All heads in the room turned to her and immediately a great whisper went through the crowd, but Hinata walked undeterred her father.
"You wanted to speak to me father?" she clarified in a firm voice. “Hinata! Where have you been all this time?” He got straight to the point. "I had been training for a long time, father!" // Please let him buy this lie from me! // she pleaded inwardly. "At least something. Go!" he said a bit confused, but his voice was cold as ever.
Hinata immediately left the room. Not in flight, but upright and slowly, downright dignified.
The sun was already going down when the black-haired woman stepped out of the bathroom, freshly washed and changed. "I feel in my heart, the start of somethin 'new ..." she hummed softly to herself.
For the first time she saw a sunset from her window that made her feel really good and happy.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
