Drachengeist
Feeling got stronger and stronger, but now she couldn't go back. Right next to the dragon she went into the cave to estimate how big it was, but it was too dark to see anything, but each of her steps stopped for a long time, so she guessed that she was quite tall. She actually wanted to lie down and sleep straight away, but suddenly she winced and a tremendous shiver ran down her spine when she heard the scratching noises of the Gargoille again. There were many voices, very many, but she wasn't sure because they all spoke at once. They had probably already noticed her and the dragon. She quickly turned and ran out of the cave with the kite. As she turned around, she heard that they were already being followed. They had intended to take the Dragon Spirit Crystal from the Gargoyles, but there were too many; there was no need to count them. The fifteen Gargoille that Jáy had sent off with Jessica might still be able to outsmart them, but this group was at least 50! They couldn't do that!
When they ran and was followed by the gargoyles, Jessica ran to her kite and grabbed a horn again with one hand. It would be more difficult to climb onto the kite's back while running, but they didn't have time to stop. She tried to jump off while running and catapult herself onto the kite's back, but on the first try she slammed into the kite's flank and almost fell. She pulled herself up and tried again. She tried to push off as hard as possible and literally flew onto Saphire's back. She pressed her legs to the kite's belly again and held onto its horns. The many voices of the Gargoille were and already very close. They had to hurry up and take off. In the next instant, Sapphire lost the ground under his paws and took off. He had already unfolded his wings and was rowing wildly with them in the air to gain height quickly. After a few seconds, it seemed to Jess, they were already out of range of the Gargoille. After she escaped them, she thought, they must have gone back, fetched reinforcements and continued looking for her and that evening they wanted to stay in this cave and the next day they wanted to continue looking for the fugitive, but they too wanted to get in settled in this cave and escaped after so many Gargoille after them. After ten to fifteen minutes they landed again on a mountainside with a forest of many different tree species. Jessica found a place under a tree, lay down and fell asleep immediately. She was exhausted and still a bit surprised and shocked and just wanted to sleep. The dragon lay down next to her and seemed to sleep immediately; it had to be the same for him. In the shelter of the kite from the wind Jessica slept well, but she was also far too exhausted to feel the cold wind and the hard, wet ground below.
