Chapter 2: The First Mission

The next morning starts with a scream and ends with a curse. Because the Akane is terrified of spiders and she has just been frightened and shortly afterwards screamed and then cursed. But Sasori doesn't mind and he continues to work on his puppet and when it is finished, he marches from now on in this puppet to the respective missions. He only comes out if she has a damage or if he mixes any poisons and then mounts it in the doll. Every now and then the red-haired Nuke-nin looks at the little Saori.

"Get rid of the spider!" Akane shouts meekly around the room that is right next to Sasori's and Orochimaru's room. "How can you be afraid of spiders?", Karen asks and she asks the 5 mm spider between her thumb and forefinger." Because I am afraid of these hideous creatures and I am not the only one in this world who is afraid of them! ", the long-haired one reports and she stands on her bed." Okay. Joking aside. I have to go to Sasori right away to give her new mission. This is the mission where he and Orochimaru capture the next demon and bring it to the cave. Because I take care of Saori and wait until Sasori comes back. ", Karen explains to Akane and she throws the spider out the window and then she goes to the red-haired shinobi.

In the meantime the Akatsuki have gathered again in the cave. A knock can be heard after a quarter of an hour and the 18 year old enters. The puppeteer lifts his head when she is already in her room. "You have the first mission with your partner. You will meet in front of the entrance in half an hour and you have to find the demon and bring it to the cave. You will get more information from Orochimaru. When you are gone I will take care of Saori." , she tells him and waits for a reaction from Sasori. "I understand." Karen just nods and she walks out of the room with Saori. / I think it won't take them more than a week to find, catch, and bring the demon. I hope they work in a team and not everyone has their own plan / worries a little about them.Half an hour has passed and the two Akatsukis are at the agreed place. Sasori has received the Akatsuki coat and ring from the long-haired woman and he then goes to the exit. When he sees the exit, he sees a figure standing outside and this figure is apparently his current partner. Not a word from the two can be heard as the redhead is now a few meters in front of him. They just look at each other for a few seconds. In the next moment Sasori hears a growl from the bigger one and then he sets foot after foot in the direction of the area where the monster is supposed to be. The redhead looks after for a few seconds and he follows him. / So this should be my future partner /, Sasori concludes and he decides to follow the others in silence. / This little one is my new partner from now on. I would never have thought of that. Let's see when we get what he can do / thinks the black-haired man and he puts a grin on his face.It took two and a half days with no breaks whatsoever and they still haven't spoken to each other. He gets ready to fight by pulling a scroll from his coat and holding it in his right hand. / Strange /, says the puppeteer in thought and finally she turns her head in the direction of Sasori and she shows no emotions. Now she has turned completely to him and she says: "Why don't you leave me in peace?" And she looks sadly at the ground in front of her feet. "Because you have something in you.", Answers the shinobi from the desert and he continues to stare over at her. Then unexpectedly she falls on the floor and appears to be passed out. Why nobody knows. / Did she pass out? But why? It doesn't matter either. then I save my strength for other missions /, Saori then says and then he goes to her and he still summons the puppet. He moves his fingers to direct the puppet to hold the girl. When that's done, he goes back with the puppet where they shared./ I haven't seen or heard him once since we split up /, Sasori then notices and notices that his partner is already waiting for him at the seat. "So you found her. It went faster than I thought.", The black-haired man then says when the red-haired man is standing in front of him and he is still glaring at him angrily. Sasori just says, "She passed out. I didn't have to fight her to knock her out." "Let's go," says Orochimaru and then he marches. With the girl in the puppet's arms, they go back to the versetck to exanth the demon. The girl is killed in the action.

In the meantime the long-haired girl has taken care of the baby well and she starts with Babsi, who came shortly afterwards when the puppeteer left with his partner and she is now in the Akanes and her room with her. "How long do you think she will stay here?" Asks Karen and she looks over at little Saori."Not long. Don't ask me now when Sasori will really be kidnapped by the Akatsukis and abandoned somewhere.", The redhead answers her question. "Hmm" is only Karen reaction and she looks a little sadly out of the window. "Did you tell Sasori something about what happened 25 years ago?" Babsi then asked and looked at her. "Well. I was thinking out loud again and I said that the people in Suna-Gakure did terrible things to this girl!" Replies the long-haired woman and she looks over at her, who is sitting across from her. "If he comes back and talks to you about it, change the Tehma or just say no or something like that. Because he mustn't find out yet. The time has not yet come," explains the puppet master and she lights a cigarette. "Ok." Can only be heard from her. "I noticed that Saori didn't scream once. That's very strange, isn't it?", Then comes Karen's comment as she looks back at the little girl."I noticed that too, but don't worry about it.", Says the Babsi and she then decides to leave to continue working on her puppet. / I hope she is right and I don't have to worry about the baby /, the thought shoots through Karen's head when her friend is out the door.

It took another two days until they stand in front of the cave and now go inside with the girl. The others have already gathered and are just waiting for them to stay. "You should come in a minute!", Says one of the members and he looks excitedly at the entrance to the cave. His assumption was correct when Orochimaru comes in first and immediately afterwards the redhead with his puppet in tow, which the girl is also carrying. Sasori has the ring on his left thumb, so he has to stand on the petrified demon's left thumb and concentrate on the exanthropy that is about to begin. Finally he can go on with his puppet again and it will probably be finished today and then he will get the little Saori. Somehow he missed her. He missed her laugh the most. / How are you doing? /, thinks the redhead when he has started to work with the puppet.
