Sixth chapter:
"Everyone has a dark side!"

After half an hour the kite started to land. Jessica had thought of a name for her kite during the flight: she wanted to call it Saphir. After all, it was her dragon. He was part of their soul and so they were bound to each other.

Suddenly the footsteps stopped and something stood over her head, but so that she couldn't see it. Two green-gray claws grabbed her arms and pulled her up. The creature banishes her eyes and dragged her behind him.
She didn't know how much time had passed, but at some point she let go of the being and she sank to the ground.She heard noises. They looked familiar to her and suddenly she remembered it again: She had heard such noises when she first used her animal spirit. It was that booming sound like scratching metal.
She stayed where she was and tried as best she could to stay calm. Where was sapphire? Where was Jáy? What would these creatures do to her?
After a short time they straightened Jessica. Her hands were tied together with a strange rope and fastened somewhere. The handkerchief, or whatever it was, was taken from her eyes. She saw something under her on the ground. It was hanging in the air! Now she saw what she had kidnapped: It was a dirty green creature with torn wings, a thin tail with a stinger at the end, pointed yellow teeth, long claws, bright green eyes and kinked legs. It had spikes on its elbows and knees, and its spine protruded.More than a hundred of them were walking around in some kind of large room, the rock walls of which lined many corridors, Jessica assumed that
she was in a cave trying to make out sapphire. He lay in the midst of the many creatures that looked the same and were more or less the same size. .
They kept making that scratchy noise and moving things around.
Many stood around the kite and looked at it. One of the monsters grabbed the spear and pulled it out with a jerk. Jessica screamed in pain. Even sapphire showed that he was in pain, but he lacked the strength to scream. Jessica tried to concentrate the last of her strength. She could accumulate something. She tried to turn sapphire back into a part of her soul. She saw that the dragon was beginning to become transparent. After a few seconds there was only a cloud left of him, which floated up to her and penetrated her. That feeling came over her again.The monsters looked up at her in disbelief. They turned away again and pretended that nothing had happened.
A little later the beings got hectic and ran around. A larger but otherwise identical creature came in through one of these passages. The others threw themselves on the floor and seemed to worship it. There was silence and the creature who was probably their king or something like that spoke to them in a deep voice. The dull, scratchy sound boomed in Jessica's ears. She had almost no strength left and hung lifeless in the air. She felt tired. Only a few minutes passed and she fell asleep.

When she woke up again she was no longer hanging in the air, but lying on the floor. Her leg had been splinted and the shackles removed.
She sat up and got up. The rail, which looked complicated but only consisted of branches and leaves, made her stand up. She had regained strength through sleep, but she didn't know what to do now."Why did these creatures splint my leg? Why did they first ´hang me´ and then bring me back down? Why did they bring me here?" It approached and got louder. That just could not be the case. Jáy! She heard Jáy's voice! She was happy to meet him.
"Probably," she thought, "they caught Jáy too!"
He came in through one of the corridors, followed by several monsters. He saw her and went up to her. Something struck Jessica as weird. Otherwise Jáy's eyes had been clear and friendly, but now he looked ice cold and grinned slightly.
"Ah, Jessica, how are you?" He asked sardonically.
