Chapter 5 ------ Where is the Miss Policewoman?
"What do you mean, gone?" Integra yelled angrily. But Walter stood quietly in front of her desk. And just nodded.
"Yes, Lady Integra. It has been two days now! And when I was in his rooms, I only found this letter here, addressed to you," he said. Then he handed her the white envelope with her name emblazoned in beautiful ornate script. She immediately took the snow-white paper from Walter's hand.
The butler bowed briefly before taking a few steps away from the desk.
Integra took the letter opener barely a heartbeat later. With a sweeping, practiced movement of the hand, cut open the top of the envelope. A small piece of paper fell towards her, with a ring that was oddly engraved.
"What the heck ...?" She wondered softly. She picked up the note. Walter eyed what was happening with interest.
"WHAT !! ??? How can he do that? Has Alucard left the last bit of his mind !?", shouted a woman's voice in the cellar of the Hellsing organization. "How dare he ...?" After these words, the woman ran to the door angrily. With a jerk she tore it open and walked out of her room, her face glowing red with anger.
Seras was angry. After finding this note in her closet.
> How can he say something like that? How can he do that !? He will pay for that! When I find out where he is. If you think I'll just let you go like that, then you don't know me well, Alucard. Even if you told me not to do anything. <With that thought a smile appeared on her face.
Meanwhile in Alicen's room
> I've been sitting here for three full days, staring at that stupid wall. And it gets more and more boring. <Alicen turned in her bed and looked at the side wall.> What's going on here? Everything is so calm. You haven't heard from my uncle for two days either. What am I supposed to do here anyway? <
She was getting tired of it. Alicen sat up with the pillow and looked around her room. > It's so dreary here! <She sighed with a sad face and lay back on the bed so she could stare at the wall above.
> Well, boredom? Mother? Yes, or do you not recognize my voice? <
> Yes, but it's too good to be true! You are ... <
> I know. Alicen, tell me, can you tell me where Alucard is? <
> No, I'm sorry. I haven't heard from him for two days. <
It was quiet for a few seconds, which made Alicen a little nervous.
> Mother? Mother? I am still here. Did you hear anything else here? <
Alicen looked puzzled. Why did her mother want to know? She was well advised to read minds, like herself.
> Um .. I didn't see anything. <> I see. Then only Lady Hellsing flew away from here. <
> How on earth, Lady Hellsing? What about her? <
> She follows Alucard. Didn't you notice? Alucard left here a good two days ago and Lady Hellsing is probably following him alone. <
> Really? Poor seras. Don't worry, everything will be fine. Yes, thank you. I will not worry anymore. <
> Best sleep! Then the day will soon be over again. <
> Yes, and another boring day starts all over again! <
> Yes ... that's right. Good sleep! What shoud that? Why am i so nervous? <
Again she looked around her room and this time no one was to be seen either.
> That feeling. What shoud that? What is wrong with me? <
Desperate, she buried her hands in her face.
Suddenly she heard a rumble, which made her startle.
"What? What was that?", She asked herself aloud and looked around again, but this time again she didn't see anything. Again there was a rumble from the floor and it was much louder.> I'd better have a look. <
So she got out of bed and padded to the door with her bare feet. Reluctantly, she took the handle and carefully pressed it down. Alicen knew it wasn't locked. The door opened without any problems and she was able to sneak out quietly. With careful steps she went to her door and closed it again. There was another rumble and this time Alicen could hear exactly where it was coming from. It could be heard from Sera's room what exactly was next to hers.
> Seras! <
Without paying attention to her steps, she stormed to Sera's door. She jerked the door open, but when she stormed in there was no one to be seen. Surprised and cautious, she went inside, but nothing could be seen even with her vampire eyes. "Seras?" She asked, slightly worried. "Hello? Seras ?!", but there was no answer.
> Maybe she's not here yet. But where does this sound come from? <Alicen looked around once more and when she didn't notice anything again, she turned around and walked slowly out of her room. She was just reaching the doorstep when a cold breeze brushed her neck and she noticed a familiar smell. Alicen was startled and turned around, but the only thing she could see were weak figures, laughing and disappearing into the wall. She wasn't sure, but it seemed like Seras was among them. "No. No!" She shouted and ran to the wall where she saw it, but it was too late, the room was empty.
