A Letter And A New Beginning

Sora took the bottle from Kairi's hand and took out the letter that was in there with one swift movement.
He excitedly read the letter while his friends also began to read through the king's message.
Her eyes scanned the letters with a concerned look and after everyone had finished reading the letter, Sora crumpled it up angrily.
"Damn it!" He swore while he thought about the lines.

"To my friends Sora, Riku and Kairi

I know it's a hard blow for you, but I have to tell you that the fight against the heartless is not over yet.
As soon as I got home, my master Yen Sid informed me that the Heartless are still after Kingdom Hearts.
And not just them. Nobody seems to be looking for it too.
Sora, they will probably attack your island since you are the bearer of the keyblade and Kairi is a princess of hearts.
You may have to fight them again, but I don't ask you to leave your home again.Thanks to your efforts, the Heartless and Nobody can enter your world in small troops or even alone.

Angry, Sora clenched his hand in which he was holding the letter. Worried, he turned his head a little and looked at Kairi.
"So you are after us," he thought and looked into the setting sun.
"Then we have no other choice. We have to fight again," said Riku and looked at Sora and Kairi.
"It looks like it," Kairi said only about it.
"Why can't the Heartless and Nobody just leave us alone.It's getting on my nerves, "Sora hissed, still clenching his fist. His eyes darkened.
"I know exactly how you feel, Sora. We can only speak of luck that we will only have to deal with some of them," Riku tried to calm Sora and put his hand on his shoulder.
Kairi just looked at them both worried.
"We can do it!" Kairi said suddenly totally optimistic.

Sora and Riku looked at their friend with surprised looks but then both smiled. No matter if they had to fight again or not, they were at home. That was the only thing that mattered at the moment. After all, they'd been gone for a year and a lot can happen in a year like that.
"First of all ..." Kairi began and began to giggle. "..should you go to your parents and then ..." now she just had to laugh, she held her stomach with laughter.Worried Sora looked at Riku and then asked Kairi why she was laughing like that.

"Get yourself to safety Kairi. We'll do it." Riku and Sora got into fighting stance.

"How?", Sora and Riku just looked at her puzzled. But Kairi was serious.
And the keyblade that Riku had given her appeared in her hand.
"Here we go!" she said, brandishing her new weapon.
Sora looked at his girlfriend in horror.
"Where did you get that from?" he asked in amazement.
"I got it for free!"
"Which idiot gives you something like that?" He chopped off.
But his question was superfluous when Riku glared at him.
"II meant that in a friendly way."
"Sora, I can handle it! You don't have to worry."
I'm not so sure about that, Sora thought and looked after Kairi with a concerned look, who then threw herself into the fight.
"Well, Sora. Kairi doesn't seem to be the same anymore", Riku only said. "It looks like it," said Sora, who still couldn't believe it.
"Well, fine," his gaze changed and he now attacked the heartless too. Riku did the same and already they were full in the fray.But the heartless didn't want to make it easy for them. He tried to evade the three and launched counterattacks. It turned out to be a long and arduous struggle.
Finally, Sora, Kairi and Riku were able to defeat him with their combined forces.
Sora still didn't like it that Kairi was in possession of a keyblade. "You could have hurt yourself badly, Kairi!" Sora said worriedly.
Kairi looked at him. "But it didn't happen to me, don't worry," she simply replied.
"Yes, nothing happened to you this time. But who knows what will happen next time," Sora said angrily to Kairi.
"So what, I can take care of myself, Sora. I'm not a little girl anymore," Kairi replied.
Then the two began to argue violently and Riku just watched them.
But after a short time it became too colorful for him. "That's enough for both of you. We have something more important to do than argue. There are definitely more heartless ones coming!" Riku shouted and tried to settle the dispute between Sora and Kairi."Yes, you have the right, Riku. Sorry," the two of them apologized and saw that an argument would not change the situation now anyway.
"Why do the Heartless keep appearing?" Asked Kairi.
To which Riku replied, "They are after the Kingdom Hearts."
"Yes, but isn't there an end at some point? There are apparently an infinite number of them!", Kairi replied.
Sora looked at his two friends.
"That's a good question, Kairi," he said and looked at both of them with concern.
"As long as there is even a spark of darkness in a heart, there will probably continue to be the heartless. So, there would have to be light in every heart so that they disappear forever," explained Riku.
"What? Really?" Chopped off Kairi. "Yes, he's right. So we have to make sure that there is light in every heart," answered Sora with a thoughtful expression. "But how do we do that?"
"I don't know," said Kairi and so the three of them started to think about it.
After a minute of silence, Sora said: "Let's go eat something."Kairi and Riku just looked at him perplexed.
"What? How can you think about food now?" Riku asked.
Sora casually put his arms behind his head and replied: "At the moment we can't do anything anyway. So let's do something else."
"What if a Heartless shows up?" said Kairi examiningly.
"Then ...", Sora began.
"Yeah ...?" Said Kairi expectantly.
"Then we improvise!", Sora continued and grinned broadly.

"He's right!" Said Riku and walked towards the jetty.
"Come on, let's celebrate our homecoming. I invite you." he said as he walked.
Sora laughed at Kairi and held out her hand.
His smile made all worries disappear in her and so they followed Riku to the boats ...
A short time later they were all eating.
"Hmm, that tastes really delicious. Mjam", Sora smacked and let the food melt on your tongue.
Kairi also enjoyed it. But neither of them saw that Riku was no longer with them.
He had found a quiet place to be able to think."Oops, where did Riku go?", Sora suddenly remarked. "I don't know," Kairi simply replied.
So they went to look for Riku. "Hey, Riku! Where are you?", Sora yelled, but got no answer, "He must be here somewhere."

So the two of them looked everywhere. After a while they also ran along the beach, where they could finally find Riku.
"Riku! What are you doing here? I thought you would come with us to eat," Sora said angrily.

"About what?", Kairi hacked and looked at him questioningly.
"About what had happened and what is going to happen", Riku simply replied.
"Riku ...", Kairi just looked at him and didn't know what to say right now.
"You just think too much about Riku", Sora said only about it. "I know ...", Riku said and was lost in thought again."Well, that's really bad about you," Sora shook her head. "Sora, stop it. Don't make it worse. Riku is bad enough already," Kairi shouted and glared at Sora.

There was silence for a while. You could only hear the sound of the waves. The sun left the sky and the first stars could be seen.
“We should go when it's dark and the Heartless show up, it can be dangerous.” It was Riku who broke the silence.
"Yes, you're right. We'd better hurry," Kairi agreed. So they made the quickest way back.
But unfortunately they didn't get very far. Because at that moment several heartless appeared in the darkness and blocked their way.
"That's exactly what I thought," said Riku and let his sword appear."Oh no, I wouldn't have thought that now, Riku," joked Sora with a strange look on her face.
"That's not funny anymore, Sora", Kairi shouted and prepared you like Riku to fight. "Yes, yes, that's good," Sora sighed and also let his keyblade appear.
"Well, then ... into the fight," everyone shouted together and pounced on the heartless.
In a very short time they had defeated everyone. "Phew, we could have done that," Sora huffed and wiped the sweat from her forehead like Riku and Kairi.
But it wasn't over yet. Because then suddenly numerous nobody appeared out of the blue. "Oh, no. That really doesn't have to be", Sora, Riku and Kairi
