Fanfic: Dead Wave
Chapter: term
Hi there I am again, with a new chapi in my luggage !! (thanks for the inspectors !!!)
The train began to move slowly, it was an old steam engine, one of the last that was allowed to run, but it would not be long before it too would find its final resting place in the museum.
Kira watched the stranger skeptically. It was visibly difficult for her to keep her two wolves calm, they were probably uncomfortable with the noise and the shaking surroundings.
"Wolves ... I don't think so ... who gets involved with something like that, is that even allowed?" she whispered.
After a few minutes the door of the compartment opened and a man in a train uniform asked about the tickets. Without a word, Kira handed it to him and then watched the conversation between the other two.
"Miss, I don't need to remind you that dogs are forbidden on a train!"
<Dogs? > Siria raised an eyebrow, but preferred not to mention that it wasn't.
"I know ... but they are really tame, and besides, the compartment is as good as empty ... please let me drive on!" she pleaded. The man sighed: "If my superior finds out ... but if the slightest incident occurs, I have to ask you to remove the animals from this locomotive!"
"Thanks..."
Then he left the car to check on the other guests.
"I'm so excited!" Melanie was happy and rummaged in her backpack.
“May I ask what are you looking for?” Katt looked curiously at her friend. When she found what she was looking for, Katt's blue eyes lit up: "Cookies! From whom?"
"Mrs. Lennart, you know the old lady, if she doesn't stop baking her cookies soon, we'll get fat!" the two laughed.
“But you're not the only one who has brought something!” Katt pulled a yellowed newspaper article out of her jacket pocket: “Look, isn't that our boarding school?”
A black and white picture showed an old castle that was overgrown with weeds and the facade was crumbling.
"If you look at it for a long time, it looks really familiar to me, but it looks a lot older than in the Prosbect."Then let them have the bold headline:" Glenmore Castle's Newest Victim! "
Ayumi leaned her head against the window pane and looked out into the barren landscape: "I hope it doesn't look just as boring in Term ..." she thought sadly of her friends, what were they doing? Do you think of her? "What am I doing here? I can send you a text message!" with a smile, she took her cell phone out of her pocket. When she looked at the display, she lost her good mood; no signal.
"Great ... and now? A train full of strangers and an eternally long journey ... I'll tip over with boredom ..." She almost made up her mind to look around a little.
In the compartment next door she heard loud cackling before she opened the door. Two girls around her age seemed to be making fun of something. She sat down in the empty space behind them so that she could understand them better, but she did not remain undetected for long. When she had to laugh at one of the black-haired jokes, the two turned around.
"Hi, my name is Melanie, this is my best friend Katt, and with whom do we have the honor?" she asked a bit pretended.
"Ayumi, you seem to be having a lot of fun."
"Sure! You don't?" it came from Katt.
Ayumi sighed heavily: "I only recently moved, and now I'm supposed to leave again, to such a stupid boarding school ... all by myself ..."
When he heard the word boarding school, Katt had to ask: "Glenmore?"
"Yeah, how do you know that?"
"First, the two of us are on our way there too," Katt grinned: "and second, I think I saw your picture on the floppy disk!"
“Disk?” Ayumi was confused. The other two told her about their little prank and asked her to sit down next to them. Ayumi didn’t have to be told twice, took her jacket and hand luggage and joined her new girlfriends.
The rest of the journey was uneventful.
Siria's wolves slept in spite of the noise and she listened to music with her discman while Kira dozed off and thought about her future ... Suddenly an announcement could be heard: "We will be in Term in a few moments, please make sure that your luggage is complete is!The exit is on the left. "
The train stopped with a deafening noise and the girls stepped out onto the platform into the crowd.
"Oh man ... how are you supposed to find your way around here? I hope I won't get lost!" Siria crouched down: "Oh what! I have you two." She gently stroked the black fur of Ragni and also about that of lightning.
"Off to the battle!" Melanie called as the three of them were digging their way through the crowd.
In front of the station building, the crowds gradually dissolved, and one had a clear view of the surrounding area again. Term was a historic city, around which many sagas and legends entwined. Most of them were horrific stories about kidnapping people or the appearance of monsters from the underworld. But the people and families in the huge city did not believe in these old wives' tales, but they were grateful to them that they had brought torrism to Term.Katt rummaged in her pocket for the map of the city: "Ah! I have it, now we just have to find our school." The three girls found a park bench and spread out the map. After about 10 minutes. Ayumi found the point labeled "Glenmore Castle". "This is exactly where we have to go, does anyone know how far that is?"
"I think about a quarter of an hour ..." puzzled Melanie and folded the card onto a small, handy square, then they set off.
Kira looked around for a map. She found one across the street. Siria approached it too.
Their fingers met at the mark on the lock. "I guess we went the same way!" exclaimed Siria.
She got no answer, just an annoyed expression on Kira's part.
<She's just pretending to know each other ...>
