Chapter 2 _ The journey begins

"Anna? Anna! Wake up! Please!"> Who's there? Where am I? I don't feel my body. <"Anna ?!"> Who is calling me? This voice. Yoh? <I am waking up slowly. I try to open my eyes but my vision is blurry. "Yoh ...?" I can't get out more. My throat feels like my air is being cut off. "Anna! Thank God! Yes, it's me. Are you okay? What happened?" My head hurts. But it's getting better. Now I can see clearly again. I try to sit up because I'm on the ground. But I can't do it alone. But then I feel how an arm is put around me and pulls me up until I'm seated. "Yoh" I whisper. “Yes?” “We have to go right now. Ren is in trouble.” Yoh stares at me. "What? Ren? What happened?" I can't explain it to him now.I still feel pretty weak. "Please Yoh. We have to go. I'll tell you everything later." Yoh nodded. "Ok, Anna. If that's what you want." I feel him pick me up and bring me into the living room. Then he lays me on a blanket that we have ready for cold days. Then he disappears through the door with Manta.
I feel like I've slept for a couple of hours when I wake up. I feel my body vibrate. Since I'm not fully awake yet, I can see everything blurred again. “Anna?” There is Yoh's voice again. Then I realize where I am. I'm sitting on a seat on the train and I'm attached to Yoh. He must have been pretty worried. "Hello Yoh ..." I say in a weak voice. When I look up at him, he starts smiling again. “Are you okay?” I nod. "I did everything as you wanted. We'll be with Ren in about 2 hours." "Good." Only now do I see that Manta is sleeping on the opposite seat. "Did I sleep late?" i want to know."So 2 or 3 hours in any case." "Oh ..." "Oh no problem. The main thing is that you are better again." I nod again. "Yoh. I need to talk to you." Yoh's smile disappeared. But only briefly. "Yeah, sure. What's wrong?" Then I start telling him everything. From the feeling to the voice. Yoh looked worried. "You went through a lot, didn't you? I was really worried about you. Suddenly you stopped moving and fell backwards. I wasn't standing far behind you and could still catch you."> Ah, the feeling ! I felt like someone was hugging me. That will probably have been it. <"Thanks Yoh.", I whisper very softly. My throat was still quite sore. “Sure.” Yoh's smile widened. "Take some rest. So that you are fit again." But I can no longer answer him because I feel calm. I feel myself slowly falling asleep.
"Anna. Anna!"> Who is calling me?Ah this is yoh. <I slowly open my eyes and stand up. "We'll be there in a moment. Now we just have to go to the Taos mansion. I hope you're okay." I just nod again. My head still hurts, but otherwise I feel better. "Hey Yoh! What do you mean, what happened? Whether you were attacked?" Manta wants to know, who has just got up and is putting on his jacket. "I don't know.", Yoh replies. I've never seen him so thoughtful. He must have thought a lot. Otherwise he'll never think about what he's doing. I don't even know him like that. "Dear passengers. We are about to reach the next station. This train ends here. Please get off when you arrive. Thank you very much." That was the train conductor's voice that came over the loudspeakers. "Ok, let's go!", Yoh says suddenly and walks towards the door. Manta follows immediately. I have a bad feeling again. But I can't let Yoh go aloneSo I'll go right after you too. I feel the train slowing down until it finally stops.
It's pretty cold outside. > Well, Yoh thought about bringing warm jackets. <"So, now we just have to go to Ren.", Yoh says behind me. "Will a taxi take us there?" Manta ponders. "Probably not," laughs Yoh. "We'll probably have to go on foot." I say something to say. "On foot? Can you do it, Anna?" Asks Yoh with a concerned undertone. "Well, listen. Are you saying that I'm weak?" I poisoned him. I feel uncomfortable when I'm so fragile. "No Anna. Of course not.", Grins Yoh. Suddenly he looks happier again. "Good. I can show you with your new extra-hard training that I'm not weak." After this sentence I just turn away and go ahead. The two of them whisper behind me. But I don't understand anything. Still, I have an inkling of what topic they both have.
After a good hour we actually arrived at the Taos estate.It is a huge house in the middle of a bare rock landscape. I realize that something is wrong. “Yoh!” I don't need to say more because he nods. "Yes, I also feel that something is wrong here." Then I see how he draws his sword and Amidamaru comes out of his death tablet. Manta is walking around excitedly behind us again. > He's probably scared again. <"Hey you two.", Yoh tells us. "Just stay close to me, will you?" "Yes." I say curtly. Manta also agrees.
We walk slowly towards the house until we stand in front of the completely destroyed gate.
Suddenly a cold shiver runs down my spine and I hear that laugh again. "Yoh! He's here! He's here !!" I said excitedly. The fear rises in me. I feel it enveloping me, but I won't let it get me down. > I have to fight it.
