This was an essay I wrote for school a few weeks ago.

Only the moonlight illuminated the otherwise dark forest. The moonlight wasn't very strong, but it was enough to see. Panicking, paying attention to every step, Deira ran through the darkness of the night. He was chasing her, she knew that. But then why did he, her brother, even let her flee? Just to catch her again now? Could that be it? Deira didn't know. She ran on. It was only after several minutes that she sat down on a rock, completely exhausted. She took a deep breath. Suddenly she heard it rustle. Startled, Deira turned in the direction from which the noise had come. He was here, she could feel that very well. "Damn it!" she cursed softly and walked slowly backwards, because she didn't want to lose sight of her ´enoe´. Again it rustled between the leaves of the trees.Something black jumped up to them and charged. She skillfully dodged his attack and jumped backwards. Another attack followed in the next moment. Deira could only dodge this very badly. As a result, her brother met her. One of his kunai hit her in the right shoulder. But she ignored it, there was no time for that at the moment, she had to escape him first. She was able to breathe for a brief moment before more Kunai and Shuriken rushed towards her. Again she could barely avoid it. The kunai in her shoulder and the resulting loss of blood made her difficult. She quickly jumped behind a tree to avoid the nearest weapons. This time she got off the pitch in time. Deira leaned against the tree for a moment, grabbed the kunai in her shoulder, gripped the handle tightly and pulled it out with a jerk. It hurt a lot when she pulled out the blade. The kunai's blade was smeared with blood, Deira's clothes soaked in blood on her shoulder and torso. The stabbing pain in her shoulder that never stopped made her almost forget that she was on the run. She was quickly on the alert again. Just in time, because in the next moment more kunai and shuriken bored into the tree trunk around them. She had lost sight of her brother and couldn't make out where he was at the moment. Deira decided to flee. As quietly and as quickly as possible, she used Kagebunshin no jutsu to create a doppelganger. He was supposed to distract her brother only until she had at least a small head start. While her doppelganger was now avoiding her brother's weapons, she ran away through the forest. She had to hurry, because her doppelganger would last two minutes at most, but only that long if her brother gave her the head start. She had no chance against him, she knew that and it scared her.
Deira kept running through the thick, dark forest.Only after several hours did she finally leave him. Although she had finally left the forest behind, she was far from safe. She paused by a river nearby. She took a deep breath and tried to calm her breath. Powerless, she leaned against a tree. Slowly she let herself slide down him. Her hand went to her injured shoulder and rested on it. Inwardly she cursed that she had no healing powers like the Medic-Nin. She carefully rummaged in her pocket for bandages. After a few seconds she found it. She quickly took it out and tried to bandage her shoulder, but she couldn't. Bandaging your shoulder itself could be quite difficult if you weren't very agile at the moment. After a number of tries, she finally gave up, put her hand on her aching shoulder and let it rest there. She carefully closed her eyes to rest for a moment. But after a few seconds she was powerless and painfully asleep.
But she did not sleep long, because when she came to it only dawned. The sun bathed her surroundings in a beautiful red. Her eyes ached a little because the sun blinded her. But she didn't mind because the bigger problem was her shoulder. It didn't hurt too much anymore, but it had lost a lot of blood and urgently needed treatment. Slowly she got up and went to the river bank. She wanted a drink. Deira knelt on the floor, leaned forward slightly, dipped her hands into the crystal clear, cold river water and splashed it on her face to wake up. Suddenly the slightly damp ground under her legs gave way and she forwarded into the icy water. Frightened and panicked, she paddled around with her left arm and legs. The river was deeper and the current stronger than expected. Deira was desperate, she couldn't swim.Neither her brother nor her parents when she lived with them had taught her. Since the river was pretty wide, she couldn't make it back to land either. The current carried them away. After a few minutes she had completely passed out.
The current drove them many kilometers downstream. It was only fished out of the water in the desert land of Suna. Unconscious, badly injured and half frozen, or almost dead. That was the state in which she was pulled out of the water by her rescuers. Crazy rescuers wrapped her in blankets and put her by a fire, and took care of her shoulder as best she could. It was morning when Deira passed out. She blinked a few times to let her eyes get used to the brightness. She put her left hand to her forehead. It was very hot. Carefully she straightened up. She supported herself with the other hand so as not to tip over, but she pulled her arm away so suddenly that she did it.Her arm had started to hurt. Deira also knew why: The injury on her shoulder hurt badly. She was also dizzy. With her eyes open she now lay on one and under two blankets and stared at the sky. How on earth did she get here?
