Chapter 5: The Secret Meeting
^^ Yes, I'm still aliveXD and this FF still does that, even if you don't see it. All threatening letters as always to the author, who is just too lazy at the moment ... sorry. Anyway, let's start with Chapter 5!

An unexpected noise broke the silence and the eyes of the gentleman in the blue cloak turned to his counterpart, who was wiping the shards of glittering moonlight from his pale skin.
"Your skills seem to be improving.", Remarked the young man and poured pure, amber-colored cognac into two glasses provided. The other wiped his short, brown hair and jumped elegantly like a cat from the window pan, against which he leaned in the next moment.
"I heard we had customers."
His master nodded.
"Yes, orders from above."
"Who?"
The black-haired man handed his student a glass before examining the many broken pieces."As always, a terrific performance.", He remarked and pulled out a silver lighter that he immediately put to the cigarette in his mouth. The faces of the participants were illuminated for a short time until the darkness covered their identities in perfect black again.
"The order?" Urged the other, before taking a quick sip of his cognac.
"Here…"
His features hardened as the brown-haired man stared at the small picture and studied the person on it.
"Mmmm ... seems like a big deal to me."
Smoke flooded the room. His teacher closed his eyes from exhaustion.
"That's exactly why it has to be quick. Tomorrow, at 12 o'clock at night, we'll get it over with. After that," The Settler "will only be a myth."
The young woman looked nervously out of the window. Raindrops littered the facade of the tall building (A: Yes, yes, it's raining again ... I know) and the wind made the nearby trees tremble.
Christin sighed. She had to find a way out of this mess or her plan would never work. That bastard had actually dared to persuade her to take a room with him and that for the next five months as well
She could still feel his lips on hers and this incredible feeling that slowly warmed her body. Had that one kiss from an arrogant iceberg thrown her off course? Hah! Ridiculous!
Kaiba was just a puppet to her, a toy she would get rid of.
She slid faintly down the windowpane and listened to the sound of the rain. Tears slipped down her delicate face like pearls as she remembered the incident that had changed her life. It was so many years ago. At that time she had sworn she would never cry again…. and never to love again. Love was something no business man could afford, and certainly not a woman. In an industry in which you had to fight and fear for your belongings every day.In an industry where you were disappointed every day, there were no feelings ... there could be no feelings.
Lost in her thoughts, she did not notice someone entering the room and quietly closing the door behind them.
"Well?" She heard her guest say before turning around and looking into two narrow, blue eyes.
"Do you already have a plan to rob Kaiba of his life?", Zigfried asked interested and sat down in the black leather armchair that was in front of Christin's desk. Christin, on the other hand, remained seated. She had neither the inclination nor the time to deal with Zigfried's comments. The pink-haired (A: How that sounds ...) had always been very peculiar in such matters.
"Don't you want to answer me?" He said, offended, and got up. In a few steps he reached Christin and lifted her chin. It was getting too colorful for the businesswoman. She quickly slipped away from his finger and left her office without another word."So let's go.", Said Zigfried with a smile.
Christin pushed her way carelessly through the large entrance hall of her company. At this time, a lot of people always came here. Some picked up friends from work. Others, like Christin, had urgent business to attend to. With their cell phones open, most of them could be seen walking through this room, towards the information desk or to their boss's office, where a hostile secretary was already waiting for them.
Christin also took out her little phone, hastily keyed in a number and pressed the little device to her ear with an elegant swing. She waited until a familiar voice answered and asked about her request.
"Same place, same time. I expect you to remain unrecognized. Oh yes, and bring me your condition report at the same time. I want to know what my beloved stepfather is racking his brain about."
With that, the cell phone disappeared into Christin's jacket pocket. Fast steps could be heard over the noble marble floor, so that some people looked up from their work and immediately cleared the way for the orange-haired man.Christin didn't like this behavior at all. She would have preferred if these people had cleared their desks immediately and then ran into unemployment with their heads held high. In reality, however, the boss repeatedly had to be content with "asking" these people to come into her office in order to then personally kick them out. Women mostly burst into tears, with men she could always rely on their bodyguards. A sigh escaped her when she finally reached her limousine and gave the driver a rude instruction:
"In the Taunussgasse, will it be soon?"
