Chapter 2: The New Home!

Her eyes flitted across the gigantic space, not knowing where to look first. Nefertiri was just flabbergasted. She would have thought more of an old room.

With a small bed and a desk, possibly even with a window and balcony. But this one surpassed her idea of ​​a new home in moderation:

The room was kept in soft red tones, in the middle a huge four-poster bed, of course also in red, and on one wall she had a long and large desk made of mahogany, as she had noticed.

The floor was made of gold tiles, but there was enough precious carpeting that you didn't have to freeze your feet off.Ornaments had been engraved on every wall, and the ceiling was also just so overlooked by mysteries and creatures she did not know. There was also no lack of plants. She even had a large palm tree in one corner.

She walked fully into the room and took a closer look around. It had a total of four doors if you don't count the balcony. One would be the front door, another would probably be the bathroom, and she didn't know the other two.

"We'll leave you alone for once, young lady. If you have any questions, ring this bell once.", Cher said, getting her out of her thoughts.

Nefertiri looked over at her as Cher pointed with his finger at a bell next to the door she had come in from. She nodded slightly to her and the two women were gone.

What remained was a visibly confused person. From outside you could still hear Cher happily ordering the girl around and she had to pant loudly.Nefertiri smiled briefly. She herself was very surprised that she could smile in such a situation. Other girls, she believed, would rush on the bed and start howling and frolicking around.

But she wasn't a different girl and so she walked calmly and yet a little curious to the next best door. No sooner had she turned the handle than her breath caught.

She was standing in the middle of the most beautiful bathroom she had ever seen.

The walls and the floor were made of light marble, which gently reflected the light from the noble chandelier and created a cozy atmosphere. One wall was completely mirrored and all the scents, soaps and care products you could imagine were on countless shelves.

But everything in this room faded at the sight of the "bathtub". This "bathtub" was more like a small basin and filled the entire center of the room.

"My goodness", it came in a whisper from her lips and she could hardly believe her current happiness.These thoughts came to an abrupt end when she thought about her family.

"Mom and Dad worked their hearts out and I'm sitting here in sheer luxury," she mumbled sadly. Had she known she was going to be so wealthy, she would have loved to take her family with her.

Nefertiri sighed, then went out and headed for one of the other two doors. When she opened this too, she was in another large room with many cupboards and shelves, but it was no bigger than the one with her bed.

She looked around, opened a closet and noticed that there were clothes in the closet in all kinds of colors and shapes. The same in the other cupboards.

There was also nothing missing in terms of shoes. Each outfit had its own shoes.

"That's probably not possible," she whispered incredibly. She must have been in the wrong movie here. She hadn't expected so much attention, but she was still happy not to live in an old moldy room or even in a dungeon.With this thought she closed the door to the walk-in closet again and finally turned to the last door. But before she wanted to open it, there was a knock on the door.
