Oberlask Damm
Chapter 1
It was a quiet Friday afternoon and Sgt. Cortez was sitting on a wooden chair in front of the laboratory gate. The cold wind pulled past Sgt. Cortez's balaclava and let his breath be seen. The dam, which was always frozen in winter, was covered in snow and you could see the fish in the water that had frozen from the winter rigor. Sgt. Cortez was just about to start his break when suddenly: "Sgt. Cortez! Help ... Argh ..." rang out from his walkie-talkie. There was nothing to be heard and it was quiet for a while, but then Sgt. Cortez took his lab card and inserted it into the card slot. It glowed red but after a beep the light switched to green. The lab door opened and he went into the lab. As soon as he was inside the light was off. He closed the door behind him, turned on his flashlight, and shone across the room. Sgt. Cortez had his pistol ready and ran a few paces forward. He saw some drops of blood on the floor that led to the experiment room. Sgt.Cortez walked slowly but firmly into the experiment room and saw the further he went, the more blood on the floor. Suddenly he heard a scream from another room.
