Gaara home alone
"I think I'll speak for all of us when I ask what the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"The truth is ... I have no idea! I'm just citing Wikipedia!"
(from "No cannibalism Kisame" by Rike-sama)

A cool wind kicked up the sand of the streets of Suna-Gakure. Not a soul was to be seen on these, almost ...
In the light of a couple of lanterns, a boy of about fifteen was walking down a somewhat secluded cobbled street. With his short, red and above all tangled hair, the wind played and let it blow slightly, while his jade-green eyes fixed the path that lay in front of him. Strangely enough, these were black outlined, as if you constantly had dark circles.
His forehead was decorated with a Japanese character, Ai. The red-haired one carried a pumpkin bottle on his back, which he carried at an angle.
But what surprised one most of all was that he was wearing the Kazekage clothes, which at this age was pretty much unbelievable.

The blackness of the night enveloped him more and more until he suddenly stopped in front of a building that was a little bigger than the others.
With a few finger signals on his part, the door, which was made of plain wood, opened. The kage stepped in, only to slam the door again in the next moment, a crack in the wood which he simply ignored.
He opened his mouth, but the next moment he hit his forehead with the palm of his hand and mumbled something that sounded like: "Temari and Kankuro are still on missions".
Briefly he put his pumpkin bottle in one of the corners and turned around abruptly to go through one of the five doors. This led into a larger room, which consisted of a stove, sink, wall cupboards and shelves and other things that existed in a kitchen. On the far right of the room was a wooden table with four chairs around it. Two windows and beige curtains, tiles on the floor and the walls had gotten a touch of orange.
Meanwhile there was a kettle on the stove which he used to make tea. The redhead quickly got a black cup from one of the closets to pour his tea into. Lost in thought he took it and walked this way towards the door.
Immediately a deafening "ring" went through the house.
As a result, the cup and tea fell to the floor with a clang and broke into pieces. The liquid spread like wildfire on the floor and the broken pieces were scattered all over the place.
Slowly everyone in this room was again among the living. He looked at his work angrily: the curtains were splashed with the tea when the cup hit, and almost the entire floor seemed wet. One of the window panes now had a 'fancy' scratch because it was very deep on the one hand and one of the shards was kind enough to scratch the pane on the other.
After a second "ring" sounded through the building, he went (kindly) to open the front door, even though he was still staring angrily in front of him.
When he opened it, he saw a much older Shinobi in a green Jou-nin vest, whose black hair was hanging a little on his face. His blue-green eyes didn't look exactly interested and the darkness almost swallowed the man, had it not been for one of the lanterns and lanterns.
"What do you want HERE Torah?" It came from the redheaded as cold as ever.
"Kazekage-sama", he began, but was interrupted by the younger one.
"Just call me Gaara", he just grumbled before he half turned in the door and continued: "So, what do YOU want?"
"Kaz", Gaara gave him a punishing look, while the black-haired one improved: "Uh, Gaara-sama, after they had left, something came up for them, it was said that it was important!"With that, Tora took a large package out of a rucksack, which up to now could not even be recognized." Well, good night, Gaara-sama, "the older one bowed and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
With that, Gaara disappeared again in the hallway of the building to take the package to another room, which turned out to be the living room.
Annoyed, he opened it without even looking at it and let it stand eight and disappeared back out the door into the kitchen.
That it didn't look any better here than before, he began to tear the curtains from the rods and toss them out of the room, nobody needed them anyway.
Then it was the turn of the floor, on which he slipped for the second time.
Quickly pick up the broken pieces and swept the corner to a pile, then quickly over the floor with the mop and everything is like new.
He didn't even notice the scratch, it would be better to get a new window that way, it can take longer than he might like.