> Seras, why? Why are you doing this? <
With a hard punch she hit the wall with tears, because she knew they were the brides and they took Seras with them.
After a few seconds she wiped away the tears. She knew crying didn't help, so she had to act. But how? Who could help her? Who should she tell?
Integra had been at the airport for over two hours now, waiting impatiently for the thick fog to clear. Since she was on this, the fog continued to appear and thickened more and more.Actually, this weather was normal for this country, but today it was visibly strange. Just like on the day of the attack on the dock workers.
Integra was still looking out the window and watching the Swabians slowly stacking on top of each other. It looked like a funny game, but Integra didn't put it on funny. She hated it because her time was running out and she couldn't afford to be late. Angry, she walked away from the large airport window and sat down on a chair with her drink to keep the waiting time standing. Her patience was running out and her nervousness increased. So it turned out that she not only tapped her fingers on the back of the chair, but that she also smoked a cigar and let out the smoke at short intervals. While she was doing this, she was paying close attention to the airport information controller, which was providing flight details. But it was the same as it was 15 minutes ago: "deleted". With force she crushed the cigar in the ashtray and pushed the last of the smoke out of her lungs."It's taking too long for me! Why does the fog have to come right now?"
She got up again and went to the window where the Swabians were playing their game. With a deep sigh, she turned around again and looked at the empty room with the many chairs.
"Walter!" She yelled through the whole property and ran up to the ground floor. "Walter ?! Come out!" She yelled again. She continued up to the next flight of stairs and was just taking another breath when suddenly a door opened. Immediately she stopped and looked at the door.
"Why are you calling for me? I thought you should stay in your room.", Spoke a deep voice from the open gate.
"Walter! There you are at last. I have to tell you something! Something important!"
Excited, she ran to him and took his trembling hand. "Walter, ... something terrible happened!"
Walter looked at the trembling little vampire.
"What are you talking about?"
Alicen went dumb and looked pale at him, even paler than she usually was. "Walter….they ... they ... they have seras ... "
"What about Seras?" "You have Seras…. The… the brides….!"
The butler looked confused.
"What do you mean? The brides !?" asked the butler, confused.
"Yes, the brides! They were here and down ... and they ... they were with Seras, they were with her ... they ..." Alicen stammered and her eyes flew wildly around, as if one of the brides was instantly going around Scurry corner. But Walter grabbed her arms carefully and tried to look into her eyes.
"Alicen ..."
There was no answer.
"Alicen!" Said Walter loudly.
"Yes…"
"Tell me again in peace."
The little vampire looked at the old butler and nodded slightly.
"Well then tell me what happened?"
With that he let go of her and straightened up again. Alicen looked at him with tears in her eyes and told him what she had seen.
Slowly the fog cleared, but the take-off permission was still not granted. Lady Hellsing sat back in her chair and smoked another cigar. She looked around again and still all the chairs were empty. She was about to start the new train when she heard a loud dong. She immediately listened.
"An announcement that the flights from London Airport to Central and Southern Europe are now open again. Please go to the corresponding gates of your destinations. I wish you a pleasant flight."
Integra took a sigh of relief because she was finally getting away from here. When she took the last train, she got up and walked with her bags to their respective gate. Integra had just been out for a few minutes when suddenly her cell phone rang. She stopped and rummaged in her purse, some things falling out.
"Shit.", It came from her lips, "Damn it, right now!"
"What is it?" She asked into the phone when she pulled it out of her pocket.
"Lady Hellsing?" She heard a male voice speak.
"Walter?"
"Yes."
"What else is there, Walter?" She asked, slightly irritated, collecting the rest of the lost things from her handbag."Well? Is there something with our guests or did ghouls show up?", She asked quickly and walked on.
"Lady Hellsing, something has happened."
"Walter. Out with it! I don't have much time!" She grumbled.
"Walter?" She asked again when there was no answer. But in this silence she noticed something that she didn't notice about Walter. She heard noises, noises that she could only hear in a car. Traffic, accelerate.
"Walter? Where are you?"
"Lady Hellsing, we
