Schwarze Kirschblüte
standing in a kind of living room. There was a corner sofa in the middle and there were dusty bookshelves on the walls. A small table in front of the seating area rounded off the room. Across from Sakura and Itachi was a door that led into a small kitchen. There was a tiny kitchenette and table. There were two doors to the right of the living room. One led into a bedroom with an old single bed and the other formed the entrance to a bathroom equipped with the most essentials.
"Not very nice, but nobody should come over here.", Said the girl, while she looked around the room. She looked into every room, but Itachi just stopped in the middle of the living room. When Sakura had finished her tour, she went back to the black-haired man. "I have to go back now. I'll come back tonight and bring you something to eat.", she smiled and left the house waving.
Brooding over her next steps, the pink-haired woman walked through the forest. She hurried a little to make up for lost time, but the snowfall, which had intensified, was giving her trouble. The snow cover on the floor grew by one centimeter from minute to minute, which made movement difficult. "Good, then I can use that as an excuse," Sakura muttered while looking at her shoes soaked in the white, frozen water.
Shortly afterwards she reached the city. A smile spread across the girl's face as she saw the city walls and the restored stone faces of her beloved hometown. She was so excited to be home that she walked into town reminiscing.
"Sakura-chan !!!!!" The addressed startled, but admonished herself to calm down. Just don't attract attention ... "Naruto ...", the girl smiled when she saw an orange whirlwind coming towards her. Her old friend was immediately standing in front of her. His huge smile on his face and his arms crossed behind his head.
"You're back!", The blonde said happily and Sakura immediately got into her role. "You can see that, Baka. I also wrote you that I'm coming today ..." she snapped back playfully. Naruto understood the gesture and did the same. "You're pretty late, Sakura-chan.", Naruto pouted and Sakura looked at him startled. Too late she noticed that her facial features had derailed and already earned a questioning look. Immediately she tried to turn things around in her favor. "It's snowing like crazy! It couldn't be any faster that way!" Sakura said angrily and walked past Naruto. "I have to report to Tsunade," was all she said before the blonde stood alone in the snow.
Two hours and a report for the Hokage later, Sakura was showering on her bed and drying her hair. She wasn't entirely comfortable hiding one of Konoha's archenemies in the forest and not telling anyone. However, she did not want to hand over the Uchiha. She felt it was wrong to judge the boy. Even if he had killed his clan ...
The pink-haired woman got dressed and went into the kitchen. Her fridge was yawning empty after the long journey and Sakura decided to go shopping. Nobody would notice if she bought something for two people ...
Half an hour later, the pink-haired Kunoichi left the supermarket around the corner and went back home. "Sakuraaaaa!" A female voice called from behind her. "Oh no ..." she mumbled, but turned around smiling. "Ino! How nice to see you again!", Sakura tried to bring it over as naturally as possible. They didn't hate each other anymore, since Sasuke had left them both, but there was still a certain rivalry between them. "How long have you been back?" Asked the blonde in her purple suit. "Since today.", Said Sakura and thought about how she could get out of it quickly. In an hour it would be dark ... "How nice." Ino smiled and Sakura did the same. "So, I have to go now. I'm still tired from the long journey. See you later!" Smiled the pink-haired woman and disappeared in the direction of her apartment.
She quickly grabbed one of the bags and stowed the groceries in a backpack. The girl drew the curtains to make it look like she was sleeping and sneaked out of the house. She quickly left Konoha and ran into the woods.
The snowfall had stopped some time ago. However, it had left a blanket of snow about 20 cm high, through which it was now a matter of fighting through. Of course, as a ninja, she knew that she had to cover her tracks. In case of emergency…
Sakura reached the dark house in the forest. There was nothing to suggest that anyone lived there. She hesitated for a moment, but took her heart and opened the door.A candle was burning in the middle of the living room and Sakura recognized a black figure on the sofa. Itachi seemed to be asleep.
The girl quietly crept into the kitchen and put down her purchases. Just as she was about to unpack the backpack, she felt a presence next to her. Slowly she turned to the door. Sakura didn't want to show that she was still afraid of him.
