Fanfic: Einmal Vergangenheit und zurück

nightmare again, she had gently stroked his hair and kissed his forehead given. Then he calmed down. When the sun slowly showed on the horizon, the Hanyou stirred again and slowly woke up.
"Did you sleep well?" Kagome asked, smiling down at him when he opened his eyes. Inuyasha just nodded. He hadn't slept so well in a long time, probably the last time they'd been in their time and slept together in their bed. The hanyou pulled her down as he pushed himself up slightly from the floor to give her a gentle kiss on the lips.
"It would be better if we return to the camp so that the others don't notice anything," he muttered regretfully against her lips that the girl agreed, reluctantly breaking away from him. As soon as she was only a few centimeters away from the half-demon, he took her in his arms and carried her to the little camp. * It is really a shame that I am not allowed to show anyone what I feel about this girl. Today I will have to take care of her very well, she hasn't slept and has to carry this heavy backpack!*

Arrived at the camp, Inuyasha moved to a nearby tree, Kagome lit the smoldering fire again and made breakfast as best it was possible. In order to bring a little mood into the group, which had really reached its zero point yesterday, but also to wake up a little, she shouted happily and much too loudly to the peacefully sleeping group: "HAVE A BEAUTIFUL GOOD MORNING, BREAKFAST IS DONE !!! If we make rapid progress today, we will probably finally be back in the village tomorrow at noon! "Everyone grumbled at such a rude wake-up call, but with this good news it was simply impossible to go back to sleep, let alone be in a bad mood. Kagome grinned happily, just hoping that she would get through the day, tired as she was.

Shippo was the first to see Kagome. *As always! * Inuyasha thought with a slight growl. A little sleepy, but still wide awake, came Miroku and Sango.
"Will our supplies last that long?" Sango asked worriedly.Kagome looked at her with a grin. "If Inuyasha doesn't grab my backpack during the day, certainly!"
"Then we will have to be really careful today!", Miroku said cheekily and threw himself on his breakfast. He was briefly interrupted by the Hanyou with a head butt, who did not want to let that sit on him. Then he turned to his portion. there was nothing more to be heard, everyone buried themselves in breakfast to strengthen themselves for the day.

It was going to be a really good day. Not only that the sun was shining again (like the last few weeks), but also because of a good sleep that everyone except Kagome had had and the great breakfast, they would certainly make it a long way and maybe actually tomorrow at Kaede arrive.

Immediately after breakfast the camp was packed up and everyone set off. Kagome was right, the group was making really good progress that day.She tried to keep up with the fast pace of her friends and she managed to do so for the first few hours, but after a while she began to fall back more and more. She tried hard, but it wasn't possible because it wasn't just fatigue that bothered her. * Something is wrong, I feel incredibly bad *, she thought, but could no longer draw attention to herself, a darkness had already surrounded her. She passed out.

Inuyasha hadn't noticed any of this. He had gone ahead once before to look for a place for the night. Even Sango, Miroku and Shippo didn't notice, because despite the fact that a quick step had been taken today, there was still little talk. All concentration was on getting back to Kaede quickly. In the late afternoon the three reached the Hanyou. He had found a good place on the edge of a forest.

"Where's Kagome?" he asked the others when he couldn't see them."She is right behind us!" said Miroku. He turned around ... ... but minutes passed and no Kagome came. The group started looking for her.
They were all very tired, but worried about their mate drove them on. They searched everything - to no avail. The girl had stepped away a few hours ago and she was far behind.

"You really can't rely on this bitch! To just disappear again like that!" Inuyasha cursed loudly, but inwardly he made great reproaches. * Why did I just go ahead? I knew she was tired, and then also the heavy backpack ... * He noticed how his friends were fighting against their tiredness, so he decided to go on looking alone and give them rest. "You stay here and get the night camp ready! I'm going to look for Kagome!"

He stormed back the way they had come this afternoon, searching everything, but couldn't find her anywhere. Now he tried to smell her.He figured that if no one had noticed, it shouldn't be too far away. The hanyou closed his eyes and raised his nose. No sooner had he done this than he saw the black figure in front of him again. "I warned you not to follow this goblin!" the figure called in a cutting voice, and Inuyasha felt anger well up inside her. He wanted to ask for an explanation, wanted to know where Kagome was, but the figure was already gone.

“Damn it!” He cursed and clenched his fists. Suddenly a lovely scent struck him, the Hanyou wasted no time! A very long way from the night camp, he finally had a clue where she was. He followed this scent, always back and after about half an hour he finally found it. Kagome was lying in a meadow half-buried under her big backpack, breathing very quietly and Inuyasha couldn't wake her up, no matter what he tried. Defeated, he strapped her backpack to his back and carefully took her in his arms.It was a good hour before he and his friends reached him. In the meantime they had made camp for the night. Sango was just warming water for the meal, Miroku and Shippo were looking for Kagome again.
You could see the relief when the Hanyou could be seen with her friend in her arms. Inuyasha carefully put her in a sleeping bag.
"What is wrong with her?" asked Sango. He snapped at her angrily: "Keh, if you had been more careful, it might not have happened!". Nobody knew exactly what she had.

"Tomorrow morning, before the sun comes up, we'll go to the old witch, she might be able to help. You better eat something now and then go to sleep. I'll stay awake and take care of Kagome!" His words admitted no contradiction, but no one wanted to contradict him either. They all reproached themselves.

That same night, old Kaede was visited again by the black figure she thought she recognized on her last visit."Kaede - sama, I'm sorry. I couldn’t dissuade you from your path, you’re halfway to ruin," said the Gestallt in a weak voice and slumped on her knees. Kaede jumped towards her in alarm and caught the body when it threatened to topple over completely. She took care of the structure with care.
She wasn't wrong, it was a female body that she laid on her bed. The figure was tainted with a spell that Kaede could break with a little effort. But she wanted to prove her trust in the figure further and, to give her some liquid, did not pull her mask all the way down from her face, only over the tip of her nose.
When morning dawned, the figure came to again. She thanked them politely and said goodbye straight away. As she was on her way, she turned around again and called to the wise woman: "They will be here in a few hours, try to stop them again!"With these words she disappeared from the village.

Inuyasha had watched Kagome all night and had become increasingly restless. Her condition worsened by the hour. Shortly before the sun rose, he finally woke the others. He wanted to get the girl to Kaede as soon as possible.
"Is Kagome awake again?" Shippo muttered sleepily and rubbed his eyes. When he saw the restlessness of the hanyou, he knew immediately that it wasn't.
"No, she is not and her breathing is getting shallower, we have to hurry!"
As fast as they could they packed their things and set off. The half-demon took Kagome back in his arms and held her tenderly. * Please let her get through this! * He repeated the words over and over in his head. * Let them be healthy! * Inuyasha's unrest grew the longer the march went on. Kagome's breath had grown shallower, her body hung lifeless in his arms and her heartbeat was just a faint flutter in her chest. He hugged her closer just to make sure she was still alive. * Stay with me, Kagome! You're welcome! Do not leave me alone! * He quickened his pace. She really needed help, and quickly! Nevertheless, it was late noon when the village finally came into view. Inuyasha practically ran the last few hundred yards towards Kaede's hut. Old Miko had been waiting impatiently for her and saw her coming from afar.

"Put Kagome in my hut, Inuyasha!" she called out to him.
