Chapter: What was that?
A few streets further on, great commotion gathered in front of a bar famous for pirates. But that could not gain anything from the bustle within this.
“Do you think it's not slowly enough, Luffy?” Zorro pushed the tower frame bowls away from his face, and only looked sullenly towards the counter when his gaze fell on the hustle and bustle outside the entrance. "We're getting noticed again, I just hope the Navy doesn't get wind of it ..."
The boy in the straw hat sipped the last noodle from the bowl, which he then slammed onto the table. "THE SAME AGAIN !!!" he shouted towards the counter, and raised his palm. Where a deranged bar operator looked at him.
"RUFFY !!! ..." Zorro hit the circular wooden table where the two of them were crouching and consequently the stack of frame bowls tipped over towards the person sitting across from him. His sword scabbards clinked together as Zorro rose and leaned across the table to grab Luffy by his bright red shirt. He spoke to him with a dull voice and a dark look: "How do you actually want to pay for all of this? We don't even have that much Berry with us !!!" ... Luffy grinned happily at him. After a brief moment his companion let go of his hand, straightened his chair and sat down ... "You have no idea, do you?"
Luffy's grin stayed the same and a slight up and down nod could be heard from him. Zorro groaned and continued to look around. Because the whole bar was full of pirates, where luckily their little quarrel did not attract any attention. Something like that seems to be the order of the day here, which is why the noisy buccaneers bothered not to look at you.
Far away from the din in the so-called 'Piratengasse' one could hear a loud moan. "PLEASE, I absolutely need THAT!" ... a young man with an unusually long nose knelt in front of a market stall seller. The begging was visibly too much for him and said to him: "If you can't pay the price, I can't give it to you either.""A ... but I can offer you a swap deal ..." with a quick wave of the hand he opened his large shoulder bag and rummaged through it. "How about ... um ..."
"Only goods for cash!" interrupted him stand operator with an annoyed look.
"Oh ..." the disgusted rose and straightened his bag. "... then it shouldn't be." He looked sadly at the floor and was about to go on when he noticed a tall, slim woman. His eyes got bigger and bigger and his grin got bigger and bigger.
"Robin !!!" He ran towards her with open arms. She noticed him and waved back. "Long nose ..." she smiled, "... have you got everything already?"
Lysops grin, quickly jumping into the opposite face. Robin didn't know what to think of it. He looked at the paper bag that Robin was holding in her right hand. "You Robin, I don't want to beg you, but maybe you have borrowed a few more berries?" he asked her directly. Before she could answer Usopp spoke in a whining voice and pointed hatefully at the covered stand, in front of which he was just begging "... they have exclusive gunpowder from Edo, I've heard a lot about it. It should be a dream for every shooter. I absolutely need it !!! "Robin also looked at the market stall, and answered in a cheerful voice:" How much do you need for it? " "Thank you, Robin! You will get it back for sure." ...
The hours passed as the crew gradually gathered again in front of the jetty at their pirate ship. "Haaallooo? Anyone there already?" Usopp yelled overjoyed as he dropped his heavy sack of gunpowder from his back directly onto the deck. Robin was still standing on the railing and already smelled that someone was on board. The door of the kitchen opened with a creak and Sanji stood in it. "Does the door need to be oiled again?" he grumbled before seeing Robin."Rohobin mouse ..." said his voice, "... were you busy shopping ?!" ... "Are you hungry? We were at the weekly market, I'm just making a fresh vegetable soup." Also from the lower deck opened also the door and Chopper ran out "Everything stowed away, Sanji!" he looked up at him proudly. He leaned against the railing and took off his cigarette. "Thank you. Now all that's missing is the rest." he said and looked towards the city.
Shortly afterwards the pirates who were already present were sitting in the galley. The sun was already beginning to set. The deep orange light shone through the windows into the room. "Where's the Nahami treasure ...?" Sanji said in a desperate voice. "Nothing will have happened to her!" Chopper, who changed into his original elk-human form (small), put a gas lamp on the table to savor the last rays of the sun. "I don't think so ..." he said and let himself be pummeled on the wooden bench at the table.
