She opened the door and went inside. There, sitting on an armchair and absorbed in his work, was Kaiba. Renai pulled himself together and opened his mouth. Why was he wasting his time here with her? "I didn't want to disturb her in her work. I'd better come back later and go ................... for a walk with Mokuba." Already she was through the door with Mokuba and in front of the elevator. "I have to tell you something," she said softly to the black-haired boy. They drove down. There was silence. When they were in the great hall, Manfred stood back at his place and said goodbye to both of them. Renai went to Domino Park with Mokuba. "Renai? Are you all right?" Mokuba looked worried. "Everything's fine. You can also call me Ai, that's shorter," she smiled. "I ... I lied." She looked a little desperate. It was getting dark and Mokuba had to go home, otherwise Kaiba would be worried too. "If you absolutely need that now, why don't you stay with us for a while?" Mokuba hoped longingly for a yes. Renai looked at him. Did he really expect to sleep in a house with something called Kaiba? Just over her corpse. But at the thought she got scared. After Mokuba's eyes he would surely do that.
