yelled at Gohan. "Are you finally going to help me up?"

"Uh, yes!" Said Gohan and walked up to him and helped him up. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Almost!" Replied Dr. Briefs. Gohan was now very close to him, on the edge of the ring. He took advantage of that and quickly pushed Gohan out of the ring with his elbow.
<br />
<br />
Gohan hadn't expected this as he thought Dr. Briefs was really having problems and wouldn't be able to fight anymore anyway.
<br />
<br />
The audience was amazed.
<br />
<br />
"Hey, that was unfair!"one shouted.
<br />
<br />
"Exactly, something mean!"
<br />
<br />
Son-Goten couldn't believe what he was seeing. But there was nothing he could do, Mr. Hisahara nodded to him, which should mean that the winner was certain. "That makes Dr. Briefs the winner!" Said Goten.

<br />
Gohan was really angry now that Dr. Briefs had taken advantage of him. "That was really mean! But you won't get away with it in the next fight, nobody will fall for your trick a second time!" He looked at his little brother.

<br />
"There is nothing I can do, Gohan! The rules say that it is allowed, as it is supposedly your own fault if you become reckless!"
<br />
<br />
"I wasn't at all! I just assumed that Dr. Briefs was really in incredible pain!"
<br />
<br />
"I'm sorry, I'm a referee, but I can't change the rules!"
<br />
<br />
Gohan had to put up with it.
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />Bulma suddenly ran out of the crowd and Trunks followed her right away. "Father, what was this act about! Do you know how embarrassing that was ?! Besides, it was unfair!"
<br />
<br />
"After all, you have to give the audience a show, otherwise the fight will be too boring and besides, I would have won anyway!" Said Dr. Briefs, although he wasn't so sure about it.
<br />

Gohan had turned away from everyone, he didn't want anyone to see his anger. Suddenly he heard steps behind him. He turned and, to his surprise, saw Vegeta.

"That you fell for something like that! I would have done it immediately. I would have expected more from you! At least I know that the final with you wouldn't have been more exciting either!"
<br />
<br />
"That has nothing to do with fighting! Of course I would have won if Dr. Briefs had fought honestly. He probably doesn't understand anything about fairness!"<br />
<br />
"You were just too kind, I wouldn't care about his back problems!"
<br />
<br />
Gohan Vegeta believed that and he resolved not to be so naive anymore.
<br />

Bulma, meanwhile, had a serious word with her father until he promised not to put on any more show in the next fight.
<br />
<br />
"I'd like you to stop all the fighting, but at least that's something!" She said.
<br />
<br />
Then suddenly Marron appeared. She had a very evil look and in her hand she was holding the magic potion that she had snatched.
<br />
<br />
"What's going on all of a sudden, Marron?" Asked Kuririn worriedly.
<br />
<br />
She saw Dr. Letters to. "You didn't stick to what we had agreed at all, and you promised me to give up!" She grumbled.
<br />
<br />
"Wait a minute, I made no promises," tried Dr. Letter to contradict Marron.<br />
<br />
"Yes, you have!"
<br />
<br />
"Besides, I didn't even use the power from the potion!" He defended himself.
<br />
<br />
"But that's probably the height! Instead, you pretend to be in pain and you think that's okay?"
<br />
<br />
He did not say anything.
<br />
<br />
"And without the potion you wouldn't even have been fast enough to avoid Gohan's first blow! He would have swept you out of the ring immediately, don't you think?"
<br />
<br />
Again he didn't answer, knowing that Marron was right.
<br />
<br />
"But now it's finally over! Look what I'm holding in my hand!", She said and held up the hand with the magic potion.
<br />
<br />
Bulma and the others didn't understand anything anymore.
<br />
<br />
In the meantime, Gohan and Vegeta had turned to them again.
<br />
<br />
Marron opened the bottle and turned it over so the liquid spilled onto the floor.
<br />
<br />
"No, my magic potion!"wailed Dr. Briefs.
<br />
<br />
Marron smiled. "Let's just hope that the effects will soon end!"
<br />
<br />
"Honey, what were you doing there?" Asked C18 her daughter.
<br />
<br />
She explained the history of the magic potion to everyone and that Dr. Brief had only won because otherwise he would have been thrown out of the ring by the first blow from Gohan.
<br />
<br />
Gohan didn't like it at all, but he didn't let it show because it was too late for that anyway and the bottle was now empty.
<br />
<br />
"I wanted to win that too, that's why I signed up for the tournament," explained Maron with a sad look, as she very much regretted having only made it through the preliminary rounds. "But I saw my mistake!"
<br />
<br />
Kuririn took Marron in his arms. "We will train you until you are as strong as me, then you no longer need to use any potions!"
<br />
<br />
"But I want to be as strong as Mommy!"said Marron, satisfied.
<br />
<br />
"Then just as strong as mom!", Kuririn said offended, which he only pretended to be.
<br />
<br />
Now they laughed and briefly stopped thinking of Dr. Briefs.
<br />
<br />
"But where did he get the magic potion from?" Asked Yamcha.
<br />
<br />
"I don't know either, he didn't tell me," said Marron.
<br />
<br />
"You know what?" He asked Bulma now.
<br />
<br />
"No, unfortunately not! I also don't know when he should have made something like that!"
<br />
<br />
"He said he got it as a present," Marron now recalled.
<br />
<br />
"The other day he went on a trip with my mother, I don't know where you've got to!" Said Bulma.
<br />
<br />
"That would be a possibility!" Said Kuririn.
<br />
<br />
"Where did you get the potion from?", Bulma asked her father.
<br />
<br />
"Secret!" He replied.
<br />

