She felt a sharp pain on the back of her neck. And then her eyes went black.
Tenderly, Sasuke laid her on a stone bench that stood nearby.
He glanced once more at her delicate face.
Sasuke reached out to touch her cheek and wipe away the tears, but pulled it back.
Then he turned his back on her and disappeared into the darkness between the trees.

Sakura blinked in the sun and startled. "SASUKE !!" she shouted into the morning. But he wasn't there. Not a Sasuke who would throw the usual meanness at her head when she approached him. Mute tears ran down her cheeks. "Sasuke .." she whispered "Why? Why did you leave ?? That's not fair!" she fell on her knees sobbing ....
