Die Zeit wird es zeigen
The task
So, since I have rested for a long time (my PC was in the A ...), I am now fully back in Fahrtz and have almost finished a long one-short from Inu Yasha, hope you will read it when I turn it on put ;-) So, now have fun with the next chapters ....
The task
The birds sing the last songs before they go to rest, because the sun has already half disappeared over the horizon. In the Kaedes hut there is wild talk about Naraku's stay. Inuyasha alone does not take part in this conversation. He sits with his back against the wall at the door frame and looks out towards the Konchenfresserbrunnen. Kagome has still not returned and the sun is almost invisible. Perhaps there is a problem at home with her and therefore you are late. But something makes him waver in his guess.
Your smell. He can smell it clearly and so intensely as if she was never gone and is here. Here in medieval Japan.
Inu Yasha's eyebrows contract in surprise.
What does that mean?
The shadows of darkness settle over the land and eventually engulf it whole. The last rays of the sun can only be seen far in the distance on the underside of the clouds.
As if they were starting to burn.
A violent gust of wind ripped the mat from the door and almost carried it on fire. With the wind comes a very uncomfortable feeling at the same time. Inuyasha gets nervous. At the moment when the blast of air seized him, beats against him, his heart contracted for a short time, stopped beating, stopped.
What happened?
The others also noticed the wind that suddenly swept through the door. Shippo was even thrown backwards and was now on his back. Irritated, he straightens up again.
" What was that? "
He looks around and realizes that his friends are just as perplexed as he is himself.Inuyasha stands up but does not turn to his comrades, who are now looking at him.
"Something is Kagome to me!"
His voice sounds as solid as a rock and shows that he is completely sure. "But ..." Sango's voice drowns beneath his.
“I'm looking for her!” And he has disappeared through the door without turning around. Sango half stands up to follow him. She really wants to help find her friend, maybe she is here in the Middle Ages. But a hand rests on her shoulder and lets her look down. Miroku looks at her seriously and in his look you can see that he is not very enthusiastic about her plan. "Let him find it alone! He will find her!"
His voice lets her calm down a little again, but some tension remains. She sits down by the fire again and now watches Miroku get up again and help old Kaede to tie the mat to the door again. Shippo sits in front of the door and looks at the forest in which Inuyasha has just disappeared.
*** *** ***
A girl stands by a river and looks in amazement into the water. The fish jump happily and lively from the traveling stream of water. Even if it's dark here you can still see the scales that bring a touch of shine into the dark. In some places in the river you can see large pointed rocks that protrude from the water at a distance of a few meters.
Kagome looks confused at the stone thorns that she should have just speared. What happened then?
Why is she still alive?
All she knows now is that the jewel splinters shone strongly and probably reinforced her circle of spell. Then she stopped exactly a few inches from the cliff tops and floated to the bank of the river. As soon as they stepped onto the wet grass, the spell disappeared. Like thousands of small, shining stars, it sprang apart and went out.Kagome has to smile. How could she have believed that Midoriko would have let her die? That wouldn't have made any sense. Suddenly she is startled. A familiar feeling reminds her that she is not here to worry about the warrior, but to meet her herself. She turns around with a single swing and runs into the forest. Again it seems to her for a long time and that you can hardly see anything doesn't make things any more comfortable. When she finally reaches the moonlit clearing, her legs feel like jelly. She has now made all the effort and excitement noticeable in her. Her rib cage rises and falls far too quickly and sweat drips down her chin.
The ruin of Midorikos can be seen clearly and brightly in front of her and has a mystical aura. Now with slow steps she approaches the broken building. What should this actually represent? Was that a fortress or was it more of a resting place?
She walks through the entrance and first sees the stone-carved pond. The water in it changes its color again and again, very weakly. Sometimes it glows green, then at other times it has a purple sheen and once she saw it shimmering blue. Silently, she kneels in front of the edge and keeps her gaze on the water, which from one moment to the next, when she was sitting, begins to glow again in white / pink and light circular rings spread out from the center outwards.
“I was expecting you!” A figure can now be recognized and smiles friendly at the fifteen-year-old schoolgirl.
