Dromos: Greek name for the avenues of sphinxes that line the paths that lead to the temples.

Hieracocephalus: Collective term for all falcon gods in the Egyptian pantheon.

Hypotyl halls: Large forest of columns in the courtyard of an Egyptian temple.

Medjay: Name of the soldiers of the Pharaoh's personal guard who are posted throughout the palace.

Miter: Belt (mostly made of sturdy leather) that a warrior put on to protect his abdomen.

Netjer: The ancient Egyptian word for god or gods.

Pantheon: A temple in Greece dedicated to all the gods of Greece. Science usually summarizes the totality of all gods of a people as a pantheon.

Senet: A board game that is often seen as the "ancestor" of the game of chess.

Titans: Name for the ancient Greek gods or giants that ruled Olympus before the time of Zeus; the 6 sons and 6 daughters of Uranus and Gaea, who were defeated by Zeus and imprisoned in Tartarus.
