Hinata in danger
I'm sorry. It didn't turn out so well.
Hinata sat down on the couch next to Tenten. "I'm scared!" She admitted frankly. Tenten put his arm around her shoulder. "It'll be fine." "It'll be fine?", Hinata yelled in a hysterical, cracking voice. "Some crazy female psychopath is running around out there, watching me and trying to kill me! And you say: THAT'S GOING TO BE AGAIN ?!" "Hey ... hey, calm down." Tenten held up his hands. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you like that." Hinata bowed her head. "It's just ... I'm terrified." "It's okay. I understand you." Tenten looked at her friend sympathetically. Then she decided to give Hinata other thoughts. "We'll order a nice pizza first (pretty unrealistic, I know, but I couldn't think of anything else XD) and then we'll watch some funny movie." Hinata nodded hesitantly. Tenten hung up on the phone and called the pizza service. As soon as she was no longer sitting next to her friend, she felt she was being watched again. With a dull feeling in her stomach, she set about choosing a film. She decided on Shrek 2 (the film was brutal ... brutally funny ^^). Half an hour later the pizza came and the two friends made themselves comfortable in front of the TV. After the movie they went to bed.
In the middle of the night, Hinata woke up to a strange noise. It sounded like a steady drop. She turned on the light, tired. Her scream echoed all over the house. Tenten rushed into her room. "Hinata, what ... Oh my God!" Her eyes wide and horrified, she looked at the dead rabbit that was dangling from the ceiling. The blood slowly dripped to the floor. It had already formed a real puddle on the floor. Hinata sat in bed and cried. Tenten saw the note hanging on the rabbit. Carefully she tore it off. Then she took her friend to her room. She sobbed continuously.Tenten took her in his arms. At some point the sobbing became quieter and Hinata fell asleep again. Only now did Tenten pick up the slip of paper and read what it said:
Hinata Hyuga!
You will not be alive by the end of this week! Prepare for your end!
It said nothing more, but it was enough to frighten Tenten terribly. What should she do? She had to protect her friend, but how? She decided not to tell Hinata, but to talk to Neji and Lee about it. She fell asleep with this thought too.
The next morning, Hinata and Tenten went to practice. Hinata was strangely silent while Tenten talked cheerfully to her. But inside she felt bad. When they broke up and each went to their team, Tenten pulled Lee and Neji aside and told them about the rabbit. She also showed them the note with the threat. Neji totally freaked out. He wanted to catch the girl who terrorized his cousin like that. But Tenten and Lee stopped him from shortening everything. They were particularly dogged today during training.
After training, Tenten, Lee, Neji and Hinata wanted to go out for ice cream. "Wait a minute, I'll be right there," said Hinata. She still wanted to pick up her shuriken. The other three were already going ahead because they wanted to talk quietly about Hinata.
Hinata picked up her shuriken, thinking of the dead rabbit and the attempt to drown her. Who could hate her so much? She hadn't done anything to anyone! Suddenly she had the oppressive feeling that someone was standing behind her. But there was no one. Hinata dropped the shuriken and ran after her friends. But she didn't get far. Something hard hit her head. Her eyes went black.
Next time I'll try harder. Promised!
