Chapter: One follows the other
One follows the other
In the following weeks Angy felt very guilty and tried again and again to get to Zorro, but she failed again and again. He didn't let anyone get near him. You only saw him at the dining table, otherwise always on his hammock. Zorro had even given up training a few days ago. The rest were not very concerned. One morning, Angy was up long before sunrise, she wondered again what she had done wrong in her life that it had to end like this. She was in a mental crisis with herself.
"What did I do wrong? Can someone tell me?"
As if struck by lightning, she got a strange headache. She closed her eyes and saw strange shapes.
"Mother, father? Sianta, Loria, is that you?"
"Yes my child. You haven't done anything wrong in your life, it is your destiny to know what the real dangers of life are."
"Mother, you are still the same.Father what do you have to say to me? "
"Nothing, just that there is someone who would like to tell you something."
She took a close look at this person. Jet black hair, soft red eyes and a big smile on his face. His voice was friendly but serious. Angy recognized him immediately.
"Marimi?"
"Yes exactly. Angy you recognize me. I'm very happy. I want to tell you how sorry I am that we didn't see each other anymore."
"It's okay. Do you have something to say to me?"
"Yes, I want you to return to our island because we all miss you very much."
"But what is..."
"Take them both with you. They will understand and will come with you."
"All right. I'll take your advice."
"Angy ..."
"Yes Sianta?"
"You will no longer remember what happened now. Sooner or later you will find it out on your own and remember."
"No, I still want to know! Loria, you want that too, don't you?"
"No, otherwise it will be too early and your generation would be in danger.""Oh yes, my baby ..."
"Angy, please come back to us in a few years and save our island ... we all miss you ... even if most of us are dead ... our spirits will always be in your heart."
Angy jumped up with a scream. The sun was just rising. Then she heard steps.
"Morning Sanji. Already awake?"
"Yeah, I heard you scream and I was worried."
"Not only are you awake."
Without turning around, Angy pointed in the direction of the door. Chopper padded here, totally overtired.
"Is anyone hurt?"
"No, it's okay. I had a vision."
"Oh really, what kind of one?"
"II don't remember. I had a weird headache, then it started."
"Aha ... then maybe you didn't drink enough."
"No. They felt weird. On the one hand painful and also relieving. Weird."
"Hmm ..... in any case no one is injured. I'm trying to get some sleep. Are you coming with Chopper?"
"No, I'll be there. Wait a moment.""Is good."
With that, Sanji went back into the room and threw himself on the hammock.
Chopper sat down next to Angy.
"Why ..." began Chopper, but he didn't take the question any further.
Angy grabbed her stomach and felt something move in it. She smiled as she did so, but her eyes lost their shine. They were dull and staring out to sea.
"Why what?" Angy asked and turned to him.
"Oh nothing." Chopper replied softly.
"I don't understand our world anymore and I want to know what's going on with our society. We are no longer what we used to be."
"Angy, I don't understand."
"Chopper ... have you compared our current way of life and our former times?"
"No, what about it? I know that everything is very out of joint, but we will fix that again, I promise you."
"You're wrong. I've compared everything. There is a very big difference. We used to be ONE. A community that didn't separate anything and went through thick and thin.Take a look at us now. Almost everyone lives for themselves, as if we were alone and I don't want that. I want this one to return to all of us. I can't stand it any longer and I want to be able to all live together peacefully again. I would love to be able to turn back time and fix everything so that we can have an agreeable life again. "
She went back to her room and went to bed. A few tears ran down her cheeks.
"I'm so exhausted. I don't want to anymore!" she sobbed, but her crying didn't help. Everything was quiet.
"I know that everything is very out of joint, but we will fix that again, I promise you."
This sentence was buzzing in her head and would not stop.
"We all don't want to anymore. Even for me it has become too much." suddenly a voice sounded out of nowhere.
"And please don't cry. Every single tear only makes things worse. We all don't want you to break down.""No. Crying is the only thing I can do until everything is sorted out again. Please don't blame me for that. That's the last thing I need."
"No, I don't mean that. If you keep crying so much, then everyone blames everyone for it and then our community would be at the end. Well, it already is."
