eyes.
"We don't have to be lonely anymore. We can be friends," she decided. "But I have to know your name first. I'm Anzu."
"Yuugi.", He said quietly, but with a big smile on his face. For a brief moment he thought she was fooling him, but he didn't care. He wanted this moment, even if it was wrong; he no longer wanted to be without friends. But deep down he knew that she wasn't fooling him and that he really had found a friend for life.
“Yuugi!” A voice suddenly broke the moment. Yuugi jumped up and turned to his father's panicked voice. He looked so shocked, but at the same time ... there was a little pride in his eyes. "Why are you not at the machine?"
Yuugi just grinned broadly, he felt happy. His father was here and he saw that he was strong and breathing on his own! And he was talking to his new girlfriend.
-Daddy, I made a new friend. - he wanted to say. But of course life was never kind to this boy.
The moment he opened his mouth again, he felt as if his lungs had turned to stone. All that came out of his mouth was a choked sound.
"Yuugi?" Anzu asked worried, but he couldn't turn around to look at her. It hurt so much ...
But before he passed out, he could still see the look of disappointment and defeat on his father's face. And he knew
that his father would never see him strong.

The next time Yuugi began to stir, he did not find the normal tubes, but rather a large mask that covered his mouth and nose and helped him breathe. He closed his eyes. He still felt weak from what had happened before. He could hear voices ...
“You can't do that to him! He's your son!” That was grandfather's voice. Usually he was always cheerful, but now his voice was full of anger.
"This boy can never be strong, he will never survive! And ... and I refuse to see him keep dying. It's just too painful to keep hoping." His father sounded so sad, defeated.
So he worried ...
"Yuugi is stronger than you think, he survived that for six years and he is getting stronger every day. Please ... you can't give him up now, it would break his heart."
There was no answer and the room was filled with a great tension.Yuugi forced his eyes to open just as his father started walking to the door.
"I'm sorry, but I can't stay here ... I have assignments in America, I have to go ..."
"Daddy ..." Yuugi muttered into his mask. His voice made the man stiffen, his hand on the doorknob. "I love you."
There was no point in keeping him praying if he didn't respond to those words. Then it would be of no use to beg his father.
His father didn't even turn when he opened the door. He just muttered a hasty, 'I'm sorry, before leaving. And Yuugi knew; he had lost his father forever.
The little boy turned his sad eyes on his grandfather, who came to him on the spot and hugged him, he made him cry his heart, mumbled soothing words to him.
"Don't worry, Yuugi, he loves you, but he just can't watch you hurt.", He tried to explain.Yuugi sniffed and nodded as a sign that he understood. It was just like how he'd hated seeing Anzu cry ... but couldn't his father have stayed for him?
"Your mother and I will be there for you forever, Yuugi and we love you," his grandfather continued while pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. "And your new little friend will be there too."
Yuugi stopped crying for a moment, took the slip of paper and allowed a sad smile to appear on his face. A face that people described as angelic, and yet it was one that had already shown so much pain from his soul.
There was a number on the piece of paper and the words `` Call me whenever you feel alone. Anzu.´
But he still felt lonely, even with his grandfather or his mother he felt lonely. Because he still hadn't found that presence from before.
Once he found her, he would be complete.Because now he was only half of a whole.
-I'll find you soon. I promise it.-
