Thomas caught his breath. It was the same photo that was hanging in their living room. The photo showed the same woman with the same smiling child and the same man. On the photo were Thomas and Liz with little Sophia!Liz was about to burst into tears and Thomas could hardly control himself either. It couldn't possibly be a coincidence! Impossible!!!
"Mom dad?"
The two recognized Sophia immediately, even though she looked much more adult and mature. She stood in the doorway and tears ran down her cheeks. Now there was no stopping Liz either. She burst into tears unrestrained and the otherwise so controlled Thomas shed quiet tears of joy.
Sobbing, the three fell into each other's arms.