Angy ran to the bookshelf and kept marveling at how long these people might have been sitting at. Then she pulled out a thick black book. It was already dusty and probably very old. She leafed through it. It was like a diary. But she could not read anywhere from whom it is. Then one day it got stuck. It said the following:
"This morning not everything was as it seems. It had been quiet for a few weeks. I had only been among men for 2 years. You are still not allowed to find out that I am really a woman. Today was a special day, the anniversary of the death of my parents and my 5 brothers.I tried not to show anything, but when I was alone I would secretly cry. I broke the law of my tribe. Women are not allowed to go out to sea with men, or to hunt with them, etc. Otherwise it brings bad luck. As usual, I sat in the middle of my bushes and trees that I had planted so lovingly. My eyes moisturized and I cried again. Then one of my people came up to me.
"Jared, what's wrong? You've been acting so strange all morning."
"I know it's not male, but 10 years ago today my parents and brothers were killed. All of them one after the other and I had to watch it. It was terrible. I just have to cry."
"How old were you there?"
"I think I was 12 or 13 years old. It happened 2 days after my birthday. People from other tribes invaded. They were different from me. They had white skin and spoke a very strange language, just like you. I understand until Not today what they wanted to say to me back then after they found me and brought me to one of their camps.Few people survived days after they left. Our chief was still alive and our shaman survived it too, seriously injured, but she was very knowledgeable about herbs and plants and was able to talk to our God and communicate with animals. Everything was fine with her, she could take care of herself and treat herself. I still can't understand how to get along with you guys. Because after all ... "
"Yes, our superiors murdered your parents and brothers, but we don't want to harm you."
They were able to understand my language more and more and I also theirs. We taught each other our language and our customs. In the meantime it was evening. The whole time I was with Xavier, that's his name, alone and we talked. I loved him, but he didn't know about any of this. As usual, I went to the bathroom to take a shower. But then something happened that I could never forgive myself. I forgot to lock the lock and one of my comrades ripped open the door full of drunkenness and I stood stark naked before everyone.Everyone looked stupid and I got dressed as fast as I could.
"Where are you going, woman?"
I ran as fast as I could but was held.
"Our captain is ... a woman ?!" some shouted around.
"You know what that means."
I sighed.
"Yes, do what you have to do and throw me to the sharks to eat."
My gaze fell and I closed my eyes for a short time.
"Hold off your fingers or I'll throw you to eat. Do you understand me?"
"Xavier no! Let her do everything, you were so horrified too!"
"No, I already knew the whole time that you were a woman, I just didn't want to admit it. And I'll tell you binge drinking: I don't want the mutiny going on here, so let's find a way out together."
"Hmm let's sleep on it, then we'll see."
The next morning nothing was right anymore. Everyone ignored me. Only, strangely enough, not Xavier. Whenever I was alone, he came to me and cheered me up a little. Then one day everything got happier again. We celebrated together again and drank each other under the table. Everything was as it was before. By that day, I didn't shed a tear. Then we arrived back on my home island. Xavier and I decided to stay on our island. A few years later, we were the happy parents of two lovely girls. They didn't look very alike, but their behavior was one and the same. Then one evening I was looking for my older daughter. My younger, the baby boy, was already asleep. We found a letter from the Navy. This revealed that she was taken to a town called Loguetown. We knew there was nothing more we could do.
The little one grew up very quickly. Since I was the new shaman, I knew that one day my daughters would be very special beings. These strange headaches spread to the little girl, her name is Angy ... "
After this sentence Angy stopped.
"This writing ..."
"What?"Up to this point, Robin had occupied himself with reading and was shocked when Angy spoke another word after half an hour. Angy took a letter from under her pillow and compared the handwriting. Indeed, they were the same.
"I never knew who wrote this book. I found it somewhere a few years ago and took it with me. I never knew who wrote it. Did you solve it?"
"Yes, I definitely know who wrote it."
"Who's out with the language?"
"It was my mother ... read these sentences through.
Angy pointed to some places on these pages.
"In fact, you appear in this sentence. Then it is your mother's diary. But here the talk is that your mother was with a white-skinned person and he is your father."
"Yes, right ...