"It was clear ..."
<br />

"And how long does the power last?"asked Videl, who had overheard the conversation.
<br />

"Yes, how long?" Eraser wanted to know too. "Videl or I have to fight him next."
<br />
<br />
"I don't know! He didn't even know himself," said Marron.
<br />
<br />
"Then we can only hope ..." said Videl.
<br />
<br />
"Now it has to go on! Sit back on your seats!" Said Goten to Trunks and Bulma.
<br />
<br />
"Let's do it! See you later!" Said Trunks.
<br />
<br />
"Now it's my turn!" Said Videl. "Are you cheering me on too, Gohan?"
<br />
<br />
"Yes of course, Videl!"
<br />
<br />
"No, Gohan has to cheer me on!" Said Eraser.
<br />
<br />
"Of course I'm cheering you on too!" Said Gohan and hoped that they would calm down now.
<br />
<br />
"You should only be cheering whoever you think should win," said Eraser.
<br />
<br />
He was pretty sure Videl would win and he wanted her to win too, since he liked her better.If he did tell Eraser that, though, she'd be offended. "I'm cheering you both on," he said.
<br />
<br />
Videl knew he was on their side because they were much more in touch.
<br />
<br />
"Now I ask Videl and Eraser into the ring!" Said Goten.
<br />
<br />
"Come on, Videl!" She asked Eraser.
<br />
<br />
"Yes, soon!"
<br />
<br />
"Good luck, Videl!" Whispered Gohan in her ear.
<br />
<br />
"Thank you! I'll do my best!"
<br />
<br />

In the meantime they were both in the ring and the fight could begin.
<br />

"Ring free!" Shouted Goten.
<br />
<br />
Videl went straight into combat position, as did Eraser.
<br />
<br />
Then Eraser attacked Videl, but she could avoid any of her blows, but then Videl did not pay attention for a moment and Eraser hit her with one blow against the wall.
<br />
<br />
But Videl got up again immediately. "That wasn't bad at all, Eraser, but I'll beat you!", she said.
<br />
<br />
Videl attacked Eraser.

<br />
She was able to block the first blows from Videl. But then Eraser neglected her cover a bit and Videl took advantage of that for the next attack. Eraser had to take a beating now. "I'm not giving up!" Eraser yelled at Videl. However, she did not meet Videl very often, because she was able to block almost all of her blows.

Ten minutes later, Videl managed to knock Eraser out of the ring with a hard punch in the stomach.

<br />
"The winner is Videl!" Announced Son-Goten.
<br />
<br />
Videl walked up to Eraser and helped her up. "You weren't bad at all, Eraser," she said.
<br />
<br />
"I know, but I'll never be as good as you! You can fight Dr. Briefs next," said Eraser.
<br />
<br />
"Yes, I just hope that the potion has lost its effect by then, otherwise I could lose against him!"<br />
<br />
"You were great, Videl!" Praised Gohan.
<br />
<br />
"Let's continue right away," said Son-Goten. "Here comes the most exciting fight of the last sixteen! Vegeta and C16 in the fight ring!"
<br />

"The most exciting fight?" Asked some people in the audience.
<br />
<br />
"But Mister Satan is also fighting, this fight is definitely much more exciting than this!"
<br />

"I think yes, Vegeta will win the tournament, nobody can beat him! Except of course me, if I had participated! Ha, ha!", Son-Goten continued.

"What's that gossip about? Why are you showing off like that, Son-Goten?" His brother yelled at him.

“Nobody believes me anyway!” Then he turned back to the audience. "As I said, we can be excited to see what the strongest fighter of this tournament has to offer!"
