh, that's it."
<br />
Bra: "Yes."
<br />
Vegeta: "I like you better and better."
<br />
Bra: "How?"
<br />
Vegeta put two of his fingers under Bra's chin, lifted it, and kissed her. Bra couldn't quite believe he was doing that. She enjoyed it, and so did Vegeta. Suddenly a voice rang out: "Father?"

Both jerked away from each other.
<br />
Vegeta: "I'm here Trunks."
<br />
Bra's face rose to blush.
<br />
Vegeta: "So choose something nice to wear tomorrow and if you don't find anything let me know, we'll go to town tomorrow morning to buy you something."<br />
Bra: "Okay."
<br />
Vegeta left Bra's room. When Vegeta was out of her room, Bra collapsed onto her bed. She thought about the kiss and fell asleep a little later.

Bra woke up very late the next morning. She went to wash up, got dressed and finally went into the kitchen. Bulma sat there and had a coffee.
<br />
Bulma: "I'm not used to you getting up so late."
<br />
Bra: "Hm ..."
<br />
Bulma: "Very talkative."
<br />
Bra said nothing to that. Vegeta came into the kitchen.
<br />
Vegeta: "And did you find something nice?"
<br />
Bra: "Yes, should I show you?"
<br />
Vegeta: "Yes, do that."
<br />
They both left the kitchen and went to Bra's room. There Bra went to her bathroom and changed.
<br />
Bra: "And how do you like it?"
<br />
Vegeta: "Very good. Looks great on you."
<br />
Bra: "Thank you."
<br />
There was silence for a while, but then ...
<br />
Bra: "Papa, um ..."
<br />
Vegeta: "Yeah?"
<br />
Bra: "Tell me why did you kiss me yesterday?"<br />
Vegeta: "Oh yeah."
<br />
Bra: "Hm, if that is the case."
<br />
Vegeta: "Bra, you are my daughter, it doesn't work, even if I like you very much."
<br />
Bra: "Yes, I understand that, but why are you making it so difficult for me then?"

Bra and Vegeta went towards the gravity room, they ran into Trunks.

Bra: "Hi, are you coming?"

Trunks: "Where to?"

Vegeta: "Into the gravity room."
<br />
Trunks: "Yeah, sure."
<br />
All three went into the gravity room and did some warm-up exercises. Vegeta said Bra and Trunks should fight first. Then came a voice: "Bra? Could you come please? Telephone for you."

Bra: "Yes, grandma. I'm coming!"
<br />
Vegeta: "Does she always have to be annoying?"
<br />
Bra: "You fight already, I'll hurry too."
<br />
Trunks: "Then I'll win."
<br />Vegeta: "Only you believe that."
<br />
Bra went out of the gravity room. Trunks and Vegeta took up fighting stances and began to fight. In the kitchen:

Bra: "Yes, hello?"
<br />
Voice: "Hi Bra!"
<br />
Bra: "Who's there?"
<br />
Voice: "It's me."
<br />
Bra: "I'm sorry, but who are you?"
<br />
Voice: "It's Videl."
<br />
Bra: "Sorry that I didn't recognize you right away."
<br />
Videl: "It's okay, tell me is Pan with you?"
<br />
Bra: "No, it isn't, why?"
<br />
Videl: "Not? Well, she disappeared without a trace. Gohan says her aura cannot be found either."