"And what if dohigh? Sanji sniffed at him. Usopp didn't notice anything, he is too absorbed in his handicrafts, which he made in his Potest workshop. Robin, who browsed through her newly acquired books, felt no different. But one A loud scream brought both of them back to reality immediately. "HEY LEUTEEEE ... !!!" rang out from the outside. Chopper jumped off the bench and ran onto the deck. "Hello Luffy!" he raised his hooves joyfully Rest follow the little wool ball, and they saw their captain running at you with both arms in the air and Zorro, who looked back exhausted. Arrived, Luffy, proudly patted his green-haired partner on the shoulder, "We probably just escaped them again, What?! ". He held his hat and laughed loudly." If you hadn't eaten so much, we wouldn't have had to run away! "... Zorro slapped his hand off his shoulder. Luffy's laughter level increased, which also infected Chopper and Usopp. Nevertheless, he only earned skeptical looks from Robin and Sanji."Captain don't riot here. We have to stay here longer!" said the chef to Luffy as he stood on the rail. But he only thought of food and asked: "You cook? When is there food ?!"
"Only when Nami-Schatz is back! Before that there is nothing!" replied Sanji sternly. Zorro's look at this question spoke volumes, his captain had only just eaten tower-white frames, and now he's hungry again ?!
The deep sunlight also shone the young, mysterious woman from the weekly market, as this direction, large building complex ran. "Jacky ..." came a man's voice behind her. Whereupon she suddenly stopped. "... you went to the weekly market, weren't you? No wonder you're in such a mood." he continued. A mild breeze blew along the alley. Jacky clenched her fists and turned around with a jerk where she saw him. A guy with long black bonuses and short hair on the back of his head. He wore a long, conspicuous dark red scarf around his neck and a black sleeveless coat. "What I do is none of your business, Koga!" she countered. "Mind your own filth!"
"But, but ..." he crossed his arms and ran towards her "... not had a good day, huh?". He grinned cheekily at her. But Jacky refrained from eye contact on her part and looked disinterested into the sunset. "Hm ... apparently not! You went to the weekly market after all ?!" he laughed maliciously. "You know how we affect the islanders. They see us as a kind ..." he thought for a moment and continued his sentence
"... Outsiders. Or rather monsters? If it were up to you, we should have been erased long ago."
"Anyway, my day was pretty successful." he walked past Jacky and went on to say, "I've discovered new potential 'victims'. Or rather, a little pirate crew with a nut bowl as a pirate ship.Totally ridiculous something! But it will please the prof, don't you think so? "He turned again to his conversation partner and looked back expectantly. But he only saw Jacky's back, because she was still standing there when he spoke to her. He noticed her disinterest, kept walking and just left something like" See you inside ! "hear from yourself.
Jacky continued to look towards sunset, clasped her hands and closed her eyes. Why did she only consent then, that life is what she should lead now in the future? She hadn't dreamed of it. Tormented by thoughts and driven by despair, she finally bit her lip with light pressure. She paused a little longer and lived the atmosphere until she turned around and again took the direction in which the huge building stood.
Going through the umpteen security checks and the gates decorated with steel bars, Jacky arrived in the large anteroom of the building. Which adorned two mirror-inverted large stone stairs that led to the upper floors. The hall was full of guards.
When they saw Jacky, their posture rose again rigidly, but she ignored you and quickly went up the stairs to get quickly into her rooms. The desperate thoughts crossed her mind too much. But when she only reached halfway up the stairs, a young woman with a short, layered hairstyle and a vacant gaze came towards her. This passed her wordlessly and, having reached the bottom, turned off in the direction that led to the rooms in which the professor stayed day after day. Jacky watched her go. But when she was out of sight, she turned again, climbed the rest of the stairs and disappeared into the long corridor, which was only lit by torches.
The sun sank further into the horizon and gave off little brightness. The straw hat gang sat waiting for their last member, bored at the dining table.Sanji almost despaired at the kitchen counter, at the thought of whether something might have happened to Nami. Luffy found the wait particularly difficult, his face had already got a real pressure point from the bored pose in which his head was on the table. There was a long murmur across the room. "No! I only said when Nami-Schatz is back!" the cook hit the sturdy table with the wooden spoon, which also made Zorro wake up from his naps. "People?!" they heard a female voice. The handle of the door sank and Nami stepped in, fully laden and slightly exhausted.
"YOU! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SO LONG?" Luffy jumped up and pointed angrily at his navigator. But Sanji got ahead of him and looked at Nami with a beaming smile, "Are you