Suddenly something fell to the floor with a clang, and shortly afterwards the rattling of fine material could be heard. Gaara looked around confused, everything was still 'clean' here.
Slowly he started to put new water on to make a new tea. Until suddenly an impact could be heard, which clearly seemed to come from the living room.
"Hm" annoyed by this day, the red-haired set to go into the living room, which he achieved faster than expected.
When he opened the door to the desired room, he still had to look at a 'work', which, however, had not been created by his hand: The vase, which was on the table before, lay broken in thousands of splinters on the floor. Its water had spread on the wooden floor and a few roses were also scattered around.
If you looked around, you quickly noticed that the curtains in the large windows had a few cracks and that one of the curtain rods was on the floor in front of the window.Groaning, Gaara looked around until he saw a white kitten hanging from one of the wine-red curtains and slowly walked towards it.
A soft "meow" came from this one until the redheaded one who was responsible for the chaos. "Tell me, what are you doing in my house?" Came dangerously calm.
Another "meow" sounded before Gaara took the 'villain' from the curtain.
However, she did not like it and hissed at him, which did not seem to impress him. Now really annoyed, he put the little one in front of the door to put everything back in order.
So all over again, first the mop, then the roses and the broken glass (exceptionally) in the garbage and the curtains as well. Put the rod in the corner and you're done. Slowly tired, the boy moved out of the room, almost tripping over the cat, which at once seemed loudly to complain.
Sighing, he picked up the little one to take her into the kitchen, which she didn't like either.
There he put it on the table to take another cup from the cupboard, which he also filled with the hot liquid.
In the meantime, the blue-eyed girl looked around curiously, but found nothing interesting, the curtains weren't hanging anymore and otherwise it was a boring kitchen, nothing special for a cat.

After Gaara sat down he seemed to think again, which the white one didn't seem to like. So she crept up to this one in order to bite his earlobe the next moment. The redhead hissed only once, which the little one didn't seem to mind.
Annoyed, he picked her up to glare at her angrily, which she happily replied.
“Maybe you are one of me, who are you anyway?” The white one tilted her head, which forced Gaara to smile a little.
"What do you think of the name cream biscuit?"
"Meow"
"All right, I'm going to sleep now", it came cold from this, before he continued: "And you stay outside"When he left the room, cream biscuit just followed him, which he accepted with a shake of his head. After he went up the stairs and found himself in his room, the white one still didn’t let go and curled up on his bed.
"I said you stay outside"
"Meow"
Annoyed, he picked up the cat and went downstairs again, where he opened the door and just sat the cat in front of it.
After a nasty "meow" on the part of the cream biscuit, he went back upstairs. There he sat on the roof of the building and just looked at the stars, like every evening, the danger that Shukaku would take over his body at night while he was sleeping was just too great.

When the sun rose the next morning, he heard a soft "meow" next to him.
"Already awake?" Came the amused redhead.
"Meow"
"Already clear"

Flashback:

The stars twinkled in the sky and the full moon shone. A "meow" sounded behind the boy as he turned around slightly.
"What do you want him back here again?"
"Miau", cream biscuit turned around, offended, which made Gaara smile again, as seldom in life.
With that he turned back to the moon, which the little one used to curl up on his lap. Shaking his head, he examined this before turning away from the sleeping ball of fur.

Flashback end

Suddenly the young cat jumped up, which the red-haired one had not expected. Cream biscuit quickly jumped through the open window that led to Gaara's room.
"Well you wait"
For a moment the young kage did the same, but when he got to the room, he stumbled over the little white one, because it had nicely got in the way.
Thereupon the cream biscuit jumped up again to run through the door down the stairs, which Gaara did the same.
She only stopped when she was standing in front of the front door, as it was just being opened.
Behind her the red-haired one, behind whom the little bitch immediately hid."Hey Gaara, we're back," it suddenly sounded when a blonde Kunoichi and a brown-haired Shinobi entered. The blonde had her hair tied in four braids and she carried a fan on her back. The brown-haired one, on the other hand, had bought war paint and carried a puppet on his back.
"Oh, you're already here," came the skilful woman when she saw that the redhead was already standing in front of her.
He just nodded coolly, which caused the blonde a cold shiver to run down his spine.
"Hello, brother, but tell me who is that", the puppet player pointed to the little cat that was peeking out from between Gaara's legs.