The chauffeur paused. Did he just get it right?
"Sorry miss, but ..." he began, but was held back by Christin's expression.
The exit opened and the black car blurred with countless vehicles. He glided silently through the streets of Tokyo and found his way to the desired destination. Taunussgasse, one of the most dangerous places in the city.Where little children disappeared every day. There, where crime never slept and was far from being containable.
The elongated car drove faster and faster through the darkness of the night, was swallowed up by it until a place occupied by mud became visible, which with its sparse green was not exactly inviting. A cool look scanned the area when the door was opened and the cold wind brushed Christin's shoulders.
"Shall I wait here, miss?" Asked the frightened chauffeur, glancing in the rearview mirror.
"It won't take long," said the cool woman's voice and strode towards the fenced-in area. Not far she could see several groups of trees, which were visibly sick and swayed their leaves in the gentle wind, if they still had any. Freezing with the colder, she pulled her jacket tighter around her narrow shoulder blades. She never thought she would find herself here again. This place evoked memories in her that she preferred not to think back on.But now was not the time to indulge in them. Reaching the middle of the square, she stopped and waited for her business partner, who a few minutes later revealed his face. Wrapped in a blue cloak, he seemed slender to Christian than before. His blue eyes were framed by a tight-fitting mask, as were his brown streaks, which flitted over his face and revealed no detail of his identity.
"Anything of interest to me, Ms. Satorishi?" He said with a smile and tucked his mask a little.
The slim woman nodded.
"I have an assignment for you."
"So?" He said surprised and looked the other person straight in the eye. She smiled lustfully.
"I want you to prove your skills again."
The brown-haired man raised an eyebrow.
"I beg you, Aoi-san. Haven't I done this many times?"
Christin's smile faded when he mentioned her name. Yellow eyes looked down like daggers at the brown-haired man and gave him a sideways look."I'm warning them. They don't know who they're messing with ... settlers."
A shot could be heard and the slender man's body moved in front of Christin at lightning speed, grabbed the woman in front of him and jumped elegantly to the side. Two figures, whose faces could not be read from this distance, walked slowly towards their colleague.
"What a surprise," said the settler, who eyed the two men with a sure-fire expression.
"Cognac and Carasonne. What a pleasure to see you both here."
The men laughed.
"Yes, it was a long time ago.", The one replied and grinned down at the little couple in the darkness.
"You know.", Cognac began and put a cigarette between the corners of his mouth. "When we heard that the settler was back in town, we naturally wanted to pay our old friend a visit immediately and give him a gift of appreciation."
His hands slowly went down to his trouser pockets to find a lighter.Without losing his composure, the next moment he caught one that the settler had thrown at him with an elegant throw.
"Do you need fire?" Asked the masked man with a grin, but immediately dropped his hand around Christin's waist, who didn't find it particularly intoxicating.
"Thank you.", Cognac replied shortly and looked at Carasonne, who had followed the spectacle with a serious look.
Christin bit her lower lip painfully. These men were completely unknown to her, even though she knew their business very well. In the past, the orange-haired woman had already given the organization many orders and that was due to the ability to act quickly, which her members (all including skilled murderers) had demonstrated. Probably the most skillful and also most famous of them seemed to be the brown-haired, masked "settler", whose trademark was mysterious single murders, which he used to carry out with his white pistol. The police had been looking for him for several years now, but at any time since the authorities could be sure that they had caught him, he escaped again without any evidence.Cognac had finished smoking his cigarette and threw the rest of the leftover tobacco carelessly on the brown earth.
"Unfortunately our friendship ends here," he said curtly and pulled out a silver pistol.
The settler smiled and did the same.
"Oh, please. I was looking forward to seeing you again in good company."
Carasonne dared a step forward and pointed to Christin.
"What do we do
