Chapter: Without you

Hatta times fancy a poem-like text ^^
Some immediately projected it onto myself, although I had written it based on a story.

Without you

You gave yourself to me.
You said you love me

How could that be?
It was just all appearances!

You turned your back on this world.
This is wrong for me.

Couldn't I give you anything?
Not a little bit
anything to go on?

Only there in the corner on the shelf
standing in the pale light,
framed your beautiful face.

The only one, the last.
Besides the smell of you
distributed to me,
in your sweater
in my hair.

I still ask: How could that be?

You never really felt that way
always writhing in the pain of your past.

But you tried.
That’s enough for me.
Loving back doesn't just happen.

I don't blame you
was it just my impatience?
I know now.
I will do something too.We'll meet again.
Sometime when I've lived my life.
