Chapter: A happy ending

So, the last chap! (sorry, a little short ^ //) ^

Since it was the middle of the night, the four of them went to their sleeping place. On the way there, Kagome remembered the chain. "Inuyasha! Do you still have the necklace?" She asked excitedly. "Chain? Oh that. Of course." Inuyasha said and gave it to her. First Kagome looked at her for a while and then she handed him the necklace. "It's for you! I bought it especially for you!", She said, beaming with joy. “I hope you like it!” Inuyasha took a closer look at the present and smiled. "Yes, Kagome. I think this necklace is great." Kagome was delighted and happily clung to his arm.
"Kagomeee! Inu Yasha !! There you are !! Just leave without telling us! How mean! I was worried!", Shippo called out to them from afar. He jumped on her arm and Kirara ran to Sango. "I'm sorry Shippo! Never happen again. Spoil me!", Kagome soothed him. "Ouch !!" Shippo suddenly shouted.Inuyasha had given him a headbut. "Inuyasha!" Said Kagome angrily. "What? The little one shouldn't complain. It was important and we had to leave quickly. Should we wake them up too?" The Hanyo pretended to be offended, turned away and went to the campsite. Kagome smiled again. “Don't worry,” she explained to the little fox demon, “you know how he is.” Then everyone went after Inuyasha to rest.
The next morning the group set out to continue looking for Naraku. Everyone was in a very good mood. Only Shippo didn't know why.
“Inuyasha?” “Yes?” “I could hear you. But I couldn't control my body. That won't happen to me again.” Inuyasha looked at her sideways and said: “You really couldn't help it We should be careful though. Naraku's methods keep getting meaner. Who knows what this bastard is up to next. "He became thoughtful. Kagome looked at him and clutched his arm again.“Don't worry, Inuyasha. We won't let Naraku defeat us. We can defeat him together.” The half demon stopped thinking about it and added “You're right” to Kagome's words.
"Where do we want to go now?" Miroku wanted to know. "We should take a break first. I have to go back to my era for a while anyway. We can go to Kaede's village, or Inuyasha?" He just nodded. "OK, then let's go to Kaede. We can all use a break.", Sango agreed.
So they made their way to the village.
