Chapter III (actually the 4th chapter)

So Krad had destroyed a fake, but where is the original?
... When Dark had dropped the two girls downstairs, he saw mother, Kosuke, grandfather and little Towa (the orphan who can track down objects). He asked Towa to find the real work of art "Eternal Struggle" when Krad attacked again. But Dark resisted and waited for Towa's information. Finally she shouted: "The original work> Ewiger Kampf <is in a holy shrine in ..."
Dark: "Where?"
Towa: "... I only see it very blurred, but ... but it seems to be in the National Museum."
Dark immediately moved away from the radio tower to avoid further innocent victims and tried to leave Krad behind - but to no avail.
He finally arrived at the shrine in the museum, but slowly the traces of the curse became clearer.During his flight over Tokyo, he noticed people's sharp fluctuations between good and bad. But he did not only notice this in humans. His wings were colored partly white and Krad’s wings partly black.
With a wave of his hand he quickly destroyed the shrine and there it was the real painting "Eternal Struggle" - it was floating. Black and white lightning flashed from the painting. Suddenly Krad hovered between him and the painting. Now both of them realized the extent of the curse ... Dark had white wings and white hair / Krad had black hair and black wings. They started again the timeless fight between good and bad, because eternal fight between Krad and Dark, angel against demon, Niwa against Hikari, but their roles seem to be reversed.
They were equal and if they had unlimited energy, the fight would last forever, but with every attack they became weaker. Neither of them gave in and so they fought on ... if necessary to the bitter end, until one of them is defeated!Kosuke, Emiko and grandfather had also arrived in the meantime and saw the terrible fight that could not produce a winner, only losers.
Kosuke was neither a Niwa nor a Hikari, but he still knew a way out or at least had a guess. He was considering an ancient prophecy, but this path was risky and the odds slim - maybe it would mean the end of Dark and Krad. An unparalleled risk.
A few days ago Kosuke found a brooch in the Niwas' "treasure trove" with a yin-yang symbol on it, which however disappeared. In his research he came across something unbelievable ... But first he asked Towa to get this brooch as quickly as possible. So while Towa was on his way, Emiko and grandfather tried to contain the curse and tried to build a temporary seal. It succeeded! Now Dark and Krad were caught in a spell in which they now fought exuberantly and without mercy.Nobody gave his opponent the slightest chance of an advantage. Everyone fought with maximum strength and magic, even though it meant severe consequences for the host bodies. But not only Dark was struck by the broken leg, because Krad was also slightly at a disadvantage due to a wounded wing, so this also compensated for himself. Arch-rivals, the embodiment of good and bad, of yin and yang, of light and dark, of white and black, fought against each other. Mercilessly, Krad and Dark attacked each other again and again and confirmed the prophecy of eternal struggle, as Kosuke interpreted these lines:

> Darkness and light in eternal struggle
Light and darkness in eternal harmony
White and black wings
won't bring the end
but start what will never end.
To find harmony in the eternal struggle
Is the key the art of connecting two <

Kosuke explains: "Dark with its black wings actually stands for darkness and Krad with its white wings, on the other hand, for light. But the original order is broken: You have changed the colors, i.e. the roles, that can only mean that the dark power of Krad has taken possession. But Dark, guided by the power of love, based on his love for Risa and Daisuke's love for Riku, has now taken on the part of light.
Two works from two different family clans. <Eternal Fight> was ended by Rio Hikari. At first it was called <Eternal Harmony> and was started by a man of the Niwa clan, with whom Rio fell madly in love (not grandfather, so not Dark, but his brother Kard). Thus, this work of art is the art of two families, but the brooch that Towa gets was not created by the Hikaris alone, but a hundred years ago there was a case similar to the painting "Eternal Struggle". This yin-yang brooch is also the art of two families. The Yin-Yang sign also has two sides, namely black and white and the circular shape stands for eternity. In the frame of the painting there is space for exactly this brooch and so the art of two is united and eventually a solution is found in the eternal struggle between Dark and Motorbike - maybe harmony. "

> The united work of art <(actually the 5th chapter)

Then finally Little Towa came with the brooch. Kosuke took it without saying thank you and ran towards the spell circle. Emiko screamed after him if he was crazy, but Kosuke had taken precautions and put a protective ring on his ring finger and dropped the wedding ring. Horrified, Emiko saw the wedding ring fall into the mud, but understood the seriousness of the situation and did not stop Kosuke.
This entered the spell without difficulty and tried to approach the center. But the ring didn't protect him against the curse and so he was constantly torn between good and bad thoughts. But he proved mental strength and in his deepest innermost the wish prevailed to put an end to the two arch enemies and their eternal struggle. But two meters from the painting he fell on his knees and grabbed his head with both hands. His skull seemed to burst and, bowed down, he screamed in pain. He reared up, but then broke down groaning and in excruciating pain ... his mind was too weak against a powerful curse of the Hikaris, in which even strong feelings of a lost love were reflected. Kosuke was just a normal person, albeit with an unusually strong chi.
Emiko couldn't hold out any longer when she saw her husband go down. But grandfather grabbed her arm and asked her to take something with her. He put a necklace on her to protect her against the curse. Entering her own spell, she hurried anxiously in Kosuke's direction. But she felt the effects of the curse on her mind, despite the necklace. But she was a real Niwa and defied this power with a strong spirit, perhaps longer than her beloved husband. Finally she reached Kosuke and found him almost unconscious. She spoke to him - no answer or even the slightest reaction. But he was still breathing and so she did not give up hope. She knelt down, lifted his upper body, bent down and tenderly gave him a sensual kiss on his already blue lips. Tears ran down her cheek and wet his forehead - as if by a miracle he suddenly opened his eyes. Emiko's presence had brought his soul back and now gave him new life force. He pulled himself up to give her the brooch. Emiko took off her chain and hung it around his neck. Then she helped him get up. She said encouragingly: "We'll do this together! Come just two meters. You can do it - we can do it together. Please, don't give up now ..." And he actually managed to get up again. Now they fought their way forward bit by bit and when they stood in front of the painting they saw the real battle on the painting.Kosuke said: "There you see! The picture is like a mirror for the fight that Dark and Krad are fighting. Quickly the brooch!" With Emiko's help, he led the brooch to the desired vacancy in the painting. Once more both looked up to where Dark and Krad were still fighting their merciless, brutal, hard-hearted fight.
Together they put the brooch in the frame of the painting. Suddenly the painting started to glow white, but on the other hand it also began to absorb all light. A pressure wave hurled Emiko and Kosuke far away from the painting and leveled a circular area with an enormous radius. Towa and grandfather ran horrified to the two of them. Badly injured and covered in blood, they found Emiko and Kosuke under a cherry tree. The tree's blossoms bloomed, but immediately faded again. Everything in the vicinity was now constantly torn between birth and death, good and bad ... it was unstoppable. The ban was lifted and an unbelievable power was felt far around this area.An imposing spectacle now presented itself, so that even Krad and Dark had paused and were now floating in front of a huge blood-red moon. From the painting with the brooch, the combined work of art of two families, a pitch black and a bright white strand snaked towards the sky. The two arch-rivals saw these strands unstoppable, but neither of them moved. The black strand tied Dark and the white strand Krad. Both strands were twisted into each other and now dragged Krad and Dark with them into the depths, directly into the combined work of art of two.