Itachi stood in the doorway and looked at her calmly. Sakura sighed inwardly. Somehow she had hoped for a more interesting conversation. "I brought you something to eat," said the girl and turned back to the groceries. "That should be enough for about a week. Leave Konoha's surroundings as soon as you feel better." Sakura put the food on a tea towel, which covered the dusty counter.
A second later the girl felt hot breath on the back of her neck. Sakura froze in her movement. Itachi was only a few inches behind her and his gaze seemed to pierce her. Of course the medic-nin was aware that he was blind in one eye and hardly saw anything in the other, but she felt his gaze nonetheless. Goosebumps formed all over her body and she suppressed the urge to run away. "Why?" Came the black-haired man, but Sakura didn't know what he meant. "What ..?", She started, but Itachi interrupted her. "I'm a murderer and I've killed lots of people. I'm also a member of a dreaded criminal organization and I'm the reason the man you love left. So tell me why you're doing this?" shouted Sakura and turned away from him. She stood facing him, panting. Her heart was racing and her blood was pumping. On the one hand she was angry and on the other hand she was also a bit scared. Sakura decided to leave quickly ... "I don't know myself exactly! Just rest and get out of here before I change my mind ..." Angrily, she grabbed her backpack and ran out of the house. She ran into the woods and stopped a few meters from the house. Sakura leaned against a tree and dropped the bag. Tears sought their way out of her eyes and after a moment's hesitation, she let them run free. The girl just wanted to help! She didn't want to see anyone get killed for something they probably had an important reason to do. But now she had doubts. He didn't trust her and that offended her. A lot. More than Sakura thought ...
An explosion ripped Sakura out of her thoughts. In a flash she turned and looked in the direction from which she had heard the sound. Her heart stopped for a moment. Itachi's hut! Without hesitation, the girl ran back to the hut and couldn't believe what she saw there.
Sasuke and Itachi were standing there. Both had their chakra focused and were staring at each other. Sasuke's face was contorted with anger while Itachi just stood there still. The pink-haired woman stared at the younger Uchiha in disbelief. What was he doing here? Why was he in Konoha? Was he still seeking revenge on his brother? The girl didn't know what to do ...
She saw the boys talking, but from the distance she couldn't understand a word. For a long time they just stood opposite each other and nobody moved. Sakura decided to move closer to hear the conversation. However, she stopped after a few steps. Sasuke's angry, twisted face scared her. At the moment he scared her more than Itachi.
Sasuke stormed towards his brother so suddenly that Sakura's eyes widened wider than she would have ever thought possible. A fierce battle began, although Itachi was clearly at a disadvantage. The pink-haired woman immediately noticed that he did not see well and that he was hit by a few hits. Now she could no longer watch ...
"Stop it!" She yelled as she rushed towards the two fighters. Both listened up and parted briefly, so that Sakura, with her back to the older one, could stand in between and spread her arms protectively. She stared angrily into Sasuke's surprised face. "Sa-kura?", He stammered, but the girl didn't move. "YOU healed him, am I right?" The black-haired man asked angrily and the Kunoichi got scared. There was so much hatred and contempt in his voice that it ran cold down her spine. Still, she didn't move a muscle.
"Yes, I did. Stop fighting him now, Sasuke! He's almost blind!" The girl screamed. Sasuke's behavior made the girl very angry.
"You ...!", The young Uchiha hissed and pulled one of his kunai, which made Sakura flinch. Did her teammate really want to kill her just for helping his brother? The pink-haired woman couldn't believe it ...
Suddenly it went black before her eyes. But she only looked at Itachi's black T-shirt because he seemed to have taken off his coat. He was now standing in front of the girl, separating her from his brother. Sakura turned dark red, but wondered why she was doing that.
"What's that supposed to be?" Came a surprised Sasuke. "Leave her alone," Itachi replied in a cold voice. His determined undertone could really scare you.
For a short time nothing happened, but then Sasuke began to laugh out loud. "Ha, I don't believe it! An Akatsuki member and clan killer is protecting a little girl!" Itachi remained calm. He let his brother calm down before he said anything about it. "Yes, because she was the only one who didn't see me as just a murderer." Sakura froze. He had believed and trusted her! The black-haired just couldn't understand it! Now she understood him a little more.
"Ha! That I don't laugh! She just has no idea what you've really done! Besides, she's just a weak, annoying girl!", The young Uchiha blasphemed and Sakura
