Fanfic: Dead Wave
Chapter: strange news
* run to you * HI! * chapi give * * run away * Byyyyye !!!!
"Wow! I'm full!" Ayumi called and patted her stomach with her hand.
"Me too ... did it taste good?" it came from Melanie.
"Takes a bit of getting used to ... but otherwise!" interjected Katt, who was just about to move her cutlery and plate away: "Are you coming ?!"
At the tray cart they met the girl with the wolves.
Melanie: "You're Siria, aren't you?" She nodded: "Yes, I am ... and you: Ayumi, Katt and Malanie."
"Exactly! Tell me, can you stroke the wolves? They're wolves, not dogs?"
"Wolves, right. Whether they let you stroke them depends entirely on you." Melanie crouched down in front of the white one and held out her hand so that he could sniff. After a few seconds he licked her face happily.
"Uh!" Melanie called and fell backwards.
"Are you okay?" asked Katt worriedly.
"Everything is fine ..." she laughed, the others had to laugh out loud too.
<Do I have to feed on this stuff for the rest of the school years now ?!> Kira thought sullenly. She had hardly eaten anything, something seemed to depress her, that had been observed by Albany, who had been sitting near her.
She had already tried to talk to her before dinner, but she only got an unfriendly 'Go away! 'Thrown against the head.
When Ayumi, Melanie and Katt were back at the living quarters of their class, they noticed the crowd that had gathered in front of it.
“What's going on here?” Katt pushed past the people to the door.
"Final destination!" a boy held his hand in front of her face: "Stop, I said!"
"What's happening?"
"Quite simply ... the key is gone ..." Katt's eyes widened: "Now what?"
"I have no idea ... such a strange customer is getting help ... or at least trying ..."
She pushed back to her friends and shared the problem with them, who then made long faces.
After a few minutes of waiting, Kira suddenly appeared, holding the key in her hand.Without a word she handed it over to one of the students, who gratefully accepted it and unlocked it.
She was about to go to her room when she was stopped by Ayumi: "Where did you get the key from?"
"I don't know ..." Kira snorted and left.
<Strange girl ...> thought the addressed and ran back to the others.
In the meantime they were in the room of the three and were talking animatedly with Siria.
Suddenly Tine appeared in the frame: "Come downstairs, everyone, into the common room, and bring Kira with you!"
They did as they were told. When the whole class seemed to be gathered, Tine spoke up: "We just got our schedule!" she announced. A groan ran through the crowd.
"I'll hang it here on the door, then you can copy it, we also got a copy of the house rules and a letter from the headmistress!" She disgusted herself and unfolded the letter.
"Dear students, your school uniforms should arrive in the next few minutes according to the schedule, classes will start punctually at seven o'clock tomorrow, in case there are problems or questions, you will find the director's room in Flur5."She put the note back in the envelope.
"So, that's it ..." and in no time at all the students disappeared back into the rooms.
~ the next day: 6:00 a.m. ~
"Yawn ...!" Siria whispered as she got up to turn off her ringing cell phone. She crept to the light switch and was disappointed that the light only lit the room so little. With astonishment she noticed that Kira was no longer in her bed.
"How can you get up earlier ..." she slurped over to her closet and dug out her shower kit and school uniform. The uniform for both boys and girls consisted of long black trousers and, depending on the temperature, dark blue trousers
T-shirt or sweater with the school's coat of arms. There was also a long black coat and a thick wool sweater next to the other. Everyone was responsible for their own shoes.
When she opened the door to the bathroom her Tine came with a cheerful: "Good morning!" opposite.
"Tomorrow!" she replied and then went into the small hallway that separated girls and boys.On the left were the girls. She stopped in front of the door and listened. There was someone else in the bathroom, a shower was running. She knew it was Kira. In some way she was happy about it, now she finally had the opportunity to swap a few sentences with her roommate.
The bathroom consisted of eight spacious showers and a larger, open basin in the corner of the room.
As she got into one of the showers, she called: "Morning Kira! How are you?" but she got no answer. "Tomorrow!" she repeated, hoping that Kira just hadn’t heard her.
"Yourselves tomorrow ..." it came back. Siria was pleased with the answer and tried to get a conversation going: "Did you sleep well?"
"Mind your own business?!" muttered Kira.
"Why are you so unfriendly?"
