Chapter: A dream and of that

The next morning Ray woke up. Yawning, he went out of his room. He took care that he closed the door very quietly, he didn't want to wake Max. When he entered the kitchen there was a quay in front of the window. The Russian stared dreamily at the street and didn't even notice when a car drove by.
"What's the matter with you?", Ray wanted to know. Kai turned to the black-haired woman after half a minute. "Did you say something?" Asked the Russian. Ray shook his head, "No, no. I didn't say anything."
After a while, Kenny came into the kitchen with Dizara. The boss rubbed his eyes tiredly. Ray was now sitting at the table and eating corn flakes. Kai was still staring at the street. All of a sudden he took his jacket, which he had just thrown on the floor the night before, put it on quickly and ran out.
Ray looked at Kenny with wide eyes. "What does he have?" He asked puzzled. "If I only knew," said Kenny and sat down at the table.Kai had seen someone who shouldn't be in Tokyo. Someone he didn't want to have anything to do with anymore. Someone he hated like the plague.
But when he stood outside there was no one to be seen. Kai continued running down the street. Nobody was to be seen.
Angry, he went back into the house. Meanwhile, Max had woken up too. The three boys sat in the kitchen and were busy with all sorts of things. Kenny sat thoughtfully in front of his laptop. Ray was washing his plates and Max? Max sat at the table and made himself a toast with peanut butter.
Kai slammed the door angrily. A second later, Tyson's head peeked out the door. He was about to get rid of something when the Russian hurried past him. When the world champion saw Kai's angry face, he preferred to shut up.
The boy from Russia went into the living room and slammed the door.
Tyson could look into the kitchen from his room. The boys who stood and sat looked at the world champion questioningly."Okay, can someone tell me what happened here now?" Max asked into the silence. "Um ..." came only from Kenny. "He seems pissed off," said Tyson, scratching his head. "YES we wouldn't have figured it out," said Ray.
Max got up and went opened the door to the living room. Kai stood at the window and stared out again. It seemed like he was muttering something to himself the whole time.
"Um ... Kai, what just happened", asked the blonde very carefully. The Russ turned and looked terrifying at Max. "That's none of your business. Now get out of here!" Shouted Kai angrily.
Max closed the door and went back into the kitchen. Tyson had joined the others too. "And what is it now?" He asked the blond curiously. Max shrugged his shoulders: "He's just pretty angry." "What's his mood change?" Asked Tyson. Ray looked at him with raised eyebrows. "You don't think you yourself think that's a change of mood?"said the Chinese." Kai is hiding something from us. But what? Kenny thought. That ended the conversation.
That night Kai lay awake the whole time. "Why were you there? Why?", He thought for a long time. When he suddenly noticed something, he got up and left the room. He heard noises in the living room. It was ... a scream.
This scream sounded very familiar to Kai. He hurried into the room and was briefly shocked. Dranzer was before his eyes. The phoenix looked tormented. Suddenly ropes came from all sides and tied Dranzer. The phoenix screamed, but Kai couldn't help him. Then someone laughed in the background. Everything went black around Kai. He sank to the floor and pressed his hands to his head.
Kai woke up drenched in sweat in his bed. He looked around, panting. Was it all just a dream or a reality? The Russian didn't know. He took off his top from his pajamas and laid them on his bed. Kai rubbed his eyes and thought for a moment.Then he got up and put on his street clothes. Kai went out of his room to the front door.
He opened it, when he stood there he turned around briefly and mumbled: "I'm sorry." Then he went out and closed the door ...
