laugh and hugged, then immediately ran back behind T.K. and Karin here. The two already knew the airs of their brothers and so it was actually quite normal for them that Tai and Matt suddenly started arguing, but just as quickly made up again.
In the subway, Tai and Matt explained what had happened to their siblings. They showed them the letter and in the end they both came to the conclusion that they would also go back to the Digiwelt if danger threatened again.Matt and Tai made out that they were T.K. and take Karin home and then meet at Izzy's half an hour later.
It wasn't until relatively late that Tai realized that he had been a bit stingy with half an hour. After all, Izzy was now living at the end of the, but quite long, street and he had to tell him that he and Matt would come, too. Slowly but surely he began to panic and so he dragged Karin behind him while he tried again and again to get her to run. But Karin was so exhausted from the trip that she was glad that her feet were still carrying her at all.
When Tai and Karin got home, Tai only stayed a quarter of an hour. He ran into the kitchen, reported back to his mother, grabbed an apple as he ran, shoved it deep into his mouth, as if he were about to devour it with one bite. In fact, he took a huge bite, choked it down, and went back into the hallway, single-mindedly towards the phone.As if by itself, Izzy's number dialed. The dial tone sounded and Tai swallowed another bite of apple just in time.
"Koushiro, yes?"answered a boy's voice.
"How good your turn is Izzy. It's Tai.", Taichi replied.
"I know your voice, I recognize it among thousands. What is it about?"
"Matt and I will just drop by your place in a moment. We have to show you something important. I don't have any more time, so see you soon, bye.
[i]"Hey Tai, wait a minute ..., Tai ... !!!"came the call from the receiver, but Tai hung up without paying attention to Izzy's calls. He quickly slipped into his shoes, put on his jacket and called to his mother:
"Mom, I'll go to Izzy again quickly, I'll be back soon."
Before his mother could argue, the door slammed shut and Tai stormed down the stairs.
Fortunately, the rain had not started again and on the way to Izzy's house there were yellowish light-giving lanterns that improved Tai’s view a little.Somehow he was uncomfortable, but he didn't know why and so he didn't think about it any further, but put all his energy into the race.

About 5 minutes later, Tai arrived in front of Izzy's house. Gasping loudly, he looked around for Matt, but he was nowhere to be seen. That made him a little puzzled, but he thought nothing more and decided to go in and wait there for Matt.
Meanwhile his breathing had normalized again and so he was ready to ring the doorbell. He put his index finger on the doorbell and quietly heard the ringing inside the house. Only a few seconds later the door opened and Izzy was standing in front of Tai. The grim expression on his face indicated that he was far from pleased, but Tai didn't think there was time for that.
"Thank you Izzy for letting us see you. Is Matt there yet?"asked Tai while squeezing past Koushiro without waiting for an answer.
Shaking his head, Izzy looked at his buddy and said:"Bold as ever ... and no, Matt has not come yet. But maybe you can tell me now what it is about now."
"Oh yes ... of course I can. Wait ..., here!"
Tai had pulled the letter out of his pocket and held it out to Izzy. He also examined the scrap of paper, which was now even more wrinkled. After he finished his exam, he took a closer look at the contents of the letter. When he had finished and wandered his eyes from the letter back to Tai, he asked incredulously:
[i]"But that's not one of your stupid jokes again?"
"Izzy!"shouted Tai, very indignant, whereupon he glanced at his watch again.
"Matt will be able to assure you right away that this is by no means a joke!"added Tai, with noticeable nervousness. Tai was about to start talking again when the doorbell rang.Before Izzy, Tai had jumped to the door and had already pulled it wide open. But the disappointment and also the surprise with Tai was big when Matt wasn't standing in front of the door and with Izzy's mother, that not the son but his friend opened the door for her. After the initial shock, Tai's manners came back quickly and he bowed respectfully to Izzy's mother and quickly clarified the situation, if not entirely truthfully:
"Excuse my late appearing, but I have important work to do and I thought Izzy might be able to help me. But if I disturb, I will of course go again."
"No, no Tai, you don't bother. On the contrary, it's really nice when Izzy's friends come to visit.", she replied with a smile and then disappeared towards the living room.
"Crazy as if you had two faces.", Izzy scoffed and had to laugh out loud at Tai's horrified expression. But Tai, who looked at his watch again, didn't feel like laughing.Matt still hadn't shown up, and he was almost three quarters of an hour overdue. Tai was used to Matt not being the most punctual and otherwise he didn't mind, but today was somehow different. He felt danger everywhere, a strange, oppressive feeling overcame him, which he couldn't get rid of until he was standing in the light. Tai was deep in his thoughts and so he didn't even hear Izzy calling his name, only when his hand suddenly touched his shoulder did Tai startle out of his thoughts and react again to Izzy's calls.
"Is everything okay with you Tai?"
"What? Oh ..., yes, of course."
"Okay then let's go to Matt now."
[i]"What?"
"Tai, you are kind of strange. I just suggested you go to Matt quickly and see if everything is okay."
[i]"Yes, that's a good idea, we'll do it!"
"Well then let's go wait here, I'll just let you know."Tai nodded, whereupon Izzy rushed down the hall and turned into the living room. A short moment later he came hurrying back and shoved Tai straight out the door.
But all of a sudden Tai stopped and grabbed Izzy by the arm.
"Wait Izzy! Did you take your Digivice with you?"asked Tai.
"Sure I have what you think ?!"replied Izzy and hurried on.
"Come on, we have to hurry! I told my mother we'd be right back."
[i]"Oh no ...! Don't run again!", Tai grumbled, while he slowly started to move. But Izzy just laughed and kept walking.
A short time later they had arrived in front of Matt's door and Tai's finger moved towards the doorbell in almost slow motion.
As almost expected, Matt's father opened the door to them, but Tai didn't even have to ask about him because he received an answer in advance.
"Matt and T.K. had to leave again very urgently! But I don't know where.I'm really sorry, Tai. "
[i]"Oh um yes, it doesn't matter. Thank you for the information, Mr. Ishida. Good evening!", Tai stammered and then turned away. Thoughtfully, he looked at the starry sky and repeated the words he had heard earlier:

[i]"Gennai. We all got a mail from him. He said we can't wait any longer, we should come, listen to him and then make a decision."[i]"Well that explains why we didn't meet Matt and T.K. And how do you get there?"
[i]Don't worry about that! Joe will pick me up here. You two would rather see that you are there in time. "
"We will. Thanks for calling us, see you soon."
Izzy took the phone from her ear and hung up. Tai, who had followed the conversation as best he could, was visibly happier and more ready to finally walk.
In fact, Tai and Izzy just managed to get on the subway and hoped to get there on time.