"I'm not rude ... I just want to be left alone!" Siria sighed, not wanting to go into this topic any further. Instead, she preferred to ask about other things: "Tell me, where are you actually from?""Vrohn ..." came the monotonous answer.
"Vrohn? Hey, I'm coming here too! Which Virtel?"
"I don't see what that has to do with you!"
"Well then ..." Siria tried to sound as nice as possible: "I only recently moved."
At that moment the sliding door of the shower next to her opened and Kira stepped out of the shower into the cold surroundings and dried off. Siria could still hear her getting dressed and then pushing the handle of the bathroom door down. "You should hurry up if you don't want to be late for class ..." she said goodbye and clicked the lock behind her.
Startled, Siria pushed the shower open and looked at the clock on the wall: 6:45 am !!! She hurriedly jumped outside, dressed, and brushed her teeth before hurrying to grab her shower kit and bring it upstairs.
She stood panting in front of the door to the classroom, it was now ten past six. She should have been there by now. <Oh man! Too late on the first day!Siria! Pull yourself together and just open the door! > she admonished herself.
As she stood in the room and waited for her teacher to be terribly angry, a voice whispered: "Sira! There you are at last, sit down quickly, the teacher is not there yet!" she opened her eyes and looked at Katt, who showed her the chair next to her. In no time at all she took a seat and unpacked her stuff. The next moment the teaching teacher entered the room: it was the man with the pigtail and long coat, the one who had read the house rules to them.
"No! Not the ..." Ayumi swore to her neighbor Melanie, who nodded in agreement.
"Quiet!" called the teacher. He stood in front of the class and looked at his students seriously.
"My name is Auckland, Mr. Auckland!" he wrote his name on the board.
"I'm going to teach you math this year. I don't ask you to listen, but I ask that nobody disturbs the class!"He started a round of the class.
"Mathematics has become indispensable in our time. We use mathematics every day to do banking transactions, to calculate forms, for example in architecture or to organize our lives. We also find mathematics in nature. In the blueprints of animals and Plants..."
The hour passed relatively quickly as the lecture was really interesting at times. Herbalism was next on the agenda.
"Well, I'm curious about that ..." Melanie revealed, but more to herself.
"Do you think the headmistress is normal in the head?" asked Katt around.
A general shrug came back. They were already expected in front of the room, by their teacher personally: "Always come in, and please be careful that you don't fall into anything!"
The room was lined up on all sides with shelves and tables on which there were new or old devices, you almost felt like you were in a chemistry room. When everyone was seated, the high-pitched bell rang and Mrs. Nradar took the floor: "First of all, I am happy to welcome you all, I hope we will work well together in the following year!
In this, I may have to admit, relatively unusual subject you will learn what you can do with plants, you will be amazed! You will also get to know something about the wildlife in our area.
By and large, however, the term biology is not entirely appropriate, as areas of matter will emerge that do not belong there. "
In this subject too, she initially expected a lecture. Later the teacher will introduce some small experiments. Like a plant that began to glow weakly when a certain chemical reaction occurred, or some stalks that were non-flammable.
The rest of the day was similar and uneventful.
Shortly before one, the many students met again in the great hall to have lunch.Siria was happy to have her two wolves with her again, as they were still asleep that morning and she hadn't wanted to wake them up.
"Where do we sit down?" asked Melanie who was just putting a bowl of strawberries on the tray.
"How about we sit down with Kira, she is always so alone." Ayumi suggested, which everyone agreed with.
At the table they greeted Kira, who turned around frightened: "What do you want?"
"We want to sit down with you!" explained Katt who was already there. The others did the same. Kira didn't have a chance to object.
"Tell me, Kira ... I want to ask you something else ..." Ayumi hesitated: "I thought Tine had the key yesterday, why was he with you all of a sudden?"
"Found ..." Kira said, hoping that the subject was off the table.
"But she couldn't have lost it ... I mean ... she had it on her necklace and it was still around her neck when the key was gone ..."Kira looked at Ayumi venomously: "Are you saying that I stole her ?!"
"But no!" she waved off: "I just want to know where you found him!"
"Out in the back yard, in the garden ..."
"And that's exactly it ... I didn't want to believe Tine when she told me where you found him, because she wasn't in the garden at all! How did he get there and how did you get the idea just come to look there? "
There was silence for a while until Kira
