Chapter: Part 3: SakuraxSasuke
Part 3: SakuraxSasuke
"Yes not ... I'm curious ..."
Sakura wasn't really listening to TenTen and Hinata anymore.
She just hung on to her own thoughts, all about Sasuke.
It had been two days since he returned.
Naruto had kept his promise to her.
But Sasuke ... he had hardly spoken to her in the last two years. Team 7 has not existed for a long time, as have the other teams.
Their ranks were just too different.
She was a simple Chuu-Nin, Sasuke a Anbu.
What should the Uchiha offspring want from her?
She had already confronted him once about what he meant by "thank you" at the time, but he hadn't answered her.
That was exactly a year ago to the day. It was Ino's last Valentine's party, the next morning she woke up naked next to a previously drunk Sasuke.
Apparently he couldn't remember it, he had never spoken to her about it.She had fled, then let him go back to sleep peacefully.
She knew exactly what had happened.
They slept together.
But why?
Sure he was drunk, but was that all?
He was so different then. Not cold but tender and loving.
But did it really have anything to do with love?
She didn't know and it brought tears to her eyes.
He wasn't interested in her. She kept reminding herself of this fact, but it only made her sadder.
Tenten and Hinata looked worriedly at their friend, who had that sad and hurt look again. The one she always had when she thought of Sasuke.
It also brought tears to their eyes to see their friend like that, and the wish came to turn the neck of the Uchiha heir; after all, he was the cause of her depression!
That arrogant fool!
What was the idea of trampling on the feelings of Sakura? But if they actually killed Sasuke, Sakura would only be sadder and they definitely didn't want that.
...
...
...
Before Sakura could clap herself because she was thinking of Sasuke again, she was interrupted by a stormy hug.
The only thing she noticed was platinum blonde hair.
In O.
Have you already been there?
But then she slept a lot ...
She returned the hug briefly.
"Hey! There you are at last! Almost everyone is already there!"
After the extensive greeting, everyone first looked at each other.
Ino looks like an angel! Sakura thought a little jealously, but she allowed her friend to be so beautiful.
"You look great! But the boys will be amazed! Come in!"
The girls thanked him, Hinata as red as a scarlet, and said Ino looked great too. Finally they entered.
Hinata and Ino had disappeared after a few seconds, and so Tenten and Sakura now stood a little lost at the front door."Mhm ... let's see what Ino has come up with this year!"
And with that, the pink-haired woman was dragged through the entire ground floor by her friend.
There were roses, hearts and other red things hanging everywhere. A little too cheesy as Sakura discovered, but typical Ino.
In some parts of the room, however, the decoration was veiled by mist that oozed from the water lamps that were set up especially for this effect. Couples were dancing everywhere, she even saw Naruto disappear onto the balcony to which Hinata had only recently withdrawn.
In between they had a drink, alcohol-free of course, or ate a bite to eat.
After all, snacks and glasses of drinks were standing around everywhere, between little hearts, candles and heart confetti.
The two girls talked most of the time and hardly noticed how it passed.
It was only when Tenten Neji saw how he was dancing with another that the two separated.
Sakura only nodded to her to make it clear to her that she should give this Baka her opinion. And with flaming eyes, Tenten was gone too.
Now the pink-haired Medical Nin stood alone and abandoned in a corner and looked into space. She wished so much that her love would be returned.
Why did she have to remain unhappy?
She was pretty much the only one who knew that the love of the others was being reciprocated, and although she was very happy for her friends, she was just as jealous, jealous that she had to love so unhappily.
But she couldn't pursue her thoughts for much longer because someone nudged her shoulder.
She turned around in amazement and saw black hair and black eyes.
Green met black.
"Better smile, it suits you better."
Had she just misheard?
Sasuke Uchiha talked to her?
And then also like that ... how should she describe it?
Sweet? Tender? Loving? At least very atypical for him ...
That was something completely new.
"Nani ...?"
She just whispered.
Sasuke cleared his throat, a slight red sheen adorned his cheeks. They stood apart and no one paid any attention to them.
"Sakura ... I'm sorry I haven't talked to you that much in the past two years.
But ... I was very busy and had to be clear about something first. "
He looked to the side, he was probably embarrassed what he was saying, but it triggered an uncanny feeling of happiness in the young Kunoichi.
"Clarify what?"
"About ... my feelings ... towards you."
Sakura looked at him startled. She felt as if the sky had just fallen on her.
Feelings towards YOU?
What feelings?
"What?" she gasped.
Sasuke pulled a bouquet of pink and white roses from behind his back and pressed them into the hands of the visibly confused Sakura.
"Sakura ... I ... I ... love you ... and don't want to see you so sad anymore ..."
Now his face actually resembled an overripe tomato. He still didn't dare look her in the eye.
"II-are you serious?"
She asked uncertainly."Yes damn it!" it came annoyed by the Uchiha.
Yes it was DEFINITELY serious.
Weeping and overjoyed, she fell around the black-haired man's neck.
"II love you too ..."
"I know ..." the hugged one mumbled and gently but possessively returned the hug.
The two wished that this moment would never end. Never in her whole life.
[i]After such a long time, they had finally found each other. The Avenger and the Cherry Blossom, more different than a couple could not have been, and just as happy.
Their lips touched gently and their souls melted together for eternity.