"Kagome" Despite the fact that she is dead, you can tell that she seems to be weakened. Her skin is pale and even on her Kagome sees that she is sweating.
“Why did you have to call me right now?” Kagome's voice isn't as pleased as hers. She doesn't smile either. You can tell she is angry about what Midoriko did.But even Kagome knows that she is wrong. She has no reason to be mad at her. Tomorrow the rebirth with Inuyasha and the others would have moved on in search of Naraku. Midoriko would have no other opportunity to reach her in the next few weeks than that she would have brought her to her now. And nevertheless. Kagome is mad. She knows that she has now compromised the trust of her friends. And least of all she would have wanted to do that.
"You know that there was no other way! This is also important for your trip!" Kagome pricked up his ears. What is important?
From the expression on Kagome's face, the warrior recognizes that she is now a little puzzled.
“You have to go south to find Naraku!” The face of the woman in the water becomes more serious. Her black, straight hair falls slightly over her shoulder as she speaks the words. Kagome, now completely confused how she knew this, lets the sentence go through her head again. So south.
At least a clue. But where did she get this information from?
"My spirit can move around the world, travel around. But only here can I contact you! I noticed his angry aura when I went to the southern part of the country.
He's gotten stronger, Kagome! You have to be careful when absorbing the jewel! "Kagome frowns. What does she mean by that? How is she supposed to take in the jewel?"
"But ... how am I supposed to do that, absorb the jewel into myself?"
Kagome leans slightly over the pond to better see the bubble shape in the water in front of her.
"When you have found Naraku you have to take the jewel from him and incorporate it into your body! Only in this way can the jewel become one with my rebirth, i.e. with you, and your powers will then be perfect! To kill him you have to be Pierce the heart with the holy dagger so that the heart can be purified and the soul redeemed!"Kagome seems to understand slowly, only how she gets the jewel in her body she doesn't quite know yet! And what in God's name is the holy dagger? And where does she find it?
To speak her question out loud, she was about to open her mouth to speak, but Midoriko gets ahead of her.
“You don't need to ask, Kagome. I am connected to your body and I know how you feel and think!” A smile adorns the strong woman's face and makes Kagome unusually warm, so if it radiates warmth. The facial expressions quickly become serious again and she starts speaking again.
"To take the jewel back into you, you just have to put it on your chest, I will do the rest with your help when the time comes! But before that, the jewel must never become one in Naraku's hands, only when you have it can you add the last splinter! Not before! "She lifts her index finger to make it clear to her that this is very important and that she shouldn't risk anything. For Kagome, the picture is slowly clearing up. This question has already been answered, but what about the other one?
"The holy dagger, or the dagger of holiness, as it is also called, lies in my tomb! You have to go there and take it, you hear! It is important that you stab Naraku's heart with it, otherwise his spirit could or take possession of his body from others! I carried it myself and it helped me to cleanse evil demons or people, it works practically like your arrows, only stronger! I have used it to take the last demon with me and to kill it redeem before I too had to die! ”Again a smile appears on her lips as she utters these words. She looks incredibly beautiful in the moonlight falling through the hole in the ceiling. The friendly mine makes everything perfect!
Kagome's head sags slightly. She will help her, that was certain, but how?She has now lost her friends! She let you down!
She disregarded Inu Yasha's request! She can't go back!
A tear finds its way down her cheek and drips down into the water of the pond. Rings spread out where the tear became one with the liquid. Midoriko's image now wavered in gentle waveforms. Your smile disappears. She feels the feelings and emotions of the girl in front of her. She knows how she feels. And she also knows how young Hanyou feels about her.
"Trust me, Kagome! You have done it before, on the rocks, you trusted me! Now believe me when I tell you that he will forgive you! They all will if you tell them the truth!" "Kagome looks up and wipes away the tear. She nods gratefully and knows that the warrior is right. She gets up slowly and then looks back into the pond. She notices that the picture suddenly begins to glow faintly. The woman's outlines become blurred and slack. It is probably time that she left.
"Well, Kagome, I told you about your job! I
