Satoshi Hiwatari belongs to the Hikari clan, goes to Daisuke's class and is the general commissioner in the Dark case. This fact is supported by the fact that Hiwatari can transform into Krad (Dark read backwards * g *) due to its Hikari DNA. Krad is the arch rival of the master thief Dark and tries with all means to destroy him.... Daisuke had overslept again and now Riku was standing in front of the door. He fell out of bed, down the stairs and into the bathroom. Within 2 minutes he had got dressed, packed the satchel and quickly grabbed a roll. Riku was already waiting impatiently in front of the door and now spurred Daisuke on to the highest haste. However, they did not manage to arrive on time and so they had to detain. When Daisuke finally came home, his mother was already waiting for him, who once again announced a robbery for Dark:

Daisuke only understood half of it and went to his room to do homework. This is the mundane daily routine of Daisuke Niwa.

Back at home with the Niwas in the evening, his mother made another riot. This time it was about who should steal "Eternal Fight", because such an announcement is binding and Dark always appeared when he was announced ... Kosuke (Daisuke's father) considered Dark's magical power and hoped to find a solution.