Suddenly there was a rustling behind her. She was frightened. "She is awake.", Deira heard someone say. "You're right," said a second voice. Both voices had been male, although she wasn't so sure about the first that it was really a man who had spoken. Deira heard steps that came closer and closer. First the two stood next to her, but then they crouched down and Deira could see their faces. One had purple make-up on his face that formed a pattern. His eyes were black. On the headgear, with cat ears, which he wore, the symbol of Sunagakure was emblazoned in front. The other person had black hair with two strands hanging down either side of their face. She had probably pinned the rest of the hair up and fastened it with a rubber band. She had brown eyes. "You're finally awake," said the one with the black hair. The voice really sounded very feminine. She nodded cautiously. "What's your name?" Asked the other. His voice sounded much more manly. "My name is Deira.", She replied with a cough. "So Deira.", Said the person with the feminine voice. "Where are you from?" Asked the other. "I come from Kumo. But I was born in Suna." "From Kumo? What did you want there? Are you a messenger?" Asked the one with the cat ears. Deira shook her head. "My name is Kankuro," said the one with the cat ears. "And mine is Haku. Nice to meet you," said the other. Deira blushed. She thought Haku was a woman. "Nice to meet you too," she said. "It would be best if we take Deira with us to Sunagakure.", Kankuro said, "The Kazekage will already know what to do." Kankuro put a hand on Deira's shoulder. This migrated from there to her forehead. "You have a fever," he stated. "Now what?", Haku said, "If we take it with us, one of us has to carry it." "Good. Then I'll carry it." "Well, now that this is clarified, we should pack up our things and be on our way if we want to arrive before tonight.", Haku said and also got up. Kankuro nodded. "Can I help you somehow?", Deira asked carefully. She was weakened, but she didn't want to sit around doing nothing. "No!" Haku replied immediately. "But ...", she wanted to interject, but Kankuro interrupted her: "You should rest. You have a very high fever and your shoulder is also not okay again. So sit down by the fire and sleep." Deira nodded carefully and sat down as Kankuro had said to himself by the fire. She fell asleep quickly.
While she slept, she was carried from Kankuro to Sunagakure, which they had reached in the late afternoon.Kankuro immediately brought the sleeping one to the Kazekage, his brother Gaara. He didn't really know what to do with the sleeping girl either, so he decided to wake her up by simply pouring a bucket of water over her head. Soaking wet and frightened, Deira jumped up: "WHAT ?!" "Don't worry.", Kankuro said soothingly, "You are in the Kazekage's office." Deira nodded carefully. The Kazekage asked them to sit down. Obediently, she did so immediately. Gaara sat across from her and Kankuro sat down next to her. "Who are you? And where are you from?", The Kazekage came straight to the point. "My name is Deira Kugimiya.", She replied, "I come from Suna ... Actually ... I lived in Kumo for the last 8 years." Gaara frowned, "Were you a ninja?" Deira shook her head, "No, not directly ... I lived with my brother. "" I see ... What brings you to Suna? "" Where my brother lives, it's not very pleasant ... I didn't want to stay there any longer and fled ... "" Fled? Why this? Didn't he mean to let you go? "" You could also call it that ... "" I see ... "Again the person opposite frowned. He had a bad feeling about this girl. Why didn't he know exactly." Deira ... Do you have any relatives in Sunagakure? "She nodded:" Yes ... a grandmother ... if she's still alive. "" Good ... Then we'll talk more tomorrow. You should go to her now. If she is no longer alive, come back and Kankuro will show you a place to sleep. ", said Gaara and made her understand with a wave that she should go. She nodded, got up and left the office.
She made her way to her grandmother's house. This was actually still alive. She was sitting on a bench in front of the house. She walked very slowly towards them. She stopped a few yards from the old woman. "Deira?", She heard the voice say, "Is that you?" Deira walked slowly towards her grandmother. "Yes, grandmother. It's me."Her grandmother got up and came towards
