One fine morning in the Akatsuki headquarters. Akatsuki leader Pain was about to have a nervous breakdown.
"I don't understand! This organization has to make sure that word doesn't get around when they kill someone!" He raged in his office. Konan, who stands bored at the door, just nodded every now and then.
"Why is Hidan performing his stupid rituals with an innocent victim in the middle of the street of a strange village or why is Deidara blowing everything up and attracting even more attention?" He asked, but more to himself than his partner. She just shrugged her shoulders and looked at her varnished fingernails, hoping that Pain would have howled at her soon enough.
“Or Kisame… does he have to slay the people with his sword so conspicuously?” Pain sighed and hit his head on the table. Now Konan sighed too, looking up for the first time in hours.
"Pain-sama ... how about we get some help?" She asked disinterestedly. Immediately the leader raised his head and looked at her in confusion.
"Help?" He repeated, whereupon Konan just nodded. "How should this help look like?"
"There is an organization that is good at eliminating people unnoticed. You can show the boys how to kill without causing a stir.", She explained and looked at Pain expectantly. He thought for a while before his expression lit up.
"That ... is not a bad idea ..." he finally said thoughtfully. Again Konan just nodded.

A few hours later, all Akatsukis had gathered in the common room, on the orders of the leader, of course. Pain was just telling them that something was about to change in the organization.
"You will be shown how to remove a shinobi inconspicuously, since you do not value such a thing. We get support from another organization for this. The two-person teams are disbanded so that everyone gets a partner from the organization.We will then see how long we do this. ", he explained, whereupon he immediately got shocked looks.
"We're getting WHAT?" Asked Hidan in disbelief.
"You ... you can't be serious!", Deidara protested and looked at Pain angrily. Immediately afterwards his gaze flicked to Sasori, hoping that he would say something about it, but he just kept quiet, he didn't care. This new partner couldn't be more annoying than Deidara. Itachi didn't seem to care much either. Zetsu looked confused that he should now get a real partner to replace Tobi. He burst into tears, because he doesn't belong to the organization, and left the room, but not without shouting beforehand: "Nobody likes Tobi!"
Kakuzu seemed to agree with Sasori, while Kisame just grumbled angrily. Konan looked at it all indifferently, after all it had been her suggestion.
“But Deidara, I'm serious and NO MORE WORD!” With that, Pain turned away, leaving his angry organization behind.
