Chapter: An uphill battle and a confession

So, here I am again! This is the last chapter of my FF.

Inuyasha ran up to the demon and wanted to meet him with Tessaiga. Haru dodged at the last moment, so that Inu Yasha's sword hit the ground. "Damn it.", He muttered and attacked again with Tessaiga. Again he didn't meet.Why don't I score? It gives the impression that it is vanishing into thin air. Inuyasha thought before attacking again. After this attack, Haru suddenly disappeared. "Where is he?" Inuyasha wanted to know. Suddenly Inuyasha shot through a violent pain and fell to her knees. "Inuyasha!" He heard Kagome scream from behind him. He tried to get up again and noticed that he had a huge wound on his upper body.[i]How can that be? He didn't have a gun! Inuyasha wondered. Before he could fully straighten up, there was another sharp pain on his arm.The dog demon looked up and saw a dog in front of him. Shortly afterwards the dog turned into the stranger who had turned out to be Haru. "How do you do that?" Inuyasha wanted to know. "Yeah, you'd like to know, eh? I can transform into anything.", Haru answered. Now Haru showed the half demon his strength and turned into everything possible. It could go from people, all animals and objects to plants.
Kagome noticed the spider-shaped scar at Haru's transformations. No matter what shape he assumed, this scar was always to be seen somewhere. Kagome wanted to warn Inuyasha, who was already fighting Naraku's lackeys, and ran over to him. "Inuyasha! I know where his weak point is! The scar! He always has that scar!" Inuyasha startled at Kagome's words.[i]The scar? he wondered. "Thanks Kagome, but now go back to the others!" But when she wanted to leave again, Haru attacked her. He was angry because she really had figured out his weak point.But before he could reach her, Inuyasha was there and fended off his attack. "Inuyasha.", Kagome whispered as she opened the eyes that she had closed in shock. "So, Haru, let's see if you really are invincible!" With these words Inu Yasha aimed Tessaiga at the place where the scar was and defeated him with it. At the end of his strength, he passed out.

When he came to he looked straight into Kagome's eyes. "Oh, awake again? How are you?" Inuyasha straightened up when he noticed that he was lying in a hut. "I'm fine," he replied to her question. She looked at him smiling. “You slept half the day too!” Only now did he notice that the others were lying around him and sleeping.

The half-demon tried to get up, although Kagome held him back. "Kagome, would you come with me, please?" He asked and went out of the hut. She watched him go for a few seconds, then got up and followed him. He led her into the forest and sat under a tree.She sat down next to him. There was silence for a few minutes before Inuyasha broke the silence. "Kagome, ... I wanted to ... apologize to you again. I should have believed you." "What do you mean?" She asked him. "Well, the thing with that face. I thought, if I don't notice anything, there won't be anything. But I was probably wrong." "It doesn't matter. You defeated him. We'll forget about it, OK? "" Yes, ok. But I only defeated him with your help. "After Inu Yasha's last words, there was a short pause in which they looked at the stars. “Kagome?” “Yes?” “I have something else important to tell you. Until now I couldn't, but now I can.” Kagome looked at him and noticed that he was smiling. She had never seen him so happy and was happy with him. "Kagome ... I ... I love you!" Inuyasha managed. Kagome was startled.[i]Did I hear you right? Did he say to me that it loves me?, thought Kagome and blushed.The half-demon noticed this, turned to her, hugged her tightly and kissed her. At first surprised by Inu Yasha's action, she agreed. She wished. That this would never end. After the kiss, Inuyasha said something else, which Kagome really enjoyed. "Kagome, I love you more than anything else. I will never leave you. Not even for Kikyo." So they fell asleep cuddled together in the middle of the forest. Exhausted but happy. end
