Dream or real?
While she looked around, she saw quite a lot that she wanted to quickly forget. Only a heap of rubble remained of the once beautiful country. Panic fear surrounded the young princess and she became anxious. She kept walking and looked at the floor. A faint voice called her name and for help. Her panic grew faster by the minute. She gasped for air, her movements became faster and faster and before she knew it, she was on the floor. There she looked around a second time. Panting voices called them over and over again. “Wasn't there?” Zelda looked up. There was a young man, blond hair, blue eyes, and a green robe. "Link !! Is that you? So answer me!" Zelda looked at this figure longer and slowly moved towards it. But then she stumbled and turned around. Tears ran down her cheeks on the way out. She was so happy not to be alone anymore. But then this blow.It felt like she had been shot in the heart with multiple arrows. This pain spread to all the limbs of her petite body. Tears continued to trickle down her face and pelt like rain on the floor. She closed her eyes.
When she opened her eyes she was in her room, surrounded by light that blinded her. Then someone saw them. "Impa is that you?" she asked softly, her voice weak. "Yes, it's so bright, you can't see me. It's because of the light. Wait." Impa pulled the curtains a little. There was a loud knock on the door. Impa bowed. "Does your Highness wish a visit? Or should he come back later?". Zelda smiled. “Let him in.” “As you wish.”. There was a second knock. "In!" Impa called and stood next to Zelda. A slightly larger creature came in. “Darunia, what is she doing here?” Darunia bowed deeply and then stepped a little closer. "Princess, what luck that you are still alive."" Why shouldn't I live? "" Didn't you see anything when you were in this strange city? "" I saw Link! "Shouted Zelda, but then she looked at the floor." That's not possible! "Darunia shouted across the room." Why? "" Link is no longer alive, he's dead ... my brother Goro .... "" What ?! "Zelda looked Darunia deep in the eyes." Yes ... he was murdered by Ganon Goro ... "" No! "" Princess ... I'm sorry that you have to find out. "Darunia was silent." But ... but ... that can't be true! "Zelda fell on her knees and cried. Impa bent down to her. At the same moment a shadow flitted from one side to the other. Zelda stood up and wiped the remaining tears from her face, which fell like small, shining raindrops on the earth It was getting dark. In the whole city and also in the Hylian steppe black clouds spread out. "There the shadow! "" Where Impa? Where did you see him "Panic spread in the castle." Princess, you have to flee! "Impa shouted to Zelda, who nodded.“The castle falls a Goro!” Darunia ran out of the room towards the castle courtyard. Zelda stopped dead in place. What should she do? Should she run away and let Impa down? Or should she help her and be afraid that she might die? She ran up to Impa, grabbed her arm and ran towards it. “Zelda what are you up to?” “I have to free you!” Zelda and Impa were almost at the exit, but then a large boulder fell on them both. Zelda squeezed out. She tried to pull Impa by the hand, but couldn't. She was too weak. "Here, I beg you my little one, take it to yourself. The ocarina of time. Play it and think of me." Impa gasped and let her head fall to the ground. Zelda felt for her pulse. She didn't find one. Then she closed her eyes for a moment and ran out. Since she still had her eyes closed, she ran against Darunia, who looked at her with wide eyes. "Where's your maid?" he asked softly.Zelda looked in the direction of the cairn that was increasingly blocking the entrance to the castle. The thunderstorm that broke out a while ago vanished and the sky cleared. The sun was shining like it always did. A faint image appeared before her eyes. "Impa?" Zelda asked softly. That ghost pointed her to the ocarina in her hand. She looked at them and started playing. Darunia stepped closer. "A beautiful melody ..." he said and listened. When Zelda was finished with her game, she could see the blid more and more clearly in front of her eyes. Darunia was startled. "Who are you? Are you that woman from just now?" "Yes, I am Impa's soul. Zelda, I ask you, don't cry for me. I will always be with you. I know it's difficult, but we have to do the good see from it. "" There is nothing good about that! You are dead, lifeless! What is supposed to be good about it ?! "" I don't know either, but Zelda let me tell you one thing. The day will come when that life will pass and then we'll see you again.I promise to you. I still ask you for one thing. Remove the stones from my body and bury it in the cemetery in Kakariko. Please do me a favor. "With these words it disappeared again." No, don't go! Please do not do that to me! Stay with me! "Zelda screamed to failure. But the ghost just disappeared. The birds chirped again.
In the meantime Darunia and Zelda had walked a long way back towards the castle. They came to the entrance. “Princess, it is better to let me do it.” Darunia went to the pile of stones that had gathered in front of the entrance. “No, I'll help.” Zelda also went there and cleared away the little chunks. After about half an hour they had made their way to their room. "There she lies." said Darunia and pointed towards the throne room. "Yes, right ... I have to do it, stay out of the game." "If I can help, I'll be happy to." Zelda braced her back against Impa's body and carried her a long way. Then she collapsed. "It's too heavy." Zelda whispered to himself. "Should I help?" asked Darunia again. "No, I want to do that. Impa was like a mother to me. I miss her so much." Both stopped and looked at the red evening sun. They breathless for a moment, then they went up the stairs to Kakariko. Once there, they saw that the village was deserted. A feather could be heard falling to the ground. Only now and then did the wind rustle in the trees. Later they arrived at the cemetery. Darunia dug a hole there and Zelda carefully put the body into it. While Darunia was digging the hole, Zelda was looking for beautiful flowers which she then placed on top. Then she sat down in front of it and played the ocarina again. “I'm sorry to say that, but I have to go again.” Zelda wasn't listening. Darunia stopped. Then it got too dark for him and left. The whole night you could hear the clear game and at dawn Zelda fell asleep totally exhausted. When she woke up it was getting late. The moon shone right in her face. Slowly she opened her eyes. Then she had an idea. She ran to Impa's house at the end of the village. She took a torch and threw it through the window. Then it started to rain. The house burned down completely despite the rain. After her work was finished, she slowly went to the Hylian steppe. She did not let go of the ocarina. Then she played one more time. Then she heard a neigh. Epona ran towards them. "Epona!" Zelda called and Epona stopped. Then she rose. She rode through the steppe to the Lon-Lon farm. There Zelda tied Epona and looked around. Then she saw a glowing inferno of fire and she ran towards it. Then she saw some ropes that she quickly untied. The horses ran out of the stable and Epona stood protectively in front of them. But Zelda was surprised by a burning beam and was now lying under her. She pulled herself through and ran a little further. After that she felt nothing. When she woke up she didn't know where she was.
