Herzblut trinkt man nicht
Forest of Terror
Slowly and careful to take every step almost silently, the young Shinobi approached the team of three. Aimi pressed the kunai to the helpless boy's neck, accidentally cutting. When he felt the pain and the warm blood on his skin, he screamed. His comrade stopped dead.
The girl's eyes widened in alarm. Kai started moving directly towards the startled girl. "Well? How about the role?" Sighing, she bowed her head. "Well ..." she said and her teammate looked at her reproachfully. She looked back poisonously. She long in one of her pockets, took out a scroll. Kai took it and went back to Neyo and Aimi, who just let go of the injured boy. Hastily he stumbled back to his team.
Aimi sighed. Another heavenly scroll ...
Kai and Neyo didn't show anything. They rushed away and Aimi followed them. Neyo put the role in the race and kept walking. "That's impossible!" Kai cursed loudly. He heard someone's footsteps and stopped. "I'll do." He said and the other two kept walking.
It was Tenten's team. Kai smiled. "You have an earth scroll, don't you?" Kai asked safely. The three looked at him, confused. “You're wondering how I know that, aren't you?” A startled nod. "I just know. I wonder ..." He pulled his scroll from his pocket. "Shall I unbutton yours or give me mine?" Neji glared at him.
Kai had bad premonitions. "Here!" he threw his part to Tenten. Perplex caught her and watched him disappear into the bushes. He quickly caught up with Neyo and Aimi. "Didn't feel like it," he said.
"That means we only have two roles left?" Aimi asked and Kai just nodded.
Neyo shrugged. He didn't care how many of each kind they had, he just wanted to pass. Suddenly he turned left. He got faster and stopped in front of a Genin team so abruptly that Aimi ran into him."Oops ..." she muttered and backed away. Kai stopped next to her. "Earth roll here!" demanded Neyo coldly.
"The boy who was sitting on the floor got up." Never. "He said resolutely. Neyo threw a kunai at him, which injured his shoulder although he evaded. Kai closed his eyes and quickly created an illusion when he opened his eyes again, watching the three, who were still almost children , her death and that of her comrades.
As soon as the illusion was over, the shinobi ran. One of them tossed the scroll to Neyo, who smiled contentedly and handed the valuable document to Aimi. She quickly buried it in a pocket.
"Now just for do ..." Kai was suddenly interrupted in his sentence. He was very still, then it happened again. The earth shook. It was short and barely noticeable, then more violent and longer. They listened silently. Until the ground splintered, something broke out of the dry ground. Neyo jumped back and pulled the others with him.First Kai saw the huge fangs, then he noticed the bright green eyes. Rest after that he looked at the rest of the body of the madcap.
Neyo pulled the swords from their holders. "Go ahead, I'll follow you!" he said and stormed towards the huge snake. As he jumped, he tossed Kai the second scroll. "Go!" he mouthed silently.
Kai disappeared and pulled, Aimi froze completely with him.
Without a word she jumped after him, from tree to tree. Kai landed in a clearing and Aimi stopped next to him. "What's the matter, Aimi?" asked Kai worried. He put a hand on her shoulder.
"Kai! There!" she just said and pointed behind Kai, he was whirling around. In front of him stood the one whom Neyo, the only one of the Chuunin candidates, had described as dangerous. “Gaara Sabaku no!” Whispered Kai. Aimi nodded. ° I really don't want to mess with him now, let's hope he needs a sky scroll ... ° thought Kai and watched Gaara and his siblings suspiciously."Do you have an earth scroll?" asked Gaara's brother, whose name Kai had already forgotten. Kai just wanted 'No!' say, then Aimi reached protectively in her pocket. That was the stupidest thing she could do now. She never did anything like that ... "Aimi, you idiot!" Kai scolded and a smile that made Kai stand on the back of the neck flickered over Gaara's lips.
With a wave of his arm, there was a soft squeak, and shortly afterwards something small fell to the floor. The cork from the bottle that hung on Gaara's back. A thin strip of something flew out of it, like a dancing snake. The thought made Kai think of Neyo, who was just having to deal with an oversized representative of this type.
Kai drew his sword, ready to fight. Aimi drew her bow and placed an arrow. Gaara just laughed, which Kai found incomprehensible.
"Where's Neyo?" Temari asked unexpectedly.
"He's just being eaten by a giant gecko!" replied Aimi unfriendly and no less sarcastic.Kai smiled uncertainly. He ran towards Gaara and Aimi shot an arrow at Temari.
She pulled the fan from her back and steered the arrow in a different direction with a gentle gust of wind. Kai got close enough to Gaara to see that the unknown substance was sand. ° Of course ... Sabaku no ... from the desert ... We have almost zero chance as long as Neyo is not there. "Thought Kai as he was pounded against a tree by a sand wave.
