"TSUNADE-SAMA!" screamed a panicked girl's voice and three seconds later the door to the Kagebüro flew open and Sakura rushed in with Sasuke in tow.
Tsunade jumped up from the desk. "what happened?" she mumbled and looked confused at Sakura.
"Kari has disappeared ..." Sasuke explained.
The shock was written on the Hokage's face. "What should we do now?" Sakura asked panicked and preferred to sit down. For a while there was a heavy silence. "Who is actually the father of your child?" asked Tsunade. "Is that so important now?" Sakura was indignant. "Yes!" the Hokage meant seriously.
"I guess that's me!"
All three turned around, startled, and stared at the person standing in the doorway."Itachi!" shouted Sakura and Sasuke. Tsunade was about to call the Anbu when Sasuke explained. "Don't panic! He's not our enemy!"
She was visibly confused. She would have expected that Sasuke would pounce on him. For a few seconds she just stared at Itachi.
"What do you want?" Tsunade asked and her tone was by no means friendly, but she still looked rather confused.
"I want to help my fiancée!" Itachi replied calmly.
"YOUR WHAT?!?!?!?!?" three horrified voices rang out.
"Yes, I am engaged to Kari. Or rather, we are as good as married," he explained. Sakura was horrified and Sasuke stared at his brother in dismay. The Hokage's mouth was open.
"You pretend that is terrible!" Itachi observed calmly.
"But you ... But you ... but ... but ..." Sakura stammered and now kept her mouth shut.
"How do I know? I just had a strange feeling and I was just on my way here anyway." Itachi took her question from her."Is that true too?" was Sasuke's contribution and he eyed his brother suspiciously. "It's easy to check!" said the Hokage and ran to a huge cupboard that was full of files and books and began to rummage for a few minutes until she pulled out a thick, red, leather-bound book and dropped it with a crash on her desk. A coat of arms was depicted on the cover of the book, which was a single, intertwined pattern. "What is it?!?" Said Sakura and pointed to the huge book that had to have at least 2000 pages and was about the size of half the desk. "These are the family chronicles of the Nahamaru clan. It is the entire knowledge of the ancestors of Kari. The clan named me their godmother almost exactly 17 years ago. I should look out for her in case anything should happen to her family." Tsunade explained and carefully began to leaf through the old, partly yellowed and newer, almost white pages. After a few minutes she found what she was looking for.Between two pages that were almost stuck together, she pulled out a certificate. On the lower side of the sheet the seal of the Nahamaru clan was pressed from wax and directly next to it the seal…. of the Uchiha clan! And it was clearly a legally valid marriage certificate. Tsunade read through the entire sheet. It was less of a document than a contract. Finally Tsunade sighed and looked at the three in front of him. "According to this document, Kari became engaged to the firstborn heir of the Uchiha, which is then Itachi. As soon as Kari has reached the age of seventeen she is legally married to Itachi Uchiha."
"B-But Tsunade-sama! Kari's 17th birthday in a week and three days! Can't you reverse that?" Sakura asked and in her voice you could clearly hear a pleading. "But you can, if the two heads of the clans agree to the separation of this connection, which in this case are Kari and Itachi." Said the Hokage.Sakura opened her mouth and she glared at Itachi, as if she wanted to peel off his skin while he was alive. Sasuke was horrified. He had completely missed that. Itachi was older, HE was the new head of the Uchiha clan!
"We can sort that out later. We have to find Kari first!" Tsunade interrupted Sakura who had already opened her mouth.
"How do we know that she didn't leave voluntarily? She was totally depressed about breaking up with Itachi anyway!" Sakura asked carefully. "I doubt that. I promised her that we would see each other again. Besides, she's pregnant! She will probably still have so much responsibility not to do anything that endangers the child!" Itachi contradicted.

"Kari!" was his answer and he came up to me. I wanted to hug him, but walked right through him. I looked down at myself with surprise and was startled to find that I was blue and quite transparent.
° Great! Me with my usual luck!Ha ha ha! ° "Kari where are you?" Tsunade asked worriedly. She must have found their voices against "Uh? In your office?" I said mockingly, but her evil look seemed to be screaming at me and not cracking jokes. "I have no idea where, but somewhere where there are dungeons, because I'm in one! And Shujaku is getting weaker and weaker!" I answered. Silence. "Who is getting weaker?" Sakura asked and I finally told them everything I knew about them. My words were followed by a tense silence.
"Can you see or hear what is around you?" asked Tsunade and came up to me. "I hear the rustling of a huge forest and the crashing of a waterfall." I answered quickly. "Tsunade beamed from one ear to the other." Then I know where you are! "She beamed." There is an old castle in the western forest of Konoha which is located at a huge waterfall. You now just release this jutsu and ... uh ... hold out until we come! "Ordered Tsunade and I released the jutsu with one last sad look at Itachi and disappeared."And you three are on your way. I entrust you with their welfare!" said the Hokage to the three shinobi.