Sand claws kept reaching for Kai and Aimi, but before either of them could be injured, they quickly dodged. The attacker's siblings had meanwhile leaned against a tree and watched happily. Kai landed on the floor, gasping from exhaustion. Behind him, he heard Aimi kneel down. He straightened up. "Are we getting the role now?" asked Gaara spitefully. "Not as long as I still have a spark of life in me ..." replied Kai and closed his eyes, at that moment he forgot everything around him. When he opened his eyes, he directed the illusion not against Gaara but against his siblings. If he couldn't get Gaara physically, he would bring him down through his siblings.
Unfortunately, Gaara didn't seem to care how loud his sister screamed or how much his brother suffered. Before Kai could end the illusion, a hand made of sand shot at him. He jumped aside.
The claw changed the flight direction slightly and now raced towards Aimi. She wanted to roll to the side, but just at this unfortunate moment, a violent cramp twitched through her left leg.
Involuntarily, Aimi stayed exactly where she was. The sand weapon rammed into her side at full speed. She screamed and when the sand moved away, Aimi's right side was adorned with a wide, bleeding wound, which was also quite dirty with sand. Kai ran to her. “Aimi!” He knelt next to her.
A tired and excruciating sigh escaped her dry throat and she tilted to the left, Kai caught her before she hit the ground. He put it carefully on the floor.
"Hey! Are you crazy?" Kai yelled at the boy from Suna-Gakure. Kai straightened up, cast a concerned look at Aimi and pointed the tip of his sword at Gaara. "That's what you pay for ..." said Kai threateningly. A roar of laughter filled the forest and made Kai shudder. When Gaara's laughter stopped, a terrified bird fluttered into the sky.
Kai whirled around when he heard a thud behind him. He looked at Neyo, who leaned over Aimi, worried. Numerous scratches adorned his body. Very briefly Kai even thought he could see a snakebite on his neck. Then he dismissed the thought.
"Who?" Neyo asked and his voice literally clinked. With a vacant look and even paler than usual, he straightened up and automatically looked at Gaara.
When Kai pointed in his direction, Neyo was unleashed. Angry, he stomped towards Gaara. Drew one of his swords as he walked.Immediately, as usual, a sand wall was erected in front of the red-haired boy. As if through butter, Neyo cut through the hard sand.
Gaara backed away, startled. Behind him, Temari straightened up, gasping for breath, and pulled Kankuro up with him. When Neyo's sword brushed Gaara's cheek lightly, his eyes widened. Dans gathered at the point. Gaara stumbled back to Temari and Kankuro. Seeking help, he took his sister's hand and grabbed his brother's shirt. Flea, pulling both of them behind him. Neyo snorted and watched them go.
In the meantime Aimi had sat up again and Kai had tied a thick bandage around her waist, which was already slightly pink. "Aimi?" Neyo asked uncertainly and all his aggressiveness was blown away.
A low sigh was the answer. Kai gently helped her up. "I'll be fine ..." Aimi said weakly and gently pushed Kai away. "Aimi ..." began Neyo warningly. "Neyo ... I'm glad you're back ..." Neyo lowered his head and his voice."I shouldn't have left you alone ..." no one said anything more, Aimi gasped softly and they slowly started moving. Aimi held out bravely. Despite the huge, almost unbearable pain, she walked upright behind Kai and Neyo.
None of the boys asked how she was. All she would have done was waved the hand off and said everything was fine. But that was totally wrong. With worried expressions, they preferred to make their way through the bushes.
When Kai discovered the tower after a few hours, Aimi literally dragged herself along the ground. “Aimi!” Neyo sounded very worried. "I'm fine!" Aimi pressed out and gritted her teeth horribly.
"You don't need to be kidding us!" Kai intervened. "I do not do!" Aimi hissed threateningly and Kai decided to leave her alone, before she possibly got aggressive. Kai pushed open a door of the tower with his hand and held it open for Neyo and Aimi. As soon as the girl entered the tower, her knees went weak and she collapsed.Neyo caught her. He kept calling her name, but she didn't hear it.
A young chunin appeared. Surprised and worried, he looked at Aimi, now in Neyo's arms. “Should I have a medi-ninja fetched?” Neyo nodded. "Please." Replied Kai. He disappeared again.
And appeared a second time, this time he had two men dressed in white in tow. Immediately they put the heavily breathing Aimi on a stretcher and disappeared with her into the inside of the building.
"So ..." began the chunin. “The scrolls?” Kai paused and hurried after Aimi. A few minutes later, he came back to Neyo and the young man with
